I had a house sitter while I was away but due to his work schedule I wanted to make it easier on him and less stressful on my dogs by keeping their feeding and outside schedule closer to what they are used to. I loved getting to know fur babies and what makes them happiest. I like bringing new buddies home for Lui and mostly I like helping people have a little more time by taking amazing care of their loved ones while at work. I'm happiest when I'm with my pup Lui. He's soon to be 2 years old and still is my spoiled little boy. The love I have for Lui is the love your baby will get when booking with me. I only book dogs in time blocks of 5 hours, so I am never over crowded when it comes to boarding or day care. I like to be sure each pet is taken care of personally and effectively. Pet-Sitting: Often this service for me changes based on owner preference. It requires more in depth detail about the home life of the pet. One reason for this is to ensure I am not interrupting any routines the pet may have. Boarding & Day Care: I treat all pets as if they were my very best friend. We have tv time together (Dog TV), we go on two 30 minute walks within the 5 hour time block. We even eat meals together. Being that my yard is unfenced I personally walk the dogs on leash for 30-45 minutes. Meals for pets are based on owner specifications. Overnight boarding being different in a sense of they get one night walk before bed time/wind down time. They are uncrated (unless the owner specifies to do so), so they have full use of the living area and pets are allowed to be on the furniture purchased for them (Although I am not new to waking up and them being on the couch!)

We do not have an enclosed area but we do have a lead and leash, and your pet will never be unattended while outside or on adventures. About: I’ve taken care of many kinds of different dogs. Parents, friends and family have asked me to care for them while they’re gone. My childhood dog was boxer so have a lot of experience with that breed and I have a pit bull terrier of my own. I am currently home full time, so I’ll have a lot of free time to play and care for your fur babies. Considering I have lots of free time having a dog or a couple dogs to care for isn’t a problem for! I love all animals and treat them like my own! I have a partially fenced yard and a long 100+ ft chain that I could clip onto your dogs collar so they can roam around without getting lose/ running away, they will have their own food and water bowls and be taken out as needed. If your dog needs to be in a crate I have two at home that I could use. I also have a pup of my own that your dog can play with.

About: I have over forty years of dog experience. I bred German Shepherd’s for fifteen years. I have taken obedience, agility, and Nose work from local professional trainers and have done puppy, beginner, intermediate and advanced obedience with three of my dogs. I also worked for 1.5 years at a doggie daycare in Utica. I want to do my doggie daycare on a small scale so your pet receives individual attention. I have seen places doing 25- 50 dogs with only one or two people watching them and I feel there is a great need for care on a much smaller scale. So here I am! I retired from banking and with my husband live on our small farm in the country. We built what we call the dog arena for exercising our personal dogs and I intend to use it to also exercise my clients dogs. I am available most weekends and week days. I was working a part time job at a doggie daycare but recently decided that I would prefer to be home with my pups and yours! I have a large fenced in exercise area. About: I was a volunteer at a local animal shelter from ages 14 to 18, my experience includes puppies, dogs, senior dogs, kittens, cats, senior cats, and feral cats. Part of my job was to help rescue animals from hoarding situations and socialize them, with proper space and respect of course. It was a very long, yet rewarding process.
