About: I’ve met more cats than I care to count and there’s no companion quite like them. I was a part of caring for the cat in my profile picture, he was older than all of my siblings and was very much family to me for most of my life. About: I started walking my next door neighbor’s Boston Terrier when I was around 10. She knew I was an animal lover, and even let me experiment with some training with her pup. This led to me getting into agility training and just general dog training, which I have started to pick back up again. I am known as the family dog sitter, as my family has a combination of Pit Bulls, Bernedoodles, and hunting breeds, so I’ve worked with dogs of all shapes and sizes and stubbornness! Aside from dogs, I grew up volunteering at shelters where I adopted my own cat when I was 15, and eventually even landed a job as a zookeeper! About: I've had dogs since I was a kid. My wife works from home, and I've been a stay-at-home dad to our 2 daughters for the past 6 years. They will both be at school this year, and we'd like to host some dogs at our house during the daytime. We have a full acre, fenced in backyard. About: Dogs have been a part of my life for a long time. I grew up surrounded by them, but I was lucky enough to work with them as well. I've worked in a Veterinary Hospital as a Kennel Attendant, as well as volunteered at dog rescues where I helped with rehabilitating dangerous large dogs. I've also worked at a doggie daycare center, where I was responsible for assigning dogs to play groups and monitoring their behavior to ensure their safety. Because of this, I've learned to effectively monitor dog behavior and body language to interpret when they are comfortable, scared, or need to be separated from other dogs. I have experience giving medications and insulin injections, and know how to be careful with older or injured dogs with limited mobility. I'm a stay-at-home mom, so I would be by your dog's side all day. Because of this it can be time for walkies or running around in the fenced yard basically any time doggo needs it. The door to the yard connects to the main living room, so if they want to bounce between being inside and outside it's easy to do so. My son and I also enjoy going for stroller walks around the neighborhood, so doggo gets to tag along with us for that as well to get some sniffs in. I have a fenced in yard for your dog to sprint around, and can take them for walks around the neighborhood. If your pup still gets bored we can take a car ride and go for some walks on nearby nature trails. In my home your pup is welcome to lounge on the furniture with me, and could follow me around throughout the day if they were feeling clingy (like my dog). Dog toys are always scattered around the house, and your pup can help themselves. For boarding, dogs also sleep in the same bedroom as me so they will not be alone overnight. (Exceptions being the dog may sleep in a separate room if they have potty issues, as the bedroom is carpeted.) My standard poodle Eleanor will always be with us, and will occasionally want to play as well. She is typically pretty mellow (after initial meeting) and doesn't run around much, but occasionally she finds a dog she clicks with and will want to play chase with them around the yard if they reciprocate with her. Have an older dog? Don't worry, she is just as happy to lay around with them. ***We do have a baby in the home, which is important to note. Baby is never allowed to touch the guest doggos, and is never left unattended with your dog EVER. We may temporarily keep baby and dog separated in different rooms via a baby gate if the baby is crawling around as we get to know your dog and their reaction to the baby. I am very diligent when it comes to ensuring the safety and comfort of your dog while in the same house with a baby, and their interactions will be monitored and in most cases limited. If you know your dog is reactive to small children, please kindly understand our family home is not a good fit for them.

About: I’ve taken care of my own animals, dogs and cats, for 10 years. I’ve also taken care of animals for family and friends. I’ve administered medication and fed them a special diet on a timely routine. I’m currently a teacher on summer break so I have a lot of free time. I’m an animal lover so the is the best way to fill my time! I have a fenced in yard. my own animals are 2 small dogs about 10-12 pounds. About: I grew up around animals. I have taken care of my own dogs, cats, rabbits and fish throughout my life. I have also taken care of friends pets when they’ve gone out of town. About: Dogs have been a part of my family since childhood. My sweet dog, June, passed at the age of 15 last year. I have a loving home, great yard, and daily walks to share! I have experience with small to large dogs, including rescues and puppies. I work from home several days a week, and have open weekend availability to give your pet love and support while you are away. I walk everyday, even when not hosting a pet. My home is accustomed to the routine and flow of having a dog in the family, so your pet will be loved and cared for like family while you are away! I have a large yard, with very quiet neighbors around me. It’s a very peaceful, open place for animals. My previous dog loved chasing the squirrels and groundhogs! It has never been fenced because I preferred to be outside when the dog was outside, and walks are my preference. Your dog will be leashed and accompanied for safety and support, whenever I venture outside. I can crate your pet if that provides security. I have a comfy, quiet home with a large front window for watching neighbors go by, if your pet loves to lay and watch the street.
