“As all true dog lovers know, a dog is not just a pet, it is a member of the family. As such, I am very cautious about where and who I leave my dog with. As we had never had to leave our Violet with anyone, my wife and I were very worried when we had to leave our girl for almost 2 weeks. We did not feel comfortable boarding her at a kennel as we didn’t think she would respond well to that environment. So, we went to Rover to see if we could find someone we thought would be a good fit for our Violet. After reading multiple write ups on various Rover sitters, we found Erika who we thought looked like a good fit and was close to our home. At our meet and greet with Erika, my wife and I had perfect peace as we met with Erika and saw the home where Violet would be staying. Erika had a warm and inviting home, a fenced in backyard, and the perfect playmate, ( her dog Huxley) for our girl Violet. My wife and I decided immediately that this home and sitter would be the perfect fit for Violet. We were not disappointed! Erika loved our Violet as much as she loved her own dog and showered her with love and affection. She sent us daily pictures and videos of Violet and her dog playing, napping, and just having a wonderful time. She was having so much fun. We jokingly, worried that Violet wouldn’t want to come home with us after spending time with Erika. Ha Ha. In summary, any dog would be lucky to spend time with Erika. She is an amazing person and we were so happy we found her. This app only let me put in a rating of 5 stars, but if I could have, I would have put in 10 or more stars in rating her performance. We would definitely use Erika again in the future, if and when we needed to board our Violet. My only worry is that after reading my review of Erika, everyone will want to board with her and I won’t be able to have my Violet stay with her when I next need her. Ha ha.”

About: I have helped work with rescues due to my older sister, I have fostered dogs, I have two of my own, as well as help take care of all (5) of my sisters dogs along with my parents and occasionally friends and coworkers dogs. About: I have raised two dogs (one large bread and one small bread) both from puppy to 16 & 17yrs old. I have had three cats (one still residing with me). Currently I dog sit two fur babies since 2020. In a week I am losing one of my buddies due to his parents relocating. I am already missing him and am hoping to make some new walking and cuddling partners. I work part time on weekends but can sit with advanced notice. Monday til Wednesday I am available for anytime on shorter notice. When I have your furry sweetheart I do not leave them by themselves at all,so I like to schedule when there is nothing to conflict with the time I have them. When in my house they have no restrictions from me, only what the parent wants. I have an outside bathroom area on leash for quick bathroom trips. I like to go for at least one or two long walks per day, weather permitting and your dogs abilities. I live in a walkable neighborhood and close to parks. When at your house I will follow whatever routine your partner is used to.

We can drop by and dog sit at many different times and days, so feel free to contact me with any questions or requests you might have. We’re flexible and willing to work around your schedule! I’m happy to come to your house and play with your furry baby, let them out to play or walk them or whatever else you might need or want. I like to make sure they don’t feel alone but also not too bothered.
About: Hi! My (preferred) name is Daisy & I've been taking care of dogs ever since we adopted my very first canine best friend in 2011! Friends and family have trusted me to take care of their fur babies and I've been handling & working with dogs almost every day for almost two years as a doggy daycare attendant, kennel staff, special pup advisor, and group coordinator. I love taking them on walks and practicing sits, stays, downs, give paws, etc... I absolutely love all animals and promise to take care of your babies as if they were my own! I currently work part-time so I'll have plenty of time to check in on & spend with your pets! I'm available Saturdays before 12pm, Sundays all day, & most holidays before 3pm. I've handled several scuffles and am able to remain calm in any situation that may arise. Your pet will always be safe with me!

I volunteered at a veterinarian hospital for around 6 months, so I have seen pet care from a more professional perspective. About: I have loved animals all my life. I think they really are a part of a family, and they deserve to be absolutely spoiled and shown all the love they can take I am self-employed so I have a very flexible schedule. I don’t work a regular 9 to 5 so I am home longer than the average person I make sure to take care of all of their needs. About: Dogs have been a huge part of my whole life growing up! I really enjoy being around them and they make me very happy. I walk my dogs at home all the time so I know how to handle them. Also, I am very patient with dogs whether they are learning to walk or starting to slow their walking down. I am currently in school and have classes in the mornings, but my afternoons are very open. It would not be hard for me to take care of pets in my day, my schedule is pretty open. I live around many other students and by a park, so there are plenty of safe places to walk. Also, there is a dog park very close in walking distance to my house, so that is convenient and nice for the dogs.
About: I have owned animals my entire life from cats, lizards to dogs and horses. I worked at a kennel in my high school years taking care of dogs and assisting the owner in grooming. Going on from that I worked in a dog daycare alongside a fear free trainer whilst training my own dog, Lacey who is now 7, doing agility, obedience and other extensive training. Upon graduating I was given the opportunity to train and work alongside a groomer in her own shop, while I did my time with her we also attended groom expo where I took numerous classes including fear free grooming, control and handling, and creative grooming. Due to back issues I stepped away from the grooming scene and into ridding horses. I wonder my own horse for several years, I took a job opportunity with Letchworth Farms caring for both world class eventing horses as well as our trail horses. My time was ended there after a few years due to me becoming a mother to two beautiful kids and from time to time I have worked alongside a local cat shelter assisting in rescues and fostering and also helping foster and rescue dogs from time to time. I also have experience with caring for senior dogs with special needs. I have a very flexible working schedule to be able to accommodate your needs and your dogs at any time! I also am currently enrolled in Animal behavior and Canine training, a knowledgeable care giver is a great one! I am here for all your pet needs! I have one friendly cat who is vaccinated, fixed and is acclimated with dogs extremely well. I have a 7 year old fixed female who is good with other dogs and would rather spend her days lounging and relaxing.
