About: I have been taking care of animals for as long as I can remember and have been pet-sitting since age 10 for family, friends, and neighbors. I have almost always lived with at least one cat or dog (or both!) throughout my life. I also have experience caring for rabbits, ferrets, gerbils, fish, parakeets, bearded dragons, and cockatiels. I currently live with two indoor tortoiseshell cats who are comfortable with dogs, and one of my cats is leash-trained. I have raised and trained at least 11 dogs from puppies to adulthood (3 as my own and the others for my parents). Most of my cats I adopted as teenagers, but I have raised a few kittens from a young age. I have done extensive dog training with the 3 dogs I raised as my own in the past, and I am familiar with both dog and cat training techniques. I live in a cabin the woods in Boston, NY, on a power line gravel road. Although I do not have a fenced in back yard, your dog will enjoy going on leashed walks down the power line road multiple times per day! I earn a living through a mix of substitute teaching (summer starts June 25th!), remote research and writing gigs, tutoring, child care, and pet care. I have a flexible schedule and incorporate pet care into the mix as much as possible because I love animals. If I am boarding a dog at my home, I will not be house sitting at that time (and vice versa). While boarding or house sitting, I will consider dog walking and drop-ins depending on the needs of the client and driving distance. If you board your dog at my home, my cats and I wake up early (about 6am) and I like to go outside for a walk down the power line road right away, and then eat breakfast. Your dog will be able to spend time with me all day (on a leash when we are outside), and if I need to leave my house, they will be in their crate for no more than 4 hours (2 is my strong preference). We will go for at least one more walk before dinner, too. I will be sure to give them plenty of play time and exercise throughout the day (depending on their level of activity and how hot it is outside). No matter what, they will get a lot of love and attention! I live in a cabin in the woods in the Town of Boston, NY, so although I do not have a fenced-in yard, there is very little traffic or people around. I will be able to go on long leashed walks with your dog down the power line for exercise, and there are a few friendly neighbor dogs that would love to say hello if your dog is up for that. I do live with two cats: one of them will hide a lot while your dog is here, but the other is very dog-friendly and will want to interact with your dog. I will monitor and separate them as needed (I have a spare room). I have always crate-trained my dogs and so long as your dog is comfortable in their crate, I will use it as a safe place for them to be while they are staying with me.

About: I've never understood the "cat person versus dog person" rivalry because I grew up with and love them both! I currently live with two cats and their personalities are completely different even though they are both females and look alike! I enjoy slowly building trust with cats by respecting their boundaries. I love to play and cuddle with cats, but I never force a cat to do anything they don't want to do, which helps them open up to me. I see how cats thrive when I am calm and give them a regular routine.

About: I was raised on a small family farm, and have cared for goats, chickens, ducks, pigs, and more while a part of that. As a child and teenager, I trained dogs through my local 4-H program, and later on started petsitting for family friends. I've cared for puppies, senior dogs, cats, chickens, cows, pigs, goats, turtles, geese, canaries, ducks, and so many others, and I'm always willing to learn something new! I work full-time, night shifts during the week and mornings on weekends, but I'm typically only gone 8 hours max, so there's still plenty of time for me to provide plenty of care and attention to the pets! I typically stay overnight, and will either crate the pets if needed, or let them sleep with me, I wake up with them and spend my day hanging out with them, playing or just relaxing. I do my best to care for each pet as their owner would, to help minimize stress.
About: I’ve always had cats around and have taken care of strays and making sure they always got the love and food they needed! I’ve recently started to help take care of family and friends cats and have researched and learned a lot of things. I love to give my kitty friends space when they need it and all the love and snuggles. I love deep cleaning litter boxes to make sure that they have a clean place to go potty. I also enjoy brushing cats and am very good at getting their nails clipped, even if they’re grumpy!

About: I used to dog walk a couple dogs. Then I moved onto horses. So I know I can handle the hardest canines. They’re fun to have around. I’m working but also just thinking about doing this instead. Work gets boring and this wouldn’t. I love animals and they tend to love me back. I have a giant yard. They can’t be off leash but we can have fun running in the grass. About: I’ve always had a dog growing up and currently have my own black lab! I also help my sister who fosters at a local rescue by letting her fosters take breaks, give them endless love with cuddles, and treat them like my own. Helping many different fosters, I have a lot of experiences with different breeds. My sister has a Husky and Australian Shepard who I take care of regularly too. About: It's Summertime!!! Bring your Pupp-a-ccinos and PuppCorn for a sleeprover to talk about. We just got a new doggie pool for the heat, and have a pop up agility course to play in. Never will a dog be off leash, will always be supervised on a 25ft long lead to have ample room to play and be safe. Parks nearby is Knox farm, memorial Park, BurchField and more. My car/dog mobile is set up with dog seatbelts so we can safely drive to our next fun destination( if approved by owner). Proof of vaccines and flea/tick prevention required PRIOR to drop off. I try to take only one dog but there may be an overlap of a boarding client and daycare client. My favorite thing is to be home with my dogs on the weekend so most likely the shortest amount of time your pup(s) will be home without a human is 2-4 hours max. When I am home, the dogs are my first priority, with many walks, brushing, massage and pampering included in each visit! If your pup needs a bath and is well-behaved in the tub, I'd love to freshen them up! (I do not cut nails). All of my pups are on flea and tick prevention year round. Please reach out if you have any questions! I am home all day during the summer months so I can watch your pup 24/7! I have older pups who love to chill and a younger golden who loves to run around and play so whatever kind of dog you have they should fit right in. No aggressive dogs please! I am home 24/7 when watching your pup. I have a huge fenced in yard for them to play and a nice indoor area as well. Our dogs are allowed on furniture and prefer it over their expensive dog beds lol.

