“Holy cow! Thanks Tim and Kathy! They took such great care of our 2 dogs for 2 weeks. So flexible on meet and greet, drop off and pick up times. Our high energy boxer is wore out, super unusual. And our high maintenance older pointer mix is just as peaceful as ever, his respiratory issue was taken care of well and that's a lot to keep up with. I can't say enough how much my wife and I appreciate the care they gave them. The fenced in yard with a good wood pile, walks, and pictures gave us peace of mind the whole time. We will book again with them anytime we need to and they're available.”

About: Like many others, I am a dog lover and was raised taking care of family dogs. Unlike others, that passion led to training and classes, competing in dog sports, and now, competing in dog shows. I have experience with many breeds of all sizes, senior pet care, reactive dog care and training. I would love to help you with your pet care needs! I work from home, so my schedule is very flexible and I can accommodate most dogs’ needs. I currently have open availability for boarding, daycare, walks, and drop in visits. Dogs are treated like one of my own! I take your dog out for leashed potty breaks several times a day, according to their needs. While I am working, your dog can settle on the couch or one of the many dog beds, or relax and play with my dogs (a Golden Retriever and a Foxhound). If your dog likes the crate, I have an extra for them. When I run errands, your dog will be crated or gated in a separate room from my dogs for safety. I live on 4 acres next and next to a cemetery, so I can take your dog for relaxing walks in a peaceful environment.

About: I have taken care of dogs since I was 11 years old. It started with my family dog, along with family members dogs. I would walk them and feed them. I then got my own dogs that I do all care for. I started fostering with a local rescue in 2022. I’ve cared for dogs with medical issues. Anywhere from Seizure disorders, parasites and other various medical issues. I treat every dog that I care for as if they’re my own. I currently work full time, M-F 730a-330p. I am able to check in, walk, feed, etc, dogs before work, during my lunch and after work. I have 2 dogs of my own. We live in a 3 bedroom house. Unfortunately, I don’t have a fenced in yard. I do take my dogs on multiple walks everyday along with utilizing a tie out (if they want to stay out longer), and would do the same with yours, so they get some outside time.

“Carol was absolutely incredible. My little dog Munchkin is a momma’s boy who really struggles being away from me. But with Carol he settled in and was eating, playing, and relaxing. She sent pictures and updates each day to let me know how he was doing and that really put my mind at ease since I’ve never used Rover or left Munchkin with anyone outside of family before. Munchkin is a cavapoo, so his fur can get tangled pretty easily as well but Carol brushed him every day and he came home tangle-free which really shows the care she puts into the dogs she boards. She made sure he was well cared for and loved, and I 100% recommend her for anyone wanting to board their dog and will definitely book with her in the future. She even had me fill out additional info regarding Munchkin just so she knew more about him and the best way to care for him while I was away. “We had an exceptional experience boarding our 15 year old dog with Ellen and John for a two week stay. Due to his age, our dog is deaf and requires to go outside quite frequently. They were very accommodating to his individual needs. The communication was excellent. We received daily photo and text updates on how he was doing. About: My experience with animals but more cats than anything but I have grand puppies that I love and have taken care of. I have had them overnight and have gone to their house out my personal schedule to let outside, to feed and love. I have two cats that is not just pets but are like mine and my wife's kids. Kiki is 13 year old female and she is very active and loveable at times. Max is our 18lb baby who is a clown and very active. My grand puppies are two Huskys, a black lab and two mix breed dogs who I have partially help raise. All in all I love these animals as family members. I would do the same for yours. My schedule is flexible. I have another job where I shop and certain days of the week is slow. This would be perfect to fill the slow times from my other job Well our two cats are very much loved. I stay because it is good for your pets too and I don't want to drive to your home everytime I feed your pet. I save you time by not having to drive to the dogggy/pet hotel. About a year ago, Casper and I moved in with my partner Victor and his 2 cats, Jewel & Scarlett, in Rushville, New York. Initially, we were nervous about introducing them so we started slow by keeping them in separate rooms with a gate. Once they became more comfortable and curious about each other (more on the cats end), we took the gate down after a couple days. It was a seamless living transition if there ever was one. Now all 3 love hanging out on the play mat together with their toys or taking naps nearby each other. We're looking for more furry friends to keep them company and to nap together! Our house is quite spacious with a large open living and family room for lots of play time and nap time. We have plenty of treats and running water fountain for dogs and cats. Our house has a huge front & backyard (not fenced) to run around on leash. When it snows, we love making dog trails around our property because what dog doesn't love to run in the snow! And I'm very experienced in putting on dog boots if needed. Lastly, we are a 15-20 minute walk to Canandaigua Lake, and live 3 minutes from Bare Hill. Currently, Victor and I are started a small business that will be launching this Spring. We work from home Monday-Friday and make our own hours so we are flexible. And I'm available on the weekends and any last minute bookings. Before any booking, I would like to set up a Meet & Greet to learn what I need to best care for your fur baby(ies) and to make sure Casper and your dog(s) get along (Doggy Day Care). The dates I'm currently unavailable are July 8-24, 2022 and Sept 1-5, 2022. My Home: spacious living and family rooms for dogs to run around, a play mat area with toys, and plenty of space to bring your dog's bed so he/she feels comfortable and at home. We have plenty of treats and running water fountain for both dogs and cats. Outside, we have a huge front and backyard, although it is not fenced, still a lot of space to run around on leash. And if your dog loves to run, he/she is welcomed to join our running pack. We're a 15-20 min walk to Canandaigua Lake, and a 3 minute drive to Bare Hill Unique Area. Your Home: I will request a Meet & Greet before booking, and would like to do an initial house visit to learn where the pet food, toys and cleaning supplies are located. Along with learning if your pet has any special needs like medication. I will be a respectful guest in your home and make sure your fur baby(ies) are loved and cared for while you are away.
“Alexander was super kind. Our dog seemed very happy after arriving at his place. When we met at the end of the day , she was happy to see us, but a bit of a sad glance back as we left Alexander. Two things to note: actually lives closer to Watkins Glen than the address on profile (as of July 25th, perhaps it's been updated). There is no fence on the property, but the driveway is long with trees and is removed from the road which isn't super busy. Our dog gets distracted by squirrels, etc. So we left him with a long lead for her and she was very safe on the property. Bonus: she is now napping. Generally a sign of a fun time.”

