Personalized care for your dog or cat - Factoryville

“Chloe was phenomenal! She watched my Australian Shepherd for 4 days and was very thorough in getting the behavior of my dog, and extremely communicative by giving me updates throughout his stay. She also allowed me to drop him off ahead of schedule to make my life easier. 10/10 would use her again for any and all services”

Rory F.

“Recommend 100%. Karly is very kind, wonderful with our Sheena and another dog in her care. Managed them both lovely and clearly has fantastic knowlege and care with taking care of both pups. Sheena looked to have a great time. Very appriciate of faboulous pictures.”

“Our sweet Vera was recovering from ACL repair, and we are deeply grateful to Deb for taking care of her so beautifully while we attended a 3 day series of wedding events. She made sure Vera had walks of the length and nature she is permitted and cuddled her at night when she needed reassurance about our absence. Her home is incredibly suited to doggie fun and safety with a fenced play yard and even a poo;l on her deck for hot days. Vera loved sitting in the pool while cooling off during our recent heat spell. Deb's extensive knowledge of dog behavior provided new insights to us; she helped us understand some of Vera's responses when we arrived and affirmed the findings of our pet shrink (yes we had one when she was a puppy). Frequent photos and updates from Deb not only exceeded expectations but they also reassured us during a difficult time for leaving Vera. No sitter or boarding facility has made us so happy and comfortable in our three decades of dog ownership. We are deeply grateful to have Deb on our team!”

Nancy M.

“Melissa was an exceptional sitter. Lupine had a great stay. She was very communicative and provided lots of photo updates. Highly recommend her!!”

Eliza T.

“Erica was wonderfully patient and kind with our elderly Chihuahua, Suzie, while we explored local attractions while traveling through the area. Suzie is typically anxious in new situations but she looked relaxed in the pictures Erica sent to us throughout her stay and was calm and happy when we picked her up. We are extremely thankful for Erica’s focused attention and compassion with our senior girl.”

Maria D.

“Karen and her family took incredible care of my 90 pound lab mix. My dog became part of the household in a short 24 hours. I’ll definitely use her again when I’m in the area.”

Paisley C.

“Deirdre was absolutely wonderful! She took the time to know and understand our boy and his quirks and provided a safe and cozy place for him while we were away. Her communication was frequent and clear, and was very easy to work with. She's very mindful and in-tune with dogs and obviously cares deeply about providing a good experience for them. The model shots we got for updates was also a huge bonus!”

Kayla S.

“Jesse was great taking care of Bengal, absolutely no complaints and was able to bail me out at the last possible second during a busy holiday time.”

Joey A.

“Miah was absolutely amazing with my two girls and on super short notice too! They absolutely loved staying with her and her pups and she took fantastic care of them.”

Tait B.

“I was in a pinch and needed someone to take my pup for the night and she was so much more than accommodating! Above and beyond for sure! I will 100% have her watch my baby again!”

About: Now offering adventure daycare (pick up and drop off service and hiking during the day) and boarding in my home which includes adventure daycare.... Over 16 years training, walking and exercising high energy dogs. I have extensive experience with working dogs, special needs dogs and have certifications in dog obedience and other disciplines. I am licensed as a public school teacher and fully background checked. Contact me for the best care. Boarding and adventure daycare is my speciality. I have limited drop in availability. Dog walking and exercising is my full-time job. I want to provide a concierge service that makes it easiest for you to take your time back and be well. Your wellness is key to your dog being well. My joy for this profession started when I couldn't find a trusted sitter and dog walker for my own animal. I decided to provide that service to others so they wouldn't have the same problem. I give love, attention and exercise to your family member as if they were my own. I am a licensed public school educator who is fully background checked with glowing references that can be provided.

“Oz had a great time. Biggest thing was, he gave Niko one sniff and decided to show himself to the door. He definitely felt at home. Plenty of walks and pictures as well.”

Owen T.

