“As all true dog lovers know, a dog is not just a pet, it is a member of the family. As such, I am very cautious about where and who I leave my dog with. As we had never had to leave our Violet with anyone, my wife and I were very worried when we had to leave our girl for almost 2 weeks. We did not feel comfortable boarding her at a kennel as we didn’t think she would respond well to that environment. So, we went to Rover to see if we could find someone we thought would be a good fit for our Violet. After reading multiple write ups on various Rover sitters, we found Erika who we thought looked like a good fit and was close to our home. At our meet and greet with Erika, my wife and I had perfect peace as we met with Erika and saw the home where Violet would be staying. Erika had a warm and inviting home, a fenced in backyard, and the perfect playmate, ( her dog Huxley) for our girl Violet. My wife and I decided immediately that this home and sitter would be the perfect fit for Violet. We were not disappointed! Erika loved our Violet as much as she loved her own dog and showered her with love and affection. She sent us daily pictures and videos of Violet and her dog playing, napping, and just having a wonderful time. She was having so much fun. We jokingly, worried that Violet wouldn’t want to come home with us after spending time with Erika. Ha Ha. In summary, any dog would be lucky to spend time with Erika. She is an amazing person and we were so happy we found her. This app only let me put in a rating of 5 stars, but if I could have, I would have put in 10 or more stars in rating her performance. We would definitely use Erika again in the future, if and when we needed to board our Violet. My only worry is that after reading my review of Erika, everyone will want to board with her and I won’t be able to have my Violet stay with her when I next need her. Ha ha.”

About: I’ve grown up caring for dogs, cats, lizards, and hamsters! Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and I truly adore pets of all kinds. Whether they’re energetic, shy, scaly, fluffy, or somewhere in between, I treat every animal like my own best friend. I work remotely, which gives me a very flexible morning schedule and the ability to create my own hours. I love spending as much time as possible with the animals, making sure they feel loved, stay active and engaged through play, and are always safe and well cared for. I'm your woman. I am a stay-at-home dog mom. Typical schedule is I am an early bird and go on morning walks or hikes. I leave for 1-2 hours for gym dependent on class schedule. The rest of the time is spent at home so I have plenty of time for multiple walks, activities, and anything else your fur baby may want. About: I have raised two dogs (one large bread and one small bread) both from puppy to 16 & 17yrs old. I have had three cats (one still residing with me). Currently I dog sit two fur babies since 2020. In a week I am losing one of my buddies due to his parents relocating. I am already missing him and am hoping to make some new walking and cuddling partners. I work part time on weekends but can sit with advanced notice. Monday til Wednesday I am available for anytime on shorter notice. When I have your furry sweetheart I do not leave them by themselves at all,so I like to schedule when there is nothing to conflict with the time I have them. When in my house they have no restrictions from me, only what the parent wants. I have an outside bathroom area on leash for quick bathroom trips. I like to go for at least one or two long walks per day, weather permitting and your dogs abilities. I live in a walkable neighborhood and close to parks. When at your house I will follow whatever routine your partner is used to.

Sassy had never been under someone else's care and my aunt was nervous about leaving her with a "stranger". But Mindy was wonderful and allowed us to come for a 'meet and greet' when we arrived in town the day before our booking. My aunt was still nervous about leaving her the next day because Sassy, being a Maltipoo, has separation anxiety. But Mindy knew taking Sassy for a walk right after we left would be a good distraction. She was also wonderful about sending pictures and videos especially that first day and that made us feel better about leaving her. By the second day Sassy was comfortable going straight to Mindy when we arrived. Also, she was very flexible regarding drop off and pick up times.”

About: Hi! I am here to make your life easier with taking care of the needs of your pets. I love animals and you can count on me to take care of them like they are my own. I am happy to care for your animals on evenings and weekends. They are always welcome to stay with me at my place as well. I live in a community where there is a dog park, plenty of walking areas and lots of other dogs. I will treat your home and pets like they are my own.
About: I have taken care of dogs for family, friends, clients and coworkers for several years. I love animals of all kinds and am reliable, communicative, and pay close attention to pets in my care. Currently I work nights Sunday through Wednesday, so I’m currently not available for overnight stays on those days. I can stop by after work in the morning and throughout the day for check ins or walks. Thursday through Sunday (during the day) I’m available. I am happy to provide references and am also open to meeting in person beforehand so that I can answer any questions clients may have. I follow instructions to a “T” and will provide top quality care for your pets.
