About: (Saying up front that I am not comfortable using a prong collar, so if that’s something you use on your dog, I don’t believe I’m a right fit for the service you want. Please don’t invite me to your home and surprise me with a prong collar—I will not use it on your dog.) Now here’s my bio: No dog deserves the kennel! Why settle for the pound when they can spend a night in a home with an owner-on-loan; either in your house on in a house that has raised two other pets from puppyhood to old age? Admittedly, there are stairs and hardwood floors in my house, but I have bought several carpets for my old dog to move around on and can lay them down for your dog’s convenience. We also have a big backyard that your dog will love to run around in (and no predators, unless you count woodchucks and geese) and a long leash that can go all the way to the end of the property line. I love dogs and after a day with me, your furry friend will mistake me for his mother. I’m most busy Wednesdays-Thursdays, so I marked them out on the calendar, but if petsitting is required for several days, that is easy to accommodate! I also don’t mind waking up every few hours to take a dog out—I have not quite reached the age where sleep is important. I won’t allow your dog to roam around outside unleashed (sorry, but I don’t want to lose them!), but when they’re outside, I’ll make sure they have the freedom to run around to their heart’s content. Additionally, I’m willing to walk them in any weather they’ll put up with and even let them sleep on the couch/spare bed, if they’re not too dirty.

“Geoff is one of the very few people I will trust with Pepper & Daisy. The first time we used him we had such a good experience. We booked him for this past 4th of July long weekend. It told my husband to watch the dog’s reaction when they saw Geoff again. He said they both were very excited & happy to see him. Geoff spends time with the dogs walking & cuddling, sends updates, photos & videos. He is considerate of their specific needs & lets us know how he’s accommodating them. I highly recommend his services & will absolutely use him again when the need arises.”
