“Bob took such wonderful care of our pup over our wedding weekend! Our dog had such a good time and Bob even gave us updates (per our request ☺️). Thank you so much, Bob!!”

“First of all you have to be a dog person to be a great dog sitter. Kristen and Mark are just remarkable dog people! Kristen reminds me of Cesar! Very thoughtful in their approach to care. They have a wonderful safe environment with company and play and a place for calm respite. Kristen got my girl to eat on the first night away! That never happens. Thank you for the all the kind attention and videos! Really hope to pass this way again !”

“Nova and Frank had a blast at Sarah and Aaron's! We met for a meet and greet the week before, and it went great! They have a huge unfenced yard for our e-collar trained pups to run around in. We got plenty of photos of their fetch sessions. We would absolutely have them back there again.”

“Simon watched our little pup while we went away for the weekend. The two of them became fast buddies and we were grateful to know our little guy was with someone he was so comfortable with.”

About: I grew up with all different types of animals my whole life. I have been a dog mom for 13 years. I am great at walking dogs who have aggression towards other dogs, I know how to find a calm route to take and distract them before conflict arises! I recently lost my 90 lb alapaha blue blood bulldog mix to a terminal illness and am looking forward to spending time with other people's dogs. I am a self employed artist, volunteer, and executive director of a free store that I physically staff on Saturdays, so I have a very flexible schedule. I will care for pets in your home with so much attentiveness and love! Just give me a set of instructions and I am happy to hang out :)
About: I only host one pet at a time (unless they are from the same household) and when a pet guest is present they receive my undivided attention. I have been a pet mom consistently for over 20 years and self-employed for 10 which allows me the greatest gift of being with my precious critters 24/7. After losing a furry family member to cancer in early 2026, I decided that the best way to fill the huge hole in my heart was by becoming an extra-attentive and compassionate fill-in for pet parents who need temporary loving care for their beloved animals. My highest priority is to ensure a happy, healthy and safe environment (with lots of affection!) while your animal is in my care. I've had the joy of parenting a handful of senior and special needs pets over the years, and they are the nearest and dearest to my heart and soul. All reasonable requests in caring for these sweet creatures will be honored at no extra cost, including special feeding requirements, administering medications (no injections), a dedicated private bedroom for convalescing and peaceful quiet time, etc. I promise to handle all of your concerns with the utmost care and attention and treat your animal just as I would my own. I am self-employed part-time as a vacation home host which allows me the opportunity to work remotely. When pet guests are present, my time will be spent alongside your fur baby with the possible exception of a quick errand, email or a vacation home check if the stay is mid-week. The home is a cute and spacious two story, 3-bedroom Greek Revival cottage on 3 lush acres with walking trails and creek access in Delancey, NY. There are two 2-legged and one 4-legged family members for all this space, and we would love to share it with your pets. I am pet mom to a 6-year-old friendly, quirky, neutered ACD named Lou. Your pampered pets can be kept separate from Lou, and cats are offered their own exclusive area on the second floor, if necessary. Dogs are welcome to roam and to sleep anywhere in the pet-proof downstairs or in their own crate, if preferred. Guests have their choice of a raised bed with squishy blanket, an open crate with cozy poof, or the couches downstairs for overnight stays. This is a cozy, cuddly, "pets in bed" kind of household, so arrangements can be made for Lou to sleep with my hubby, and pet guests can snuggle up with me overnight, if that's what is best for your pet. While Lou is perfectly adjusted to life with cats, visiting kitties can have their own sunny bedroom, spacious bathroom with litter box, and private time upstairs.

“Thank you very much to Stephanie and her family for taking good care of Ozzy and for keeping us updated with photos during his stay. He has come back to us happy and healthy!”
“Jenny was great! She was very easy to communicate with and flexible about the times and last minute booking. She sends a lot of pictures so you can see that your dog is having a nice trip. I would definitely recommend her!”

“Sophia was lovely! We felt very comfortable leaving Bernie with her, and confident that she was in good hands. Sophia gave frequent updates, was easy to communicate with, and helpful throughout the planning and drop-off/pickup. Bernie had a fabulous vaycay, thank you!!!”