About: I have been caring for dogs since I was 13. I walk mine and my sisters dogs frequently. I have done overnights with dogs. I let dogs out during the day and feed them for meal times. I am a nursing student at Hartwick college and can easily work about my schedule to take care of pets. I am unavailable on Thursdays, but every other day works depending on my schedule. In my clients home I use any equipment that they recommend and use. I have taken dogs for rides in my car and roll the windows down for them to see out.
“Aracely let out and fed my puppy midday for 2 months until the end of my school year. She took great care of my little guy. There were two times that she canceled morning of and, with that late notice, I was not able to leave work or get anyone else to take him out. About: My experience with animals but more cats than anything but I have grand puppies that I love and have taken care of. I have had them overnight and have gone to their house out my personal schedule to let outside, to feed and love. I have two cats that is not just pets but are like mine and my wife's kids. About: I always loved having pets growing up. I grew up in the country so we had a lot of space for animals to be able to run around and be outside. Dogs, cats, birds...practically every creature you can imagine. Currently I have a cat of my own, and a friend’s dog who I watch fairly regularly. About: I've only looked after our family friend's 2 dogs Skully and Hanna for 2 separate weeks, but it made me want to get a dog myself even more. My first time dog sitting with 2 pups was a success, and it was honestly really fun getting them each a pup cup from Starbucks one of the days, and spoiling them with treats and fruits safe for dogs like blueberries and mangoes. Hanging out with them in general was also a blast. This is something I'm really looking forward to doing in the future. I'm working full time for fairport schools starting this Monday, but should be available in the mornings and after school, which ends at 2:40. I'm also a musician and I have gigs from time to time in Rochester, but it's nothing I can't work my schedule around. The last time I dog sat, the routine went like this: Get up at 7:30 to let the dogs out, then feed them the 1.5 cups each of dog food, let them out to go potty again. Then we would hang out, rest, or start the day until about 2 when we would go on a big walk either throughout the block or to a path on the canal. After that, we would go back again and hang out until about 5:30 when I would let them out, feed them, and let them out again. Then, I would let them out once more for the night before bed. That schedule basically repeated, then I also did some cool extraneous things with them like watching the show about the dog from "Up" on Disney Plus, throwing them sticks and a ball to play fetch with outside, letting them sleep on the beds if the owner says they can, feeding them treats, etc. Also made sure I cleaned up and left the clients home looking exactly how it was when I got there. I like to Febreeze too for some reason to make the house smell good. Looking forward to doing more of this.

And our high maintenance older pointer mix is just as peaceful as ever, his respiratory issue was taken care of well and that's a lot to keep up with. I can't say enough how much my wife and I appreciate the care they gave them. The fenced in yard with a good wood pile, walks, and pictures gave us peace of mind the whole time. About: I have taken care of dogs since I was 11 years old. It started with my family dog, along with family members dogs. I would walk them and feed them. I then got my own dogs that I do all care for. I started fostering with a local rescue in 2022. I’ve cared for dogs with medical issues. About: Fun fact: I began dog walking/sitting at just the age of 15 in Los Angeles, where I’m originally from. The old school way: pinning flyers around my neighborhood. My first client: a Great Dane as big as me. We soon became best friends. I am attentive and adapt easily to all sorts of pets — I know when it’s time to play, time to eat, and time to mellow out. I ensure all fur babies never feel like they are alone ~ In some way, we exchange. Whether it be through conversation, music, toy time, cuddles, and more. One of my proudest moments: An extremely shy black cat who rarely allows to be touched, laid on my tummy and napped for a couple of hours, at the third sitting call. I’m currently transitioning jobs (completely remote) and have ample free time to tap into all of my side gigs. Essentially, I am super flexible at this point in time. I, naturally, am active and will take long walks daily - and I’m sure your dog does too! If your dog enjoys running, we can do that together as well! As for cats, I love cuddles and purrs - my touch is soft, and I know cat play. I am naturally very observant and detail-oriented - meaning I will adapt according to your fur baby’s comfort level, preferences, and passions. Should your pet require a smaller, enclosed space, I will pick up on that! I am attentive to needs and ensuring water is filled up, and bellies are full when the time comes. I am also aware of keeping things out of reach when I am not around.
