“I can't say enough about Rory D. Her home was clean, neat, and very organized. She had a separate "bedroom" where Gigi would spend the night and relax when other pets were in the house. During her stay Rory gave Gigi the opportunity to meet and forge a friendship with another cat. I was so pleased! Rory followed all care requests. Rory sent pictures and videos of Gigi throughout her stay. Gigi appeared very content and happy. Gigi was well cared for and healthy when I picked her up at the end of her stay. Without any reservation I recommend Rory for pet sitting. She did an excellent job. I will definitely rebook with Rory D. the next time I need pet sitting services.”

“Logan was a great communicator, sending daily photo and welfare updates on our three long-haired Chihuahuas. We particularly appreciated his patience with one of our senior dogs, who doesn't always feel safe to eat in new places. He has a great fenced-in back yard for supervised play and potty breaks.”

“We had a wonderful experience with this couple watching our dog, Roxie! They were kind, caring, and made us feel completely comfortable leaving her in their care. They kept us updated with messages and photos, and it was obvious that Roxie was happy, relaxed, and well loved while she was there. Roxie can be a little cautious in new situations, and they were so patient and gentle with her. It meant a lot to know she was in such good hands. We came home to a content, well-cared-for dog, and we wouldn't hesitate to book with them again. Highly recommend them to anyone looking for trustworthy and attentive pet sitters”

“Kona had a great stay at Shannon and David’s! They were welcoming and warm which made Kona very comfortable. Pictures were so cute. He loved the long walks too! We were able to have a great weekend in Ellicottville with no worries. I highly recommend them and would absolutely have Kona stay on our next visit!”

“Erika took great care of our dachshund Penne Linguine! She had a dedicated area for our “little princess” and made sure to give her lots of attention, walks, playtime. We received several photos and video of Penne having a great time on her “vacation”. Thanks guys!”

“We cant say enough good things about Joan and Tim. We really appreciate them taking such good care of our pup! They are always great about sending pictures and letting us know how she's doing. They have watched her several times and we always feel so comfortable leaving her with their family!”

About: I have been taking care of animals for as long as I can remember and have been pet-sitting since age 10 for family, friends, and neighbors. I have almost always lived with at least one cat or dog (or both!) throughout my life. I also have experience caring for rabbits, ferrets, gerbils, fish, parakeets, bearded dragons, and cockatiels. I currently live with two indoor tortoiseshell cats who are comfortable with dogs, and one of my cats is leash-trained. I have raised and trained at least 11 dogs from puppies to adulthood (3 as my own and the others for my parents). Most of my cats I adopted as teenagers, but I have raised a few kittens from a young age. I have done extensive dog training with the 3 dogs I raised as my own in the past, and I am familiar with both dog and cat training techniques. I live in a cabin the woods in Boston, NY, on a power line gravel road. Although I do not have a fenced in back yard, your dog will enjoy going on leashed walks down the power line road multiple times per day! I earn a living through a mix of substitute teaching (summer starts June 25th!), remote research and writing gigs, tutoring, child care, and pet care. I have a flexible schedule and incorporate pet care into the mix as much as possible because I love animals. If I am boarding a dog at my home, I will not be house sitting at that time (and vice versa). While boarding or house sitting, I will consider dog walking and drop-ins depending on the needs of the client and driving distance. If you board your dog at my home, my cats and I wake up early (about 6am) and I like to go outside for a walk down the power line road right away, and then eat breakfast. Your dog will be able to spend time with me all day (on a leash when we are outside), and if I need to leave my house, they will be in their crate for no more than 4 hours (2 is my strong preference). We will go for at least one more walk before dinner, too. I will be sure to give them plenty of play time and exercise throughout the day (depending on their level of activity and how hot it is outside). No matter what, they will get a lot of love and attention! I live in a cabin in the woods in the Town of Boston, NY, so although I do not have a fenced-in yard, there is very little traffic or people around. I will be able to go on long leashed walks with your dog down the power line for exercise, and there are a few friendly neighbor dogs that would love to say hello if your dog is up for that. I do live with two cats: one of them will hide a lot while your dog is here, but the other is very dog-friendly and will want to interact with your dog. I will monitor and separate them as needed (I have a spare room). I have always crate-trained my dogs and so long as your dog is comfortable in their crate, I will use it as a safe place for them to be while they are staying with me.
“Nina is a rockstar of pet care! Her communication is excellent, and her love for animals is so obvious from the minute you meet her. Our dog was thrilled to sleep overnight with her and her other animals. Highly recommended!”

