About: I have been taking care of animals for as long as I can remember and have been pet-sitting since age 10 for family, friends, and neighbors. I have almost always lived with at least one cat or dog (or both!) throughout my life. I also have experience caring for rabbits, ferrets, gerbils, fish, parakeets, bearded dragons, and cockatiels. I currently live with two indoor tortoiseshell cats who are comfortable with dogs, and one of my cats is leash-trained. I have raised and trained at least 11 dogs from puppies to adulthood (3 as my own and the others for my parents). Most of my cats I adopted as teenagers, but I have raised a few kittens from a young age. I have done extensive dog training with the 3 dogs I raised as my own in the past, and I am familiar with both dog and cat training techniques. I live in a cabin the woods in Boston, NY, on a power line gravel road. Although I do not have a fenced in back yard, your dog will enjoy going on leashed walks down the power line road multiple times per day! I earn a living through a mix of substitute teaching (summer starts June 25th!), remote research and writing gigs, tutoring, child care, and pet care. I have a flexible schedule and incorporate pet care into the mix as much as possible because I love animals. If I am boarding a dog at my home, I will not be house sitting at that time (and vice versa). While boarding or house sitting, I will consider dog walking and drop-ins depending on the needs of the client and driving distance. If you board your dog at my home, my cats and I wake up early (about 6am) and I like to go outside for a walk down the power line road right away, and then eat breakfast. Your dog will be able to spend time with me all day (on a leash when we are outside), and if I need to leave my house, they will be in their crate for no more than 4 hours (2 is my strong preference). We will go for at least one more walk before dinner, too. I will be sure to give them plenty of play time and exercise throughout the day (depending on their level of activity and how hot it is outside). No matter what, they will get a lot of love and attention! I live in a cabin in the woods in the Town of Boston, NY, so although I do not have a fenced-in yard, there is very little traffic or people around. I will be able to go on long leashed walks with your dog down the power line for exercise, and there are a few friendly neighbor dogs that would love to say hello if your dog is up for that. I do live with two cats: one of them will hide a lot while your dog is here, but the other is very dog-friendly and will want to interact with your dog. I will monitor and separate them as needed (I have a spare room). I have always crate-trained my dogs and so long as your dog is comfortable in their crate, I will use it as a safe place for them to be while they are staying with me.

About: I’ve taken care of all sorts of dogs since I was a young child. Neighbors, family and friends have all asked me to pet sit! I now have a 2 year old rescue name Genny! She is very sweet, a big girl at 95lbs but extremely submissive in all situations! She would love a play mate and extra walks! Work from home M-F. On my lunch we always take a walk usually about 2 miles and Genny get plenty of potty breaks and outdoors time! About: Albeit having no years of 'professional' caring, I have been a dog and cat mom all of my life. Since I was born my family has had 2-3 dogs and 5-6 cats at a time on our farm, and I raised, trained and took care of all of them myself since my parents were not too big on animals. The sole reason we had so many is because we lived on a farm and I adored them. Every year of my life I have cared for at least one animal or another, ever since I was in grade school. For cats and dogs alike, I myself used to bathe them, feed them, groom them and take them to the vet if they were sick. About: I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life. I’m known as the “animal whisperer”. All animals seem to love me, and everyone can see that. I do this as my actual job, so I’ll be home all day with your pets. I will treat them as if they’re my own animals. They’ll get some one on one time, long walks, play time, cuddle time, snacks (like peanut butter), and so much more. People call my home the “pet’s paradise”.

About: Hi there! My name is Kayla and I have been a dog lover since I got my first dog at 7 years old. I grew up with a Golden Retriever (Jeter), when he passed I was devastated, but knew I could not live without a dog in my life. I got a mini golden doodle (Rylee) who is currently 4 years old. I also ended up adopting a heeler/dachshund mix (Mavis) who is 7 months old. I have experience working with all different sized animals of all ages. I took care of my senior dog, assisting him with a broken leg and have experience with puppies and training. Pets are family and I know how important it is to find a caring and loving individual to be with your pet, let me be that person for you! I am currently a school counselor with many days off during the summer and breaks. I am able to board your furry friend on weekends and during days off! I am available every day for dog walks after 3:30pm. With my love for animals, I will ensure endless cuddles and playtime for your pet. I live on 3 acres of land with enough space for your pet to run and play. Right up the road is my mother’s house who lives on 60 acres of land and a pond if your dog likes to swim where I can take them to anytime! If your dog is crate training or trained, I would love to set that up for you.
