I have been cat sitting for over 10 years, as one of my very first jobs was watching my neighbors cat while they were on vacation. She was diabetic so I had to give insulin and make sure she was feeling okay without her mom and dad around. About: Ive been around dogs my whole life. I worked at dog daycares, was a kennel tech at Petland and have years of animal sitting experience including dogs, cats, horses, goats, chickens etc. I had a husky mix most recently for 8 years before she passed. ***dog must be okay with children*** I currently work evenings and am available most mornings/ days/ and late evening. Although I do not have a fully fenced in backyard, we do have a backyard, tons of parks around us, hiking trails and enclosed baseball fields. I allow doggos on my furniture and bed. I work evenings and typically 4-5 hour shifts. I usually take the dogs for a long walk or to the park prior to me going to work to make sure they’re tired/sleeping rather than bored while I’m away. I can also accommodate crating if needed. There’s a fenced in ball park down the street with plenty of side walks for walks. I allow animals on furniture and have plenty of blankets to keep them cozy.

I do allow pets on the furniture, just not in my bed, and have a fully fenced in yard for playtime, as well as the ability to take your furry friend on walks as well! About: I've had dogs my entire life from puppies to rescues! I've also been a grooming salon manager in Ithaca for 9 years. I've cared for many different breeds, ages, temperaments, and quirks all dogs have and I love them all the same. I have two dogs of my own Luke and Yoda. Luke is a 6 year old lab mix around 35 lbs. He is very loving and playful. Yoda is a 5 year old miniature fox terrier mix who has unlimited energy and is the sweetest snuggler. I am home all day with my baby and two dogs of my own so I can give the same care to some extra dogs! I treat every dog as if they are my own. I have lots of extra blankets to make sure they have there own space (i do recommend to bring some of there stuff like blankets, beds, and toys to make them more comfortable) and have extra room to separate them if they need to be alone. I will always make sure they are comfortable, happy, loved, and safe!

I have decades worth of experience caring for dogs, cats and other small pets, from my own to friends and clients in the professional setting. I have two cats personally, they run the household and tell me what to do. They eat twice a day, get their boxes cleaned daily, and petted and played when they decide. I have done long term dog walking and dog sitting for a few local families in the Cortland area. They love me and I love them and their pups! My weekly schedule is flexible but Friday's I'm unavailble all day due to a full client scheudle that day! I have three dogs, a cat, and some chickens. All my animals are up to date and we have an electric fence to maintain their boundary. They get alot fo walking, running (especially the goldendoodle,) naps, and lovin'. My clients pets get walked twice a day, sometimes three if needed. I have one family who just likes me to go and let them out, play some fetch, and lots of belly rubs. I have been asked to take pets for walks, emergency pick ups from boarding facilities, and asked to do feeding schedules.

My golden retriever, Simba was well taken care of in her home, instead of in a kennel at the overpriced “fancy” boarder in Ithaca. She sent me updates and pics daily and answered all of my texts within minutes! When my arrival time changed last minute, she was flexible and understanding. I will be using Destiny in the future and recommending her to other dog parents that I know!”
“Huijun and her husband took excellent care of my boys, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. She kept me updated every single day by sending videos and messages, letting me know when they had dinner and when they were settled in for the night. It gave me so much peace of mind to see how comfortable and well cared for they were. In one of the videos, I saw her giving one of my boys cuddles, and he was clearly loving the attention, which meant a lot to me. I had sent them with a full bag of their belongings, and everything was returned exactly as I left it, which I really appreciated. On top of that, my flight ended up being delayed, and they were incredibly understanding and accommodating with the change in timing. Their flexibility and kindness truly stood out. Overall, I was extremely happy with the level of care and attention my boys received. I would absolutely trust them again in the future and highly recommend them to anyone looking for reliable and compassionate pet care.”