“Nancy’s place is my favorite place to leave my pups for out of town trips! I get lots of picture updates and they get lots of cuddles at their home away from home. I know they’re happy there because they don’t hesitate to run in when I drop them off! So happy Nancy lets my boys stay with her.”

“Jeff is so kind and patient with all animals. He leaves detailed reviews and videos to show how your animal is doing. Our Bernese Mountain dog can get high anxiety when left. Jeff is so good with Henry that even our anxiety about leaving him is put to ease. When we pick up our dog as happy as he is to see us he always goes back to see Jeff for a last petting before we leave. That shows us how trusting Henry is of Jeff! Highly recommended! Thank you Jeff for your above and beyond care given to Henry!!”

“Cruz was at Karen’s house for ten days. Every day they sent us pictures in the morning and evening. He always seemed very happy to be around Karen or her husband. They played , gave him snacks and went for many outside adventures. He was very well taken care of and I will definitely use them again. Thanks so much Karen for doing a wonderful job with Cruz.”

“Alina was SO great with our Henry. Her kids were inquisitive, adorable and kept Henry entertained all weekend long. Alina sent photos, videos and updates on how he was doing which kept my mind at ease. Would 100% recommend Alina. I can tell Henry loved being with them. They have a large backyard which is fenced in- which was ideal. We are so glad we found her and her family.”

“I couldn’t be happier with the care my dog received. Toktam was incredibly kind and attentive, making sure my dog felt comfortable and happy the entire time. I received regular updates, which showed how well my dog was doing and how much care she put into every detail. I highly recommend Toktam to anyone looking for a trustworthy and compassionate dog sitter.”
“Danielle was awesome! Gus had an amazing time and was so tuckered out when he got home yesterday which tells me he was well cared for and played a lot. She was very responsive and provided great updates daily.”

“Jenn took care of my 9 yr. old chihuahua Saturday-Sunday. We did a meet and greet at Jenn’s house the Wednesday before. I liked her right away and I could tell she loves animals. This is the first time leaving my pup overnight at someone else’s house. Jenn did an awesome job of taking care of Mia! She also sent me updates of photos and texts. I will definitely be using her again. I highly recommend her!”

“Valerie was amazing. She Made me feel so comfortable with leaving my service pup for first time 🙏🏻💕 her place is more than enough for a large pooch. So grateful! Will definitely return”

“My family had a critical medical emergency two days before a long-awaited college reunion, so no one could watch my beloved 12-year old Shih Tzu, Brady, at the last moment. I was desperate to find a sitter for my little dog and decided to try Rover.com, and Katy said she was available. Best decision I have made in years. Katy was loving and so conscientious that I never worried for the entire four days. Her house was lovely, and she cared for Brady like her own much-loved family pet. I cannot express the joy and relief this incredibly kind woman gave me during our trip to West Point. I highly recommend Rover.com and Katy.”

“I am so excited that I found someone who will luv and take care of my fur babies like I would. This was the first time I left my babies with a sitter. Katie assured me they would be ok and for me to go enjoy myself on my little getaway! I am happy that I did! I luv how Katie made communication during their stay. I could see that my fur babies were well taken care of and was enjoying their stay. The walks, playtime, and other activities. Thank you Katie! You Rock!!!!!”

“I had a great experience with Alissandria! They were so kind, communicative, and incredibly flexible with my schedule, which I really appreciated. My dog seemed happy, relaxed, and well cared for when I got back. I’ll definitely be booking again. Highly recommend!”

