About: I take pride in my work and strive to treat each and every animal I care for as I would my own personal pets. I personally understand how difficult it can be to trust someone with your furry family members and do my best to make the experience as amazing as possible for both pets and pet parents. I have worked in the pet care industry for over ten years now. I began dog walking in NYC, then managed a luxury boarding/daycare facility for dogs in East Syracuse. Since then I have also branched out into working in animal rescue as well. I also am currently pursuing a certification in dog training. I currently work for myself so my hours are flexible. I can accommodate dog walking most mornings, afternoons and nights. I currently offer in home boarding but limit it to three dogs per night to ensure the best quality of care. I understand that allowing someone into your home to care for your pet can be nerve racking, so I strive to be as mindful of this as possible. Some of the ways I ensure I do this are by speaking with the client before hand to go over anything specific they need done, entering the home in a safe and respectful manner, greeting the pet I'm caring for with enthusiasm, creating a bond with them & making the experience as fun and stress free as possible.

About: When I was a little girl, I read the warrior cat series and fell in love with cats. I decided I had to have one. It took me over two years to convince my parents, but once I got my first (a five year that had been abandoned at the shelter on Christmas) I was hooked. I love every cat, not just my own. Eventually even the most aloof, unfriendly, feral old curmudgeon of a kitty has my respect. I will never force a cat that doesn't want to be bothered to give me attention. That said, I'm very good at doing towel burritos around them if they do need to get a nail trimming or insulin injection. I love to play with them and find new ways to give them enrichment. I really believe cats deserve the attention and commitment dogs do.

“My husband and I were very pleased and happy with the care provided by Nina!! We received many updates and videos throughout the day showing the amazing one on one care given to Thor. Thor looked happy, mentally and physically stimulated and engaged!! There was even a picture showing him napping after a full day.🙂 We were grateful for the peace of mind we had while Thor was in their care.”

“Cindy was great and really put my mind at ease when she looked after my dog, Roxi. We had never boarded her before and were nervous to leave her alone with someone she didn't know. Cindy first did a meet & greet beforehand to make sure Roxi would be comfortable around her & her pets. Then after I booked her, she sent me multiple pics and updates daily and assured me Roxi was doing fine which I so appreciated. I will definitely be using her next time I need a sitter! About: I’ve grown up with pets and have experience with special needs animals, seniors and kittens/puppies. I can administer medicine and am very cognizant of a pet’s personality. For example I have a timid cat, a menace cat and a love bug cat. My Siberian husky is more cat than dog too. I can do drop ins or board dogs in my home. I can also stop by for walks. For the board ins I prefer to take in only dogs because I don’t want to stress the kitty crew out, but I’d be available to come do drop ins for the cats. My yard isn’t completely fenced so I’d probably take the doggos to the park at apple grove and for walks around town. I have three friendly cats and my husky also loves dogs.

“This was our first time away from our pets so we were concerned about how they would handle being in a new environment considering not being completely trained and being exposed to other dogs for the first time. Well, having our initial meeting with Debra at her amazing Doggy ranch and seeing our pups running all over her two acre fenced in property was all it took! We found our place! Not to mention Debra's amazing helpers who love your pets as much as you do (if not more) if that was possible! Her helpers are non other than her husband and Father who are equally amazing! They actually are sad to see your pets go as they become attached to them. If your looking for a place look no further. Mike H”
