One of our cats (Laika) has a hard time warming up to people and most visitors to our home never even get to see her. However, Laika decided to accept Nina and not only came out of hiding for food but sought out love and attention. Our other cat (Rapunzel) was depressed and missed us a lot this last trip. About: Hi! I’ve lived with animals my whole life and now have a two year old cat and a one year old Australian Shepard we’re raising along side our 5 and 2 year old daughters! About: I’ve taken care of many pets in my life as I used to live on a farm growing up. I treat them all as if they’re my kids. I have a part time job as a nurse at a nursing home and I have two children in the home but over the ages of 15, other than that I have no young kids or other pets. My entire life I have always been drawn to animals, and am a huge animal lover! In my early teen years, I worked at a dog daycare where I oversaw the care of up to 14 dogs at one time. I am dedicated to keeping pet parents up to date on the wellbeing of your pets with photos, videos, up to date messages and anything else you’d like as a pet parent (I am happy to do facetime calls too!!). I will always be available and reachable when I am with your pet to answer any questions, concerns, or even just send over some extra photos if you are really missing your furry companion! Additionally, your pets wellbeing and safety is my top priority. I have worked hard to familiarize myself with signs of distress and discomfort in animals, and if anything doesn’t look right I will not hesitate to jump into action to make sure your pet is safe. My dog has had a few scary incidents, and as difficult as it was, it helped to prepare me to know the signs when something is not right and know what to do in case of an emergency. I decided to join rover because I wanted the opportunity to help take care and hangout with animals on a regular basis because it is truly something I absolutely love. I am hard working, enthusiastic, dedicated, and I will care for your pet as if it is my own. At this time due to a family members allergy, I am not able to offer boarding services in my home.
About: For a year, I walked my neighbor's Cavalier King Charles spaniel while she was recovering from a hip injury, until she could walk better. She and her daughter greatly appreciated my help and have said to me that their dog Cooper has been so much happier ever since he met me. I am a college student that goes to school 5 days a week from 7am to 2 pm. I can do early morning walks before 7am since I am a morning person, and I can do walks or come over after class. I am free on most weekends. I am free most of the time in the summer from June to August. I cannot bring pets into my home since I have two cats that are not very pet-friendly. But I can do all the care you need me to do at your house.
About: Hello my name is Emily and I have been with dogs my entire life. I had a big dog named Lucy and a small dog named Oliver, which I love very dearly. I have taken care of many different dogs from big to small and have enjoyed playing, walking, and teaching them tricks. About: I have been working in animal and the dog sitting space since 2020. I have managed a range of pets from rats all the way through dogs. I have worked with sick animals before (administering diabetes shots, cleaning wounds and stitches) and am comfortable doing that moving forward. I have worked with many dogs at a time (up to three) many times in my career. I have also worked with nervous and reactive dogs as well. Overall I really have seen it all. I work a standard 9-5. That being said I work from home every other week, so depending on the week I can spend much more time in the home and provide more supervision. I love to be active so making time for walks and outside time will always be a priority. With weekends off I can spend those full days with your precious pet. I ensure that your pet is healthy, happy and comfortable. I let them become used to me and work around them. This is their space a they should feel safe there.

“Lori is excellent! Our energetic golden retriever stayed with Lori for a week. She greeted us at the door and allowed us to settle him in before we left for a week. She has a great, comfortable space for dogs, including a large fenced in yard. She has a friendly dog and was sure to introduce them slowly and safely. She made sure Louie was safe, even removing stuffed toys he might ingest. She takes the dogs for walks, including the dog park. She was a great communicator and even sent pics of the dogs playing. She also gave Louie a bath before we picked him up! We will definitely use Lori again. Couldn’t recommend her more.”
