“Kona had a great stay at Shannon and David’s! They were welcoming and warm which made Kona very comfortable. Pictures were so cute. He loved the long walks too! We were able to have a great weekend in Ellicottville with no worries. I highly recommend them and would absolutely have Kona stay on our next visit!”

“Derek and Chelsea treat our girls as their own. We always know that their needs are well taken of, be it playing, feeding, administering meds, comforting, and all the little things that may turn up. They have a very large fenced yard for great play times and keep everyone organized and supervised indoors.”

“Alyssa did an amazing job watching our 2 doodles. They were in great care, and they loved being there for the night. She was super responsive and was willing to watch them on short notice. Totally recommend her!”

“I am great full to Dana and Jeremy for taking such good care of Samantha. I loved the daily updates and photos of Samantha. They reassured me that she was happy and that I could relax and enjoy my vacation. I will definitely use Rover again.”

“Thank you very much Joan and Thomas for taking such good care of Oli, I’m sure he enjoyed all the walks and attention that you gave him. We were very happy that we were able to find you so quickly. We appreciate all your care for our Oli-fur 😊 Thanks again, Lorraine and Rich”

“It was pretty daunting leaving my dogs with someone I had never met. My Boxer has separation anxiety so bad she got severe colitis last time I had to travel, so I knew a kennel setting would not be good for her. Getting pictures of the dogs completely relaxed and comfortable put my fears at rest almost immediately! Katie took excellent care of the dogs and took care on my worries as well! I would recommend her without hesitation :)”

“Erika and Nick were wonderful while watching my pup! They were very communicative right from the beginning, even took time to meet up with me before drop off to a sure that our dogs got along. They were very communicative the entire time they were watching my pup and sent lots of great pictures so I can always know how things were going. Will definitely be using them again!”

“Mickey was great. She made Beasley feel very comfortable and treated him like one of the family. She even bought him a sweater that she let us keep while we were gone because it got very cold out. He not only loved her but he also made a couple new friends at her house. Sunny and Sylvester were great companions for him during his stay. We will definitely be calling Mickey for future travels when Beasley needs a place to stay.”

“Katie was an excellent sitter for our dog Louie, while we were on a long vacation! This is the first time using Rover, as well as having someone outside of our family, watching our pet and it was an excellent experience! She sent daily updates and pictures which helped in dealing with the separation anxiety! Recommend highly and will use again!”

“Jenn took care of my 9 yr. old chihuahua Saturday-Sunday. We did a meet and greet at Jenn’s house the Wednesday before. I liked her right away and I could tell she loves animals. This is the first time leaving my pup overnight at someone else’s house. Jenn did an awesome job of taking care of Mia! She also sent me updates of photos and texts. I will definitely be using her again. I highly recommend her!”

“Megan kept me updated on how my dogs were doing and worked very well with my schedule! Was willing to be up early in the morning and dropped the dogs off at my place late with no problem. The dogs came back happy and exhausted showing they had a fun time. I'd definitely book with her again.”

“Lindsey did a fantastic job watching our goldendoodle. He loved the long daily walks and play time with her cute dog, and I enjoyed the daily updates and pictures. Vacations are much more relaxing when you know your dog is also having a great time. Looking forward to another booking, thanks Lindsey!”

About: I have been taking care of animals for as long as I can remember and have been pet-sitting since age 10 for family, friends, and neighbors. I have almost always lived with at least one cat or dog (or both!) throughout my life. I also have experience caring for rabbits, ferrets, gerbils, fish, parakeets, bearded dragons, and cockatiels. I currently live with two indoor tortoiseshell cats who are comfortable with dogs, and one of my cats is leash-trained. I have raised and trained at least 11 dogs from puppies to adulthood (3 as my own and the others for my parents). Most of my cats I adopted as teenagers, but I have raised a few kittens from a young age. I have done extensive dog training with the 3 dogs I raised as my own in the past, and I am familiar with both dog and cat training techniques. I live in a cabin the woods in Boston, NY, on a power line gravel road. Although I do not have a fenced in back yard, your dog will enjoy going on leashed walks down the power line road multiple times per day! I earn a living through a mix of substitute teaching (summer starts June 25th!), remote research and writing gigs, tutoring, child care, and pet care. I have a flexible schedule and incorporate pet care into the mix as much as possible because I love animals. If I am boarding a dog at my home, I will not be house sitting at that time (and vice versa). While boarding or house sitting, I will consider dog walking and drop-ins depending on the needs of the client and driving distance. If you board your dog at my home, my cats and I wake up early (about 6am) and I like to go outside for a walk down the power line road right away, and then eat breakfast. Your dog will be able to spend time with me all day (on a leash when we are outside), and if I need to leave my house, they will be in their crate for no more than 4 hours (2 is my strong preference). We will go for at least one more walk before dinner, too. I will be sure to give them plenty of play time and exercise throughout the day (depending on their level of activity and how hot it is outside). No matter what, they will get a lot of love and attention! I live in a cabin in the woods in the Town of Boston, NY, so although I do not have a fenced-in yard, there is very little traffic or people around. I will be able to go on long leashed walks with your dog down the power line for exercise, and there are a few friendly neighbor dogs that would love to say hello if your dog is up for that. I do live with two cats: one of them will hide a lot while your dog is here, but the other is very dog-friendly and will want to interact with your dog. I will monitor and separate them as needed (I have a spare room). I have always crate-trained my dogs and so long as your dog is comfortable in their crate, I will use it as a safe place for them to be while they are staying with me.
“I can't say enough about Rory D. Her home was clean, neat, and very organized. She had a separate "bedroom" where Gigi would spend the night and relax when other pets were in the house. During her stay Rory gave Gigi the opportunity to meet and forge a friendship with another cat. I was so pleased! Rory followed all care requests. Rory sent pictures and videos of Gigi throughout her stay. Gigi appeared very content and happy. Gigi was well cared for and healthy when I picked her up at the end of her stay. Without any reservation I recommend Rory for pet sitting. She did an excellent job. I will definitely rebook with Rory D. the next time I need pet sitting services.”