“Mackenzie did a brilliant job taking care of our two cats while we were away. Shared detailed reports of what our cats were up to and how they were during our trip. All around excellent pet sitter!”

“Logan was very prompt in arranging our meet & greet after I reached out on rather short notice. I appreciated his flexibility also when I ended up coming back from my trip a day early. He shared lots of pictures and everything was in order when I got home. I'd be glad to work with Logan again.”

About: I’ve taken care of cats and dogs, since I was a kid. I understand they are your children. I am comfortable giving oral meds, comfortable learning other routes of medication administration if needed. Currently will only board cats from the same home or young puppies (message for more details) at a time due to other animals in the house. Your fur baby will have their very Owen room with a gate door that is about 6ft tall to keep them safe and comfortable when I am not watching them or letting them out for play time. I will follow your set schedule for feedings and play time. If I am boarding an animal they are my soul focus till pick up time. I offer daily or every other day pictures/video updates of your pet, my phone is always on so you can always reach me about any concerns. I have one cat and two dogs in the house. They will remain separated from your animal at all times for safety and comfort of your beloved pet. All animals in the house are fully vaccinated including kennel cough. I will not accept boarding of unvaccinated cats & dogs for safety.

“Nancy was amazing! Our dog enjoyed her time playing and hanging out. Despite my being a class A jerk and arriving far past our agreed upon time for pickup after getting caught in a storm, they were incredibly patient and understanding. We were very happy with our interaction and overall experience and would absolutely come back (if they'd take us! ?).”

About: I have had dogs all my life and spent over 20 years as a Pet Groomer both in a shop and mobile. I have had continued education in cat grooming, dog grooming, skin care, etc. I specialized in senior and anxiety dogs. I have had upward of 9 dogs at one time and they did not all get along. I have also owned a diabetic dog. I also have a Reiki background. Currently I am retired from pet grooming and I own another business that is seasonal therefore my schedule is pretty flexible and my availability is pretty open too. I have a small fenced yard in a low traffic community that is good for walks too. I am familiar with crate training and can accommodate that if needed. I also have gates if access needs to be limited to parts of my house. Example, I do have stairs and can block them if pet is unable to do stairs.
“We are passing through this part of NY, visiting friends. We needed someone to care for Aubie while we were out for the day. Nina answered my request quickly and provided excellent communication throughout. When we met to drop off Aubie, we knew we were at the right place. Nina has a welcoming place for dog care and a calm presence. At 15+ years, Aubie can be a little anxious with changes; here, she settled right in. When we returned to retrieve Aubie, she was soundly sleeping, cuddled in a blanket. Nina, you are the perfect person to care for Aubie. Thank you for the photos and great care.”

About: I’m great with dogs because I’m patient, attentive, and genuinely love being around them. I take the time to understand each dog’s personality, routines, and needs, whether that means high-energy playtime, calm walks, or just quiet companionship. I’m very observant of behavior and body language, so I can quickly tell when a dog is excited, anxious, or needs extra care. I’m reliable with feeding schedules, walks, and any special instructions, and I always prioritize safety and comfort. Most importantly, I treat every dog like my own and I make sure they feel loved, secure, and happy while their owners are away. 🐶❤️ I have 2 dachshunds of my own♥️ I am currently a Teacher, I work from 8-3:45 during the week! I am always home after those times and on the weekends! I am off in the summers and on all school breaks and holidays! I have 2 dachshunds of my own and I spend ALL my time with them when I am home, so I can do the same with your pets! I have a fenced in yard and two fur babies to keep yours company! I can crate them if needed but mine roam the kitchen while I am gone and sleep in bed with me! We are always walking and outside running around!
“Toktam was a loving, sensitive angel when it came to the way she took care of our little Puerto Rican rescue pup Maisie. Maisie is quite wary of new people, but to my delight and surprise, the second day we dropped her off Maisie smiled a doggie smile usually reserved for only three family members (me, my daughter and my husband) and happily rushed to Toktam's front yard gate to see her! Wow! That was a first. I have had really good experiences with Rover but this one was the absolute best because even though I am a worry wart and very protective of our sensitive, formerly traumatized little street dog Maisie, once I met Toktam, I was immediately comfortable, confident and relieved that she would be in the best of hands for her four days of daycare. Thank you Toktam!”