“Jennifer was absolutely fantastic! Great communication throughout, sent pictures and a little summary every day. Definitely the most comfortable I’ve ever felt leaving our dog with someone for a longer period of time.”

“We left our dog with Brittany while we went on vacation. She was very sweet and responsive and sent pictures while we were away! Definitely made me feel better about having to leave our dog behind.”

“Kayte was amazing!!! My dog has anxiety, but he felt right at home with Kayte. They even went on a 5-mile walk that I’ll now have to live up to haha. She sent pics daily and Onyx always looked so happy and safe. I’ll definitely be using Kayte again!!!”

“Sarah was my first experience with Rover and Rex's first time staying with a sitter. After meeting Sarah the day before, Rex was immediately drawn to her. Her compassion and experience with dogs was evident from the start. She was very communicative and kept us in the loop with photos and updates throughout Rex's stay. Honestly can't say enough good things about her and how much she eased my nerves throughout this process. The next time I'm in need of a sitter, Sarah will be Rex and I's first choice. Highly recommend!”

About: I grew up in a cat household and became a dog mom as soon as I left home. I absolutely love all of the cats and dogs I’ve been fortunate enough to meet in this life. I am very familiar with the range of needs a dog will have throughout life, from teething to play to mobility assistance. I'm fully available in the winter as my regular job (gardening) is seasonal and won't be picking up again until later in the spring time. I can be flexible to your pets needs and more than happy to follow any directions you provide me with for their optimal care and contentment.

About: Had a deep soul connection with my cat Marbles for 15 years 🖤🐈⬛🌹 I enjoy showing animals comfort and care. Not afraid to get down on the ground and play either :) I’m an intuitive and allow animals their space and time to enjoy nature. I prefer not to rush them but can stay on schedule if need be. Please book a drop-in visit if you’d like an in-person meet and greet. I prefer not to be around cigarettes, vape, artificial scents and harsh chemicals (detergents, dryer sheets, perfumes, candles, air fresheners, harsh chemicals, etc.) These are not healthy for us or our beloved animals ✌️🐾♥️). *Important* my house is temporarily limited at the moment, so for daycare services, I’d prefer to entertain your dog (or cat on a leash) around town, hang out at the lodge or go for a long walk or hike rather than back to my place. If this is an issue, please message me before booking. When messaging please include a “💚” so I know you read this. Thank you! Additionally, please message me if you would like to discuss rates. Thank you 🥰♥️🤗 I’m pretty flexible at the moment; albeit a tad busy also. I do have one other dog that I walk morning and night but we can work around that. If it is an emergency I could probably work something out for home care but right now I’m primarily caring for animals around their own home and neighborhood.

“From start to finish, Bryson was the perfect house sitter. He made sure he knew all the important details about care for our cat Obi in advance and was communicative before, during and after the time he house sat. I wouldn't hesitate to have him come back in the future, and would recommend him to anyone looking for a trustworthy caretaker of their animal(s).”

“Lindsay was fantastic. She sent great pictures and even left the cats a special treat. You can tell she loves animals and takes her role as caregiver seriously. Would use her again!”

“Alexa took great care of our cats. She was easy to communicate with, and we could tell that the cats were happy when we got back and hadn’t been lonely. I would use her services again and recommend to others.”

“Elizabeth performed brilliantly -- she completed all requests without fail and provided plenty of photographic and written responses. She was timely in arranging service initially. And she managed the visits and house key drop-off well. We appreciated her willingness to commit to providing care with short notice. Thanks!”

“Amy was a wonderful sitter for our animals. We are so thankful for her help. She was very good at communicating with us while we were away so we knew everything was well at home.”

