About: Hi I'm April and I am ready to sit your pet. I have had pets all my life and my own dogs for more than 20 years. I have 4 pets -2 dogs and 2 cats - whom get along with each other and other dogs. My large yard is fenced in and is perfect for playing fetch. I care for my children's dogs when the come to town. But Mindy was wonderful and allowed us to come for a 'meet and greet' when we arrived in town the day before our booking. My aunt was still nervous about leaving her the next day because Sassy, being a Maltipoo, has separation anxiety. But Mindy knew taking Sassy for a walk right after we left would be a good distraction. She was also wonderful about sending pictures and videos especially that first day and that made us feel better about leaving her. By the second day Sassy was comfortable going straight to Mindy when we arrived. Also, she was very flexible regarding drop off and pick up times.”

About: I have raised two dogs (one large bread and one small bread) both from puppy to 16 & 17yrs old. I have had three cats (one still residing with me). Currently I dog sit two fur babies since 2020. In a week I am losing one of my buddies due to his parents relocating. I am already missing him and am hoping to make some new walking and cuddling partners. I work part time on weekends but can sit with advanced notice. Monday til Wednesday I am available for anytime on shorter notice. When I have your furry sweetheart I do not leave them by themselves at all,so I like to schedule when there is nothing to conflict with the time I have them. When in my house they have no restrictions from me, only what the parent wants. I have an outside bathroom area on leash for quick bathroom trips. I like to go for at least one or two long walks per day, weather permitting and your dogs abilities. I live in a walkable neighborhood and close to parks. During my junior and senior years of high school, I attended Harkness BOCES for Animal Science, where I gained hands-on experience in grooming, safe handling and restraint, CPR, medication administration, and understanding animal behavior, along with many other essential skills. I’m currently continuing my education in animal health and behavior to build a career dedicated to caring for animals and being their voice. I’m comfortable administering medications as needed and have experience working with pets of all ages, sizes, and breeds. Whether your pet needs extra patience, playtime, or specialized care, I’m here to provide a safe, loving, and attentive environment. I'm currently a full-time student so my schedule is very flexible and I'm more than willing to easily fit pet care into my weekly routine. I take the safety and boundaries of the pets and clients very seriously. I will follow any safety procedures the owner may have for me. Whether that may be crating their animal at night time, keeping them close on their leash during walks, watching them play in the backyard, anything that is expected will be done.

About: I’ve grown up with dogs most of my life. I currently help my parents with their two dogs and have pet sat for many family friends throughout the years. About: Dogs have been a part of my family since childhood. My sweet dog, June, passed at the age of 15 last year. I have a loving home, great yard, and daily walks to share! I have experience with small to large dogs, including rescues and puppies. I work from home several days a week, and have open weekend availability to give your pet love and support while you are away. I walk everyday, even when not hosting a pet. My home is accustomed to the routine and flow of having a dog in the family, so your pet will be loved and cared for like family while you are away! I have a large yard, with very quiet neighbors around me. It’s a very peaceful, open place for animals. My previous dog loved chasing the squirrels and groundhogs! It has never been fenced because I preferred to be outside when the dog was outside, and walks are my preference. Your dog will be leashed and accompanied for safety and support, whenever I venture outside. I can crate your pet if that provides security. I have a comfy, quiet home with a large front window for watching neighbors go by, if your pet loves to lay and watch the street.