“Jeff is so lovely! He’s great with my dog Lyla and is a wonderful communicator. Jeff takes her for lots of little walks while she’s at daycare, sends lots of photos and updates, and Lyla always comes home super happy and tired from a day of playing. I recommend Jeff to anyone.”

“Rachel has been very good to Sweet Pea and easy to communicate with. By our third drop off for daycare, Sweet Pea was bounding up the steps to go hang out with her and Jasper! I know she'll be in good hands for future stays, will be glad to book again.”

“Valerie provided excellent care for Twix yesterday for an extended period of time. She kept us in the loop with cute pics and text messages which we appreciated as this was our first time leaving Twix outside our home with a care giver. Being a rescue, Twix has fear issues and is a very shy girl - Valerie displayed endless patience working to make Twix comfortable in a new environment. We will not hesitate to call on Valerie again to care for Twix.”

I only host one family’s dog at a time, alongside my friendly mini goldendoodle, Cooper, to ensure every pup receives plenty of love, attention, playtime, and personalized care in a calm and safe environment.
“Katie was incredible and Juno had a blast staying with her! This was our first time using Rover, and we needed an in-home doggy daycare for a few days of our vacation. Katie was the best communicator (prompt and friendly) and took great care of our pup! She went on multiple walks, had a basket full of toys to play with, and had her own doggie bed. We loved seeing pictures on her report card! Overall a wonderful experience and couldn’t recommend Katie further! 🙂”

About: I have always been a dog lover I have had my own for over 30 years as well as grown up with dogs . I have no children and have always considered my pets as my babies . A cuddle on the couch and spending quality time one on one . I am retired from my family business and have purchased a property with a very large yard that I have fenced in. This will make your baby feel more at ease .

About: I’ve loved and cared for animals my entire life. Many of the animals I have cared for have had special health-care needs which has given me a deep understanding of how important pets are to a family. I have managed special health-care needs such as caring for a diabetic cat (Cupcake), a cat with FIV (Sylvester), a cat with kidney issues (Socks), and a senior German-Shepherd dog with dementia (Charlie). Because of this, I am incredibly comfortable with complex care routines. I have also regularly provided reliable drop-in vacation visits for friends and family. I am currently working full time within the Village of Angola, but I have time in the afternoons as well as my lunch break to do drop ins and visits. The majority of my availability during the week will be in the afternoon. I do have most weekends available as well. When caring for pets in a client’s home, safety and routine are my top priorities. I strictly follow all feeding, medication, and exercise instructions to keep your pet's schedule consistent. I also document when I complete a task as well as photo proof as requested. I make sure doors and gates are fully secured during drop-ins, provide fresh water, and always double check the house before leaving. You can expect regular text updates and photos so you know your pet and your home are in safe hands.

About: I've been lucky to share my life with two amazing dogs. One was a sweet 11-year-old deaf golden retriever that I adopted, and my first dog was a German Shepherd that I raised from a puppy until her sad passing. So, I definitely have plenty of puppy experience. For over a year now, I've been a dedicated pet sitter and dog walker, working with several wonderful clients and their furry friends. I always make sure to treat the pets in my care just like my own. I pet sit and dog walk full-time. Potty breaks are no more than 2 hours apart. I am not gone often outside of the home. I really enjoy taking the dogs outside to play every couple of hours. I make sure to feed them twice a day with half portions so they can eat more slowly, unless the owner has different instructions. My home is always neat and welcoming, and I use cozy couch covers so the pets can feel comfortable and free to relax on the couch. Walking dogs is something I truly enjoy, and I can happily handle up to three at a time. It’s a wonderful way for both me and the pups to get some good exercise. I also have a medium-sized, fenced yard where we enjoy playing fetch and taking the dogs for potty breaks. This way, the dogs stay active and are happily tired out when it’s time to go home. While I don’t do house sitting, I always make sure everything is tidy during check-ins, and I take care of the litter, food, and water to keep things comfortable for everyone.