About: I’ve been caring for animals my entire life—whether it’s been my own pets, helping out friends, or rescuing strays in need. Both of my cats were rescued by me, and I’ve always had a natural connection with animals. They’re drawn to me, and I love giving them the same trust and affection they show me. I grew up with big dogs, including two pit bulls and a boxer, so I’m confident and comfortable handling larger breeds. Over the years, I’ve potty trained dogs, taught tricks, and cared for pets with all kinds of temperaments. My experience goes beyond cats and dogs—I’ve also cared for frogs, snakes, turtles, and even had the incredible opportunity to volunteer with elephants in Thailand. My love for animals runs so deep that I’ve been vegan for over a decade. Caring for animals isn’t just something I do—it’s truly part of who I am. What I Offer 🐾 A 100% open and flexible schedule—your pets will always get the time, love, and attention they deserve. 🐾 Experience with animals of all sizes, temperaments, and special needs. 🐾 Patience, playfulness, and genuine compassion for every pet I meet. Whether it’s cuddles, walks, playtime, or extra TLC, I’ll treat your fur babies like they’re my own. I have a completely open and flexible schedule, available any day and time. Since I mostly work from home, I can easily accommodate bookings, cancellations, last-minute changes, and special requests. The only exception is occasional weekend evenings after 5 PM, when I work at The Colony in Woodstock. Other than that, I’m always here for you and your pets! I live in a spacious three-bedroom, 2 story home with a large open yard, perfect for pets to play and explore. Your furry friend will have plenty of room to stretch, run, and enjoy the outdoors while getting all the exercise and fresh air they need to stay happy and healthy.
“This is the second time Sophie has cared for our two cats, and she’s been wonderful each time. She gives them so much love and playtime, and keeps us updated regularly, which we really appreciate. It’s such a comfort knowing they’re in good hands while we’re away. They were happy and content when we got back.”

Perfect for high energy dogs - Denver

“Bob and Debbie are the best. Our doggo can be nervous around strangers but they knew exactly how to ingratiate themselves to her, and even gave us great tips on how to socialize her. If I were a dog I would want to be in their care. Heck, I’m a grown adult and I want to be in their care. I will definitely book them again.”

“Willow was super tired and had a great time. Kirsten and Mark knew just how to handle our high-anxiety dog. Their property is like Disney Land for dogs! Tons of space and places to explore and run around in safely. Their dogs are super friendly and welcomed Willow into their pack easily. We recommend Kirsten and Mark highly!”

“Communication with Amy and Chris was smooth and easy. They're both very caring, and Boo had a good day with Chris. I will say that given Boo's energy level -- he's a hunting-dog mutt who loves to run --he's probably better off where there's a fenced yard or an opportunity for long walks...but this is no reflection on Amy and Chris. It was our choice to give them a try.”

“5 STAR! ? Just a pleasure. She took me at the last minute. Communicated wonderfully. Sent me pictures and videos. Honestly the best rover experience I’ve had! My dog had a blast and came ready to sleep after a fun filled day.”

“Jenny was great and took my two pups for the day! They came back tried and happy. Her resident dogs were great hosts to my nervous pup, and he came home with new friends, a big victory for him. Good communication from Jenny from start to finish.”

About: I've always loved spending time with dogs since I was a kid. Raising and training Remy, a Vizsla male with unlimited energy (who is now 5), has fast tracked my dog care experience. I absolutely love it. A few years ago, I started caring for dogs over Rover. It's been a wonderful experience for us, and I've especially enjoyed learning how to communicate with dogs of all shapes, sizes, ages, and personality types. Cats are good people too! For cats I'm happy to provide drop-in services and potentially house sitting if it works with my schedule. I'm not often free for clients at the moment, but would be happy to help as I can on my days off from work. I try to keep my schedule up to date as well as available services. I'm happy to adjust to you and your dog's needs in terms of exercise, exposure to other dogs, and on/off leash comfort levels. I'd love to chat over the phone or by text to figure out if I'd be a good fit for your pets and their needs.

“I am so happy to have found Emily. She clearly loves animals and they seem to like her very much. She is responsible, shows up on time and does a fantastic job. I'm hoping to hire her again, not just for walks, but also for overnight pet sitting. Anyone who loves their pets will be happy -- she is someone who can be trusted!”

“Melissa was great. Our dog loves her. She took us last minute due to us having a family emergency. She asked awesome questions ti understand our dog more. Honestly I don't think he cared that we left Definitely gonna use her again.”

About: I grew up in a cat household and became a dog mom as soon as I left home. I absolutely love all of the cats and dogs I’ve been fortunate enough to meet in this life. I raised my pup, Grumble, from 3 weeks old until she left this world at 11 years old.