“Karen and her husband were so hospitable and kind! They loved my dog as their own ❤️ They walked him, fed him, played with him and took plenty of photos for me! My dog is very expressive and we could really tell he was SO happy there- when we picked him up, it was so clear he LOOOVED them. They were so, so sweet when we picked him up/dropped him off and made both me and my husband feel so comfortable & safe leaving our baby with them.”

“It was the 1st time, and I'm very happy with Leah. When I was dropping off my dog, I knew that my dog would love her. Leah kept giving me updates constantly. I definitely trust Leah with my dog and will rebook with her again.”

About: UPDATE: looking for new clients in our neighborhood in Holland! About me: I grew up always with dogs and cats. I currently have cats and a german shepherd dog! While in high school I attended a small animal science program for 2 years and we had our own grooming business running for dogs. In the program I worked with the smallest dogs to the largest canines; walked them, bathed them and groomed them. I love walking dogs and will make sure your dog gets a great walk. This is a full time job for me as it brings me immense happiness! I also have experience with most small animals including rabbits, guinea pigs, ferrets, chinchillas, hamsters, bearded dragons, rats, gerbils and mice from my time in small animal science in school. I also have comfortablilty with farm animals as well as I've watched a few flocks of chickens. I'm positive, honest and hardworking; your furbabies will always be my biggest priority while they're with me! Currently I'm taking as many clients as I can comfortably fit into my schedule. Please feel free to chat with me about your furbabies needs! I can easily handle anything your furbaby throws at me as well as you furparent! Give me as clear as instructions as possible and watch them thoroughly get followed; I honestly thrive on instructions! Expect questions from me!! At the moment I am limiting how many clients I can take at once. Always reach out and ask; I always try to response as soon as I can! I don't currently have the ability to have clients in my home but I absolutely love taking care of them in their homes. I'm extremely professional and cautious; I do everything possible to keep your pet and property safe. I take the time very seriously so the clock starts the moment I have the animal and I sprinkle love into every free moment.
About: I was a dog runner in NYC for 2 years, I grew up with a hunting dog, I've had multiple Chihuahuas as pets. I also have tended to all my dogs needs, included bathing and nail trimming. I enjoy all dogs company! I am a stay at home parent, so I take my dog out at least 3 times a day. I can accommodate your furry buddies schedule easily throughout the day. We have a trail through the woods to walk around as well. I have a 5 acre property with no neighbors, I also did house sitting in NYC so I follow whatever instructions are needed to make your pet as comfortable as possible.
About: I’ve been around dogs and cats my entire life, so caring for animals has always come naturally to me. Over the years, I’ve cared for pets with different personalities, energy levels, routines, and needs, and I understand how important it is to make them feel comfortable when their people are away. I’m patient, attentive, dependable, and genuinely enjoy getting to know each pet individually. Whether they need walks, playtime, feeding, cuddles, or just someone to keep them company, I’ll treat them with the same care and attention I give my own pets. My schedule is currently very flexible, which allows me to dedicate plenty of time and attention to the pets in my care. I’m available throughout the week and can accommodate a variety of schedules and routines. Whether your pet needs companionship, playtime, walks, feeding, or just someone nearby to make them feel comfortable, I’m happy to work around their normal routine. I understand that every pet is different, and I believe their care should reflect that. I take the time to learn each pet’s normal routine, personality, boundaries, feeding schedule, and individual needs. I will always respect the instructions and preferences you provide and prioritize your pet’s safety and comfort. My goal is to make their time with me feel as familiar, comfortable, and stress free as possible.