About: I have been fortunate enough to have had animals most of my life. These have ranged from dogs, rabbits, chickens, horses, cows, and fish. I have volunteered time at a wildlife rehab and also worked a few years at a dog daycare facility that would average about 50 dogs a day. I would be happy to walk your dog, let he/she get in touch with nature all while getting in our healthy steps. I would be happy to brush, feed and,of course, get in some needed belly rubs. All dogs and cats need another person to give them love and attention. As a retired teacher, I would love to spend time giving your dog some exercise! I am familiar with tempmental dogs who may be shy, or have been rescued. My teaching experience has given me patience with children and that transfers over to dogs. I truly love dogs and cats!!
About: I’ve taken care of, rehomed and have rehabbed dogs for quite a few years. I’ve taken in special needs dogs, and dogs that have had behavioral problems and have worked with them to reach their full potential. I love watching my family and friends animals and give them all of the comfort and loving they need. Oh, and also all of the snuggles! About: I used to dog walk a couple dogs. Then I moved onto horses. So I know I can handle the hardest canines. They’re fun to have around. I’m working but also just thinking about doing this instead. Work gets boring and this wouldn’t. I love animals and they tend to love me back. I have a giant yard. They can’t be off leash but we can have fun running in the grass. I have animals that will stay upstairs when the dog or cat is here.
About: I’ve always had a dog growing up and currently have my own black lab! I also help my sister who fosters at a local rescue by letting her fosters take breaks, give them endless love with cuddles, and treat them like my own. About: I love dogs and had one for 17 years! Our good boy recently crossed the rainbow bridge and we miss him so much. I have experience with young dogs, but also with senior dogs I am currently available during the day every weekday, so whether it’s an early morning or late afternoon walk, I can be there no problem! About: My parents have been breeding basset hounds since I was 6 years old. Ever since I can remember I have always helped my parents take care of our bassets. I would also help with the deliveries, which means I also have experience with taking care of puppies! My boyfriend has a pit bull mix and whenever I visit with him I will also help take care of his dog as well. She has a lot of energy so we take lots of long walks together. About: I have been taking care of animals for as long as I can remember and have been pet-sitting since age 10 for family, friends, and neighbors. I have almost always lived with at least one cat or dog (or both!) throughout my life. I also have experience caring for rabbits, ferrets, gerbils, fish, parakeets, bearded dragons, and cockatiels. I currently live with two indoor tortoiseshell cats who are comfortable with dogs, and one of my cats is leash-trained. I have raised and trained at least 11 dogs from puppies to adulthood (3 as my own and the others for my parents). Most of my cats I adopted as teenagers, but I have raised a few kittens from a young age. I have done extensive dog training with the 3 dogs I raised as my own in the past, and I am familiar with both dog and cat training techniques. I live in a cabin the woods in Boston, NY, on a power line gravel road. Although I do not have a fenced in back yard, your dog will enjoy going on leashed walks down the power line road multiple times per day! I earn a living through a mix of substitute teaching (summer starts June 25th!), remote research and writing gigs, tutoring, child care, and pet care. I have a flexible schedule and incorporate pet care into the mix as much as possible because I love animals. If I am boarding a dog at my home, I will not be house sitting at that time (and vice versa). While boarding or house sitting, I will consider dog walking and drop-ins depending on the needs of the client and driving distance. If you board your dog at my home, my cats and I wake up early (about 6am) and I like to go outside for a walk down the power line road right away, and then eat breakfast. Your dog will be able to spend time with me all day (on a leash when we are outside), and if I need to leave my house, they will be in their crate for no more than 4 hours (2 is my strong preference). We will go for at least one more walk before dinner, too. I will be sure to give them plenty of play time and exercise throughout the day (depending on their level of activity and how hot it is outside). No matter what, they will get a lot of love and attention! I live in a cabin in the woods in the Town of Boston, NY, so although I do not have a fenced-in yard, there is very little traffic or people around. I will be able to go on long leashed walks with your dog down the power line for exercise, and there are a few friendly neighbor dogs that would love to say hello if your dog is up for that. I do live with two cats: one of them will hide a lot while your dog is here, but the other is very dog-friendly and will want to interact with your dog. I will monitor and separate them as needed (I have a spare room). I have always crate-trained my dogs and so long as your dog is comfortable in their crate, I will use it as a safe place for them to be while they are staying with me.
