I was nervous to leave them for this amount of time especially because one is elderly and has some health issues. Janyl immediately put me at ease during our initial meet and greet. She was very thorough, asked great questions, and was clearly very knowledgable. Janyl had great intuition when it came to the cats' temperaments. She checked in with me daily, sent lots of pictures, and gave me a detailed run down of what she and the cats did each day. She even clipped their nails during her visit and vacuumed. She was obviously familiar with working with diabetic pets when she gave a first injection at our meet up. About: I have grown up around pets my whole life! Dogs, cats. I loved getting to know them all and take care of them. There personalities are all different much like a human and I am always excited to see who they really are. I am looking to get a part time job within the next two weeks. So more than not I will be able to watch and play with my new friends more! I have been around many dogs before even ones that are more aggressive. Over time I have started to learn the signs of two dogs who are uncomfortable with each other. I would never leave a dog with another dog that isn’t comfortable. I can crate the dog or have them there at different times.

About: I grew up with two cats, so I love cats as well as dogs. In 2019, I adopted an incredibly loving, gorgeous lab pit named Lucy, and she keeps me very active every day! She was a rescue dog, and although we were originally fostering her, I bonded with her too much to let her go. I’ve always been a natural introvert and have been drawn to the compassion of animals. I believe we can learn more about our own humanity through caring for animals. I look forward to meeting your amazing furry friends! About: I’ve always had a love for animals and have had pets of my own ever since I was born! Neighbors, friends, and family members have relied on me for years to stay at their homes with their animals, check up on them, and ensure they are being fed and well cared for while they are away. I treat each animal like they are my own and provide the care that they so deserve! I’m currently only working part time this summer so I will have plenty of time to care for your pet throughout the day! Whether it be stopping over for a quick visit or staying over night I have a lot of flexibility and availability in my schedule. Due to having 2 cats of my own and a small apartment, I am unable to keep an animal overnight in my home. About: I grew up with dogs and recently owned 2 rescued dogs. I have land around my home and access to a wooded area with trails for longer walks. I am comfortable with caring for dogs in any facet. I am a teacher and I am looking for summer work. I am free every day until late August. I am willing to walk your dog in your neighborhood or board a dog over night. I have a stake in my yard for when my daughter visits with her 35 lb. Dog. Previous bigger dogs were walked on a leash at all times. I usually walk my dogs 1-2x daily for up to a 1/2 hour.
About: I’ve had multiple dogs all my life and raised plenty of puppies. All kinds of dogs are my favorite people! They bring so much joy and energy to life I have 6 of my own dogs and live on a farm, so walking the fields and woods on our property is a daily occurrence. My dogs truly run my life! About: No dog deserves the kennel! Why settle for the pound when they can spend a night in a home with an owner-on-loan; either in your house on in a house that has raised two other pets from puppyhood to old age? Admittedly, there are stairs and hardwood floors in my house, but I have bought several carpets for my old dog to move around on and can lay them down for your dog’s convenience. We also have a big backyard that your dog will love to run around in (and no predators, unless you count woodchucks and geese) and a long leash that can go all the way to the end of the property line. I love dogs and after a day with me, your furry friend will mistake me for his mother. I’m most busy Wednesdays-Thursdays, so I marked them out on the calendar, but if petsitting is required for several days, that is easy to accommodate! I also don’t mind waking up every few hours to take a dog out—I have not quite reached the age where sleep is important. I won’t allow your dog to roam around outside unleashed (sorry, but I don’t want to lose them!), but when they’re outside, I’ll make sure they have the freedom to run around to their heart’s content. Additionally, I’m willing to walk them in any weather they’ll put up with and even let them sleep on the couch/spare bed, if they’re not too dirty.

She took the time to get to know our dog’s personality and little quirks, which immediately put us at ease. Throughout the stay, we received consistent updates, photos, and thoughtful check-ins that made it so easy to relax knowing our pup was in such great hands. It honestly felt like our dog was on their own little vacation. What really stood out was the level of detail and effort. Becky and her daughter went above and beyond in every way. Whether it was sticking to her feeding and supplement schedules, making sure our dog got plenty of love and attention, extra attention to her needs (it was a change of seasons aka shedding time and they gave her lots of extra care and brushing to keep her comfortable!), it was all so appreciated. It’s not easy to trust someone with your pet, but I would 100% book Becky again without hesitation and recommend her to absolutely anyone. If you’re looking for someone who will treat your dog like their own, you’ve found the one!”

They were very communicative throughout our dog's stay and even went above and beyond to treat and mitigate the ear mites she developed while she was there. “We couldn’t ask for a better dog sitter than Ashley. She was great at communicating with us daily about how our two puppers were doing. She made us feel comfortable by letting us know how they were eating, made sure to confirm with us that they received their medication, and made our dogs feel like they never left home. One of our dogs is a little skiddish, and she did everything she could to make her feel comfortable. We will definitely be booking with Ashley again!”

“Joan and Duncan quickly agreed to do a meet and greet at their home before Carmella's (my 11 yr old pitbull) first time staying with them, with maybe less than a week before I needed them, so that was very kind. Carmella had a pleasant overnight stay with Joan and Duncan. They were very communicative, sending me updates via text on how she was doing and pictures of her playing with her toys and cuddling. I absolutely appreciate things like that!”