About: I’ve always had cats around and have taken care of strays and making sure they always got the love and food they needed! I’ve recently started to help take care of family and friends cats and have researched and learned a lot of things. I love to give my kitty friends space when they need it and all the love and snuggles. I love deep cleaning litter boxes to make sure that they have a clean place to go potty. I also enjoy brushing cats and am very good at getting their nails clipped, even if they’re grumpy!
“Elizabeth was right on time and performed all chores etc., we asked of her wonderfully. She sent us picts of Rocky (our cat) on a daily basis. We found our home in the same shape (or better) than we left it.”

“This was our 2nd booking with Jes and she is fabulous!!! I loved seeing the photos daily and the progression of them warming up and sitting on her lap made me melt and know I left my babies in great hands! I will 1000% book Jes every time I need a sitter!!”

“Katie is very responsive and SO GREAT with our puppies. She always updates to let us know how our drop in visit went for the day and I feel at ease knowing she is caring for our pups while we are at work. I highly recommend her for any of your service needs!!”

About: Hi! I have always loved animals, and have grown up with dogs and cats all my life! I moved to Collins in 2024 to a property with 30 acres of mostly wooded land with a dog kennel, cat house and barn! The property has a huge area for dogs to run and play. We are working on repairing a huge fenced in area right now, so we would walk around the property on a leash always. I have woods and trails on my property that I love to take walks through. Your pet and I will have so much fun together, I like to be very active and really enjoy hiking and playing with my dog. My playful dog would also love a friend to play with! I am starting a career in pet grooming in about a month, and I would love to gain experience working with animals professionally. I am very interested in learning about dog behavior and training. I have one dog, a 1.5 year old German Shepherd mix, two cats, and two goats. I've had senior dogs in my family before so I have experience with dogs of all ages! I would love the chance to take care of your animal for you and to take care of anything and everything that they would need to feel comfortable, safe and loved. I understand that patience is key when taking care of an animal! I have open availability until Aug 10. After that I will adjust my availability and I should have week nights, Sat night and Sun available. I will take care of your home, make sure I follow your directions, follow any rules in your household, and have utmost respect of your home. If boarding at my home, I will make sure your pet gets plenty of one-on-one time walking, hiking, playing, training and cuddling. I will give your pet the time, patience and love that they deserve!

“I have to admit, I was a little apprehensive when I decided to use Rover. When I met Amanda and her husband, I could tell right away they were kind and warm people. Amanda is very good about answering my messages/questions promptly and is very attentive to my little buddy's needs. Amanda has sent me pictures whenever Java visits. I am confident that my dog is in good hands when I need to leave him with her while I work. I would definitely recommend her!”

“Nancy was amazing! Our dog enjoyed her time playing and hanging out. Despite my being a class A jerk and arriving far past our agreed upon time for pickup after getting caught in a storm, they were incredibly patient and understanding. We were very happy with our interaction and overall experience and would absolutely come back (if they'd take us! ?).”

About: I have had dogs all my life and spent over 20 years as a Pet Groomer both in a shop and mobile. I have had continued education in cat grooming, dog grooming, skin care, etc. I specialized in senior and anxiety dogs. I have had upward of 9 dogs at one time and they did not all get along. I have also owned a diabetic dog. I also have a Reiki background. Currently I am retired from pet grooming and I own another business that is seasonal therefore my schedule is pretty flexible and my availability is pretty open too. I have a small fenced yard in a low traffic community that is good for walks too. I am familiar with crate training and can accommodate that if needed. I also have gates if access needs to be limited to parts of my house. Example, I do have stairs and can block them if pet is unable to do stairs.

My Boxer has separation anxiety so bad she got severe colitis last time I had to travel, so I knew a kennel setting would not be good for her. We will definitely be calling Mickey for future travels when Beasley needs a place to stay.”

“Love this young lady. She was great with our dog Cooper. She sent updates and photos to help but our mind at ease. Treated our dog like her own. I would recommend Allissa very much.”

“Brianna was wonderful! Would highly recommend! Our little dog Lily loved her! Brianna sent pictures and texts of what Lily was doing throughout the day. She was very friendly and very easy to work with! Thank you Brianna for taking such good care of our Lily!”

“Once again Jessica provided the best care for our dog. He came back happy to see us, but also quite content and not the least bit stressed. Jessica is willing to provide pictures and updates, but is never bothersome. We absolutely trust her with our dog and will continue to look to her first.”