I have an Australian Shepard, Bernese Mountain dog, and a Golden Retriever. I’ve been taking care of big energetic dogs my whole life so its never a problem for me. I am a college student and during the summers have been doing dog walks, feeding, and overnight visits. I’ve never had any problems with any breed and honestly just love to meat new ones. I am a full time college student but I do have a good amount of time. Especially on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and also weekends. Tuesdays and Thursdays also work but only morning and nights. I can deal with complex instructions wether it is different feeding schedules or complicated diet restrictions as I understand that some dogs need a specific meal plan. I can’t currently house any dogs.

My baby that I have now is my beautiful black lab named Princess Leah! Princess Leah makes me very happy everyday! I have a handsome, loving, very sweet, talkative cat named Shadow Bear who I adopted. Shadow Bear is my world too! I know I can make your dog, cat or animal happy too! I love the animal for who it is! I look at all animals needs and wants all very differently because not one has the same. We all have feelings and even our fury friends do! I will provide whatever it takes for your fur baby to be happy, comfortable and in a healthy environment. I have been pet sitting, dog walking, exercising, training, keeping your fur baby active, doing therapy with their back legs, joints and mobility, administering medicine, shots, clipped nails, cleaned ears, bathed, brushing, feeding, constantly changing water, keep hydrated, pampering and just loving your animal like he or she needs to be. I took some classes and this one I took at my vet which I was amazed because they taught me how to drain the adrenaline glands and some dogs have a severe issue with that quite often. My dog does! There are classes that you can go in and they will take the time and show you for some things. I like to to participate in these classes so I have knowledge when it comes time to if anything happens. I started dog walking at 12 years old. A long with other jobs of course throughout life. I have been pet sitting for almost 15 years. I am a full time pet sitter with all of your needs and wants for your fur baby as if your fur baby was my own! You see...... I am with my baby almost all day everyday and as you can tell this is my life. Princess Leah has been my life and is my life! Shadow Bear is too! One more thing! I love to walk, I am very cheerful and I love to talk up a storm. I always talk to my Princess Leah & Shadow Bear. I love all animals! I love people too, but let’s be honest here, not as much as my fur babies! I do not even call my dog a dog. She means that much to me! I live in a rural area and I have some land, I have my own house, I have a huge house, lots of windows, my house is cheerful, I am cheerful, I cook for my fur baby friends, Your baby will not only be loved, but cared for, well taken care of, but part of my family! I love to walk! I also love to have fun and enjoy life! Walking your angel is a joy to me!. Not only will it be their exercise, but enjoyment for your loved one! I do house sitting and cleaning too. Please call me. I am a very honest, loving, compassionate, caring person who works well with people too! I love my animals! I will board your fur babies while you are at work and I also will work around any last minute plans. I also do doggy day care, Check-in’s, Walks, Activities and more! Just drop me a message on here! Thanks! 😊 Incentives: *If you have two animals I will give you a discount on the second animal each time you board with me. For my Doggy Day Care Services if you board two animals with me on a regular basis I will give you a discount and for you boarding one animal with me for my Doggy Day Care Services I will give you a discount too. I love what I do! I love being around animals! I do this full time as my job even though it is more like a passion than a job to me. I stay at people’s houses. I travel and do pet sitting, I stay over night a lot. The most was a week that I worked for with a client and stayed at their house the whole time. I will also do day sitting or check-ins but mostly overnight and pet sitting during the day at my clients homes. Traveling is a lot and a lot of people like when you stay at their homes with their animals and care for them. The animals are safe and feel comfortable in their own environment. I make sure that all my fur babies are cared for, loved, given the attention that they need and all their needs are met. I am a traveling pet sitter now. I use to board animals in my home until I sold my house just recently. Now, I travel to my clients homes. I mostly stay overnight and for more than one day because my clients go away on vacation. I do many services for my clients. I walk your animal, feed your animal whether if it’s can food, dry food or home made food which I have made home made food for my fur babies before and still do. I administer medication to animals, groom them, brush, bathe, keep them active and help them with their mobility, Play, do fun activities with my fur babies, train, keep them busy and entertained and plenty more. I make sure your animal is well cared for, loved like he or she was my own, given the attention it needs, Be happy and even more. I go over and beyond for my fur babies and each and everyone always feels safe, comfortable, loved, happy and etc….. I have a lot of clients and some of them I care for during the Summer when they go away a lot and some of my clients I care for during the week and in wknds. I am very easy to work with because I am a good person. Good people work with good people. All my clients know how caring I am and feel good about leaving their loved ones with me.
“Natalie is great. She let my dog get comfortable with her before taking him for his walk. She was on time and put me at ease as I entrusted my baby to her. I highly recommend her.”

