About: I'm an enthusiastic dog walker and sitter that has a passion for dogs and rescuing them. I have been involved in dog rescue and fostering in the Syracuse area for a number of years. I've cared for a number of my own dogs and cats from young to seniors. I've also been a foster parent to a number of dogs when rescues needed someone. I can handle the most challenging of dogs down to little babies and everything in between. Your dog will get plenty of love and attention when I'm around! I give all dogs the same love and affection I would give my own dog and see the importance of cuddle and buddy time along with good exercise. I show confidence when I'm with a dog so that they know there is trust with me from the beginning. I currently work part time, so have plenty of time to spend with your fur baby. I am always available after 3:00 p.m. during the week, before 8:00 a.m. or anytime on the weekends. I've got a very pet friendly home. I live in a single story, ranch house that has a fully fenced back yard. I do not have children at home that we would need to worry about and I'm very respectful if needed to go into a client's home. I worked at dog daycares, was a kennel tech at Petland and have years of animal sitting experience including dogs, cats, horses, goats, chickens etc. I had a husky mix most recently for 8 years before she passed. ***dog must be okay with children*** I currently work evenings and am available most mornings/ days/ and late evening. Although I do not have a fully fenced in backyard, we do have a backyard, tons of parks around us, hiking trails and enclosed baseball fields. I allow doggos on my furniture and bed. I work evenings and typically 4-5 hour shifts. I usually take the dogs for a long walk or to the park prior to me going to work to make sure they’re tired/sleeping rather than bored while I’m away. I can also accommodate crating if needed. There’s a fenced in ball park down the street with plenty of side walks for walks. I allow animals on furniture and have plenty of blankets to keep them cozy.

“Arya was wonderful with our Dia. He kept us updated each day which gave us peace of mind that our Dia was taken care of. He regularly walked her and was as some would say a doggie whisperer as she doesn’t like many people but took to Arya right away. This is our first time ever using a service of this sort to provide alternative options for boarding. Amanda went far beyond to accommodate our needs, and did more than required, or what we had agreed.
