About: I grew up with two cats, so I love cats as well as dogs. In 2019, I adopted an incredibly loving, gorgeous lab pit named Lucy, and she keeps me very active every day! She was a rescue dog, and although we were originally fostering her, I bonded with her too much to let her go. I’ve always been a natural introvert and have been drawn to the compassion of animals. About: My husband and I both work full time out of the house. We're not home during the week 8-9 hours at a time. We live in a single story house on 14.75 acres (no fence). I have had dogs most of my life before moving to Central New York, then finally got our dog in 2017 after moving into our house. My husband and I personally have a dog named Stitch and 2 rabbits, Zander and Rocky. If any of the dogs can't leave their cages alone we relocate the rabbits to another room. No worries they are used to this. Where we can enjoy a good game of fetch in the back yard (long line of course). About: I grew up with dogs and recently owned 2 rescued dogs. I have land around my home and access to a wooded area with trails for longer walks. I am comfortable with caring for dogs in any facet. Why settle for the pound when they can spend a night in a home with an owner-on-loan; either in your house on in a house that has raised two other pets from puppyhood to old age? Admittedly, there are stairs and hardwood floors in my house, but I have bought several carpets for my old dog to move around on and can lay them down for your dog’s convenience. We also have a big backyard that your dog will love to run around in (and no predators, unless you count woodchucks and geese) and a long leash that can go all the way to the end of the property line. I love dogs and after a day with me, your furry friend will mistake me for his mother. I’m most busy Wednesdays-Thursdays, so I marked them out on the calendar, but if petsitting is required for several days, that is easy to accommodate! I also don’t mind waking up every few hours to take a dog out—I have not quite reached the age where sleep is important. I won’t allow your dog to roam around outside unleashed (sorry, but I don’t want to lose them!), but when they’re outside, I’ll make sure they have the freedom to run around to their heart’s content. Additionally, I’m willing to walk them in any weather they’ll put up with and even let them sleep on the couch/spare bed, if they’re not too dirty.

About: I have grown up around pets my whole life! Dogs, cats. I loved getting to know them all and take care of them. There personalities are all different much like a human and I am always excited to see who they really are. I am looking to get a part time job within the next two weeks. So more than not I will be able to watch and play with my new friends more! I have been around many dogs before even ones that are more aggressive. Over time I have started to learn the signs of two dogs who are uncomfortable with each other. I would never leave a dog with another dog that isn’t comfortable. I can crate the dog or have them there at different times.

She was able to keep him safe qnd happy and he got a ton if exercise and attention just like he was at home. We have even tried a doggy daycare and he was hurt while we were away. Jenna kept him safe. We will be using her again next month!”

“I needed a last minute boarding for my dog on Memorial Day Weekend. I had never used Rover previously but a friend recommended it. At first, I was a little nervous leaving my dog with strangers but didn’t have many other options. I brought my dog to Matthew and Christie’s house to meet them and their dog a day or two prior and was immediately relieved. They have a very pet friendly set up, fenced in yard, and our dogs immediately became friends. “I have no words to express my gratitude towards Daylin, she took such good care of Enoch. When leaving Enoch I was afraid it would be a problem because she has a dog at home & my dog is not friendly wiyh other dogs but to my surprise they became great friends. I picked him up he jumped at me of joy but I noticed he also jumped at her which I took as a sign of love from him towards her as well.