“I had a great experience with Alissandria! They were so kind, communicative, and incredibly flexible with my schedule, which I really appreciated. My dog seemed happy, relaxed, and well cared for when I got back. I’ll definitely be booking again. Highly recommend!”

“Our little guy, Chase, stayed with Rachel for a week. Chase was so well taken care of & when we went to get him, I think he thought he’d been adopted by Rachel! He loved it at her house! We will definitely be using Rachel again to dog sit Chase. She is a dog lover & we have every confidence in using her to care for Chase again. Thank you Rachel.”

About: Hi there, I’m Maddie! I grew up with animals and now have two dogs of my own. I volunteer once a week at my local humane society and have had experience fostering. I understand the need to know that your animal is receiving the best care possible! It’s my goal and mission to treat your pet as I would my own and provide them with the best care possible! Dogs and cats are our loyal companions. They deserve the best that we can provide them with. My schedule is very flexible. I work remotely full time and have control over my schedule during the weekday and weekends. I bring my dogs to work with me when I have to work in the office. I have a fenced in yard that the dogs are able to play in. I have baby gates in the house that can keep pets within a safe boundary. I’m cautious of doors to ensure that pets don’t escape. I’m constantly reading and watching for body language that communicates to me whether your pet is happy, stressed, etc.
“Rizzo had a better vacation than we did staying with Lindsey! She had so much fun playing at the farm running around with Genny and getting lots of exercise! Lindsey provided daily updates with photo’s throughout the week showing how much fun they were having. Rizzo can’t wait for her next vacation with Lindsey and her family!”

“It was pretty daunting leaving my dogs with someone I had never met. My Boxer has separation anxiety so bad she got severe colitis last time I had to travel, so I knew a kennel setting would not be good for her. Getting pictures of the dogs completely relaxed and comfortable put my fears at rest almost immediately! Katie took excellent care of the dogs and took care on my worries as well! I would recommend her without hesitation :)”

“Rylee was fantastic with Puppa. She took him for walks and played with other dogs while she was dogsitting. She fed him some chicken and rice, such a treat! Rylee updated me every few hours and send me videos of him having a wonderful time. I would definitely recommend her to dog sit and hope that Puppa can stay with her again.”

About: I have always been a dog lover I have had my own for over 30 years as well as grown up with dogs . I have no children and have always considered my pets as my babies . Look forward to looking after your furry friend as my own when in my care. I know that each dog has its own personality and I will ensure I care and that I will be attentive to their needs. A cuddle on the couch and spending quality time one on one . I am retired from my family business and have purchased a property with a very large yard that I have fenced in. I bought this property so that I would be able to facilitate looking after pets ( dogs) now that I am a retired at home doggy mom . I also have a seperate fenced in pool area with a fibreglass pool if your baby loves to swim with me ❤️ we provide life jackets as well ( summer months) I have a large garage we have turned into a pet playroom, with separated sleeping areas air conditioned and heated . I have a very large fenced in area for our fur guests to roam. Supervised playtime . At this time I am only taking 1-2 dogs at a time so I can ensure quality time . I like a small scale setting . This will make your baby feel more at ease .
