About: I have been taking care of animals for as long as I can remember and have been pet-sitting since age 10 for family, friends, and neighbors. I have almost always lived with at least one cat or dog (or both!) throughout my life. I also have experience caring for rabbits, ferrets, gerbils, fish, parakeets, bearded dragons, and cockatiels. I currently live with two indoor tortoiseshell cats who are comfortable with dogs, and one of my cats is leash-trained. I have raised and trained at least 11 dogs from puppies to adulthood (3 as my own and the others for my parents). Most of my cats I adopted as teenagers, but I have raised a few kittens from a young age. I have done extensive dog training with the 3 dogs I raised as my own in the past, and I am familiar with both dog and cat training techniques. I live in a cabin the woods in Boston, NY, on a power line gravel road. Although I do not have a fenced in back yard, your dog will enjoy going on leashed walks down the power line road multiple times per day! I earn a living through a mix of substitute teaching (summer starts June 25th!), remote research and writing gigs, tutoring, child care, and pet care. I have a flexible schedule and incorporate pet care into the mix as much as possible because I love animals. If I am boarding a dog at my home, I will not be house sitting at that time (and vice versa). While boarding or house sitting, I will consider dog walking and drop-ins depending on the needs of the client and driving distance. If you board your dog at my home, my cats and I wake up early (about 6am) and I like to go outside for a walk down the power line road right away, and then eat breakfast. Your dog will be able to spend time with me all day (on a leash when we are outside), and if I need to leave my house, they will be in their crate for no more than 4 hours (2 is my strong preference). We will go for at least one more walk before dinner, too. I will be sure to give them plenty of play time and exercise throughout the day (depending on their level of activity and how hot it is outside). No matter what, they will get a lot of love and attention! I live in a cabin in the woods in the Town of Boston, NY, so although I do not have a fenced-in yard, there is very little traffic or people around. I will be able to go on long leashed walks with your dog down the power line for exercise, and there are a few friendly neighbor dogs that would love to say hello if your dog is up for that. I do live with two cats: one of them will hide a lot while your dog is here, but the other is very dog-friendly and will want to interact with your dog. I will monitor and separate them as needed (I have a spare room). I have always crate-trained my dogs and so long as your dog is comfortable in their crate, I will use it as a safe place for them to be while they are staying with me.

About: My first formal pet sitting experience was taking out and playing with my uncle’s black lab puppy after school, my senior year of high school. Then, that same year I pet my aunt’s 2 cats in 2016. During the pandemic, for over a year, I stayed at my friend’s house while she was away at work. I would take her precious pup Lala out for walks, give Lala and her cat-sister Sophia their meds with breakfast, and treat them like the princesses they are. I recently left law school, so my availability is completely free until I find a full-time job! I would love to set your mind at ease by visiting your home as often as you’d like! I would care for my clients’ pets the same way I care for my cat-son, Remy. I give him all the attention he desires, and I do the less-than-desireable things (like washing his litterbox monthly, clipping his nails, and brushing his teeth) with a smile because I know it’s what’s best for him.

I moved to Collins in 2024 to a property with 30 acres of mostly wooded land with a dog kennel, cat house and barn! The property has a huge area for dogs to run and play. About: I’ve taken care of cats and dogs, since I was a kid. I understand they are your children. I am comfortable giving oral meds, comfortable learning other routes of medication administration if needed. Currently will only board cats from the same home or young puppies (message for more details) at a time due to other animals in the house. Your fur baby will have their very Owen room with a gate door that is about 6ft tall to keep them safe and comfortable when I am not watching them or letting them out for play time. I will follow your set schedule for feedings and play time. If I am boarding an animal they are my soul focus till pick up time. I offer daily or every other day pictures/video updates of your pet, my phone is always on so you can always reach me about any concerns. I have one cat and two dogs in the house. They will remain separated from your animal at all times for safety and comfort of your beloved pet. All animals in the house are fully vaccinated including kennel cough. I will not accept boarding of unvaccinated cats & dogs for safety.

About: Since our 1st family dog as a child our house has always been filled with furry paws. I have experience with dogs of all sizes from small to large. I am a childcare provider who is working part time. I have lots of free time during the day to care for your special furry friend. I work part time so have lots of free time to get out and go for walks during the day in all types of weather. About: I have had dogs all my life and spent over 20 years as a Pet Groomer both in a shop and mobile. I have had continued education in cat grooming, dog grooming, skin care, etc. I specialized in senior and anxiety dogs. I have had upward of 9 dogs at one time and they did not all get along. I have also owned a diabetic dog. I also have a Reiki background. Currently I am retired from pet grooming and I own another business that is seasonal therefore my schedule is pretty flexible and my availability is pretty open too. I have a small fenced yard in a low traffic community that is good for walks too. I am familiar with crate training and can accommodate that if needed. I also have gates if access needs to be limited to parts of my house. Example, I do have stairs and can block them if pet is unable to do stairs.