About: My name is Melissa and I have taken care of animals since my first dog in second grade. I previously had a Labrador and Shih-Tzu who both lived until old age. I also fostered older dogs who could not find homes due to their age. I currently have a one year old yellow lab mix. He’s dog and cat friendly. In order to board your dog, your dog must be dog friendly. I also require a meet and greet to ensure it’s a good fit. Buddy is not neutered so unspayed females are not a good fit. I offer boarding in my home. I live in a second story apartment in an old building with a large yard. There is a picture of my apartment located within my pictures. I only board one animal at a time as it's a one bedroom apartment. It allows me to spend quality time with your pet! For boarding I do provide dishes and toys, but many animals prefer to have some of their own. I have open availability on weekends, however I work from home on weekdays and there may be times I need to be out of my home for up to three hours. I have a camera in my home and will be able to remotely check on your pet if I need to be away for work. I will always inform you prior to the booking if I have appointments out of the home. I am experienced feeding animals in a variety of ways and will follow your instructions on feeding and walking. I ensure animals are well cared for, played with, and that they receive the attention and care needed.

“Karen was absolutely wonderful with my two cats. She stayed in my house with them for over a week during Christmas and New Years, was a great communicator, kept me updated with photos, and I felt very reassured leaving my pets with someone so responsible. Upon my return everything was tidy, the cats were well fed with extra food and water laid out, and litter boxes cleaned. It was a great experience and so wonderful having her take care of them while I was away so I could relax and enjoy my vacation worry free.”

About: Relationship with animals has always been a passion of mine. I started grooming dogs with my grandmother at the age of 10, but was her assistant long before I earned the title. It brings me joy and fulfillment to care for pups and cats alike, while creating an environment where they (and you) can feel safe and earn my trust in the process. As a part time bartender at Pascolo Restaurant in Downtown Burlington, it would fit into my schedule to walk dogs in the morning, afternoon and early evening as well as weekends. There is a lot of freedom to work around your schedule :) In my home, I live off of Main Street in Vergennes and can provide safe walking around town as well as some of the trails near by. In your home, I am quick to adapt to whatever will make you most comfortable!

“Pascale was wonderful with our two shy kitties!”

Michelle T.

“Colleen was great! She came a few days before to meet my (high maintenance) cat and see the space. She was super warm and nice - I had no qualms about leaving my baby in her care. She updated me a couple times of day, with pictures! My cat was healthy and happy after she left, and the house looked great - she even took out my trash! I would (and will) 100% book Colleen again!!”

Jessica B.

“Erica was amazing. Our dog felt right at home. She is so kind ,and you can tell she is a lover of animals. I would absolutely book again.”

Danielle L.

“Chloe is a great sitter! This was our first time using Rover and leaving our 5 month old puppy, Goose. He had no hesitation and immediately followed Chloe when we left. She sent pictures throughout the day and kept us updated. Highly recommend!!!”

Paige G.

“Karly helped us out with a last minute request. Max had a good afternoon with her. Thanks, Karly!”

Yolanda B.

“Karen was very accommodating for an early am drop off while I visit from out of town to hike. Spud seed to have fun with his new friends”

Michael W.

“Deirdre was great. This was my first time leaving my pup with someone, and she sent frequent updates with photos. Will definitely be booking with her again.”

About: I've had dogs since I was born, have worked in shelters and keep raising my own puppy dog. I give dogs multiple walks and play with them. If necessary I take them hiking, play fetch outdoor and give them lots of love an attention. I will make your dog feel like family and help with any training that you're working on. I would love to have many digs but at the moment we can only afford one as we travel through occasionally. I work from home Monday through Friday so I am there 24/7 to support and hang out with your pet. We usually do at least a morning walk, lunch quick outing and afternoon longer walk. Our home has an unfenced yard. I will walk your pet on a leash through our trails. I will follow your pet’s schedule and they will be allowed in the open house including couch and bed if that is part of their lifestyle.