Many of the animals I have cared for have had special health-care needs which has given me a deep understanding of how important pets are to a family. I have managed special health-care needs such as caring for a diabetic cat (Cupcake), a cat with FIV (Sylvester), a cat with kidney issues (Socks), and a senior German-Shepherd dog with dementia (Charlie). Because of this, I am incredibly comfortable with complex care routines. I have also regularly provided reliable drop-in vacation visits for friends and family. I am currently working full time within the Village of Angola, but I have time in the afternoons as well as my lunch break to do drop ins and visits. The majority of my availability during the week will be in the afternoon. I do have most weekends available as well. When caring for pets in a client’s home, safety and routine are my top priorities. I strictly follow all feeding, medication, and exercise instructions to keep your pet's schedule consistent. I also document when I complete a task as well as photo proof as requested. I’ve administered medication and fed them a special diet on a timely routine. I’m currently a teacher on summer break so I have a lot of free time. I’m an animal lover so the is the best way to fill my time! I have a fenced in yard. my own animals are 2 small dogs about 10-12 pounds. They will be kept separated during my time with the other animals.
About: Have trained and raised 3 beautiful dogs and have family within the foster and veterinary fields. Having a few pit bulls, have basic obedience and leash walking training..we live super close to the water as well as dog parks and playgrounds and would love to help other pups have a good and safe life:) Or a cozy environment if your fur baby prefers a calm safe space. One of us works from home, mainly nights, so there is always someone around to take care of the precious pup..and our weekends consist of hikes, water adventures, less reactive trails, and movie parties! We have a closed in 3 floor apartment as well as multiple courtyards and doggy parks right around the corner from where we live. We live directly next to a school so a fenced in playground (without other dogs) is also available. We have a large and small sized crate with lots of enrichment treat, toys, galore !

About: I have been taking care of animals for as long as I can remember and have been pet-sitting since age 10 for family, friends, and neighbors. I have almost always lived with at least one cat or dog (or both!) throughout my life. I also have experience caring for rabbits, ferrets, gerbils, fish, parakeets, bearded dragons, and cockatiels. I currently live with two indoor tortoiseshell cats who are comfortable with dogs, and one of my cats is leash-trained. I have raised and trained at least 11 dogs from puppies to adulthood (3 as my own and the others for my parents). Most of my cats I adopted as teenagers, but I have raised a few kittens from a young age. I have done extensive dog training with the 3 dogs I raised as my own in the past, and I am familiar with both dog and cat training techniques. I live in a cabin the woods in Boston, NY, on a power line gravel road. Although I do not have a fenced in back yard, your dog will enjoy going on leashed walks down the power line road multiple times per day! I earn a living through a mix of substitute teaching (summer starts June 25th!), remote research and writing gigs, tutoring, child care, and pet care. I have a flexible schedule and incorporate pet care into the mix as much as possible because I love animals. If I am boarding a dog at my home, I will not be house sitting at that time (and vice versa). While boarding or house sitting, I will consider dog walking and drop-ins depending on the needs of the client and driving distance. If you board your dog at my home, my cats and I wake up early (about 6am) and I like to go outside for a walk down the power line road right away, and then eat breakfast. Your dog will be able to spend time with me all day (on a leash when we are outside), and if I need to leave my house, they will be in their crate for no more than 4 hours (2 is my strong preference). We will go for at least one more walk before dinner, too. I will be sure to give them plenty of play time and exercise throughout the day (depending on their level of activity and how hot it is outside). No matter what, they will get a lot of love and attention! I live in a cabin in the woods in the Town of Boston, NY, so although I do not have a fenced-in yard, there is very little traffic or people around. I will be able to go on long leashed walks with your dog down the power line for exercise, and there are a few friendly neighbor dogs that would love to say hello if your dog is up for that. I do live with two cats: one of them will hide a lot while your dog is here, but the other is very dog-friendly and will want to interact with your dog. I will monitor and separate them as needed (I have a spare room). I have always crate-trained my dogs and so long as your dog is comfortable in their crate, I will use it as a safe place for them to be while they are staying with me.
