About: 2 years ago I got my first dog, Taro, as a puppy of not even 2 months. Since then, I've immersed myself in dog training and constantly get compliments on how well-behaved my dog is. In the middle of the COVID pandemic I took some time while my classes were remote to learn and travel. One of such experiences was a 3 month stay in North Carolina with a family who had raised a number of award-winning, hunting dogs and had just adopted 2 new puppies for training. In that time I learned alot about dog obedience and good manners training. I believe my unique experiences with dogs the last nearly 2 years set me apart from a standard pet carer. I'm willing to walk dogs who have difficulties with pulling on the leash or jumping on strangers during walks. If given a regular schedule with your dog and your permission to use training treats I would be happy to help your dog improve on these problem behaviors. *Note* *I would not be bringing mine or any other client dogs on any scheduled client walks unless you give permission to. When Taro was a puppy I would sometimes take him on walks with well-behaved, older dogs to get him socialized to other dogs. If this is something you'd like me to work on with your dog that can be discussed* I have generally open availability. I walk my own dog twice day with some longer walks reserved for training sessions. I am available after 4pm most weekdays and as needed on weekends. To the specifications of the owner. I take great care to not disrupt the life of my client pup too much just because their parents are out of town.

About: I am an animal lover that grew up with a menagerie of cats, rabbits, anoles, hermit crabs, hamsters and a Border Collie mix who loved to urban mush with me rollerblading. For a couple years I had gotten involved with fostering dogs and puppies of various ages, sizes, energy levels and temperaments. About: I've owned cats since I was a child, but I first started working with them in a more professional setting when I started volunteering at the Hornell Humane Society. Since 2023 I've rescued 6 cats, and have successfully found loving homes for all of them. It all started with a young grey tabby cat named Katherine, who currently lives with my mothers partner. Last summer I recused a litter of 5 kittens, 3 boys and 2 girls. I hand raised them from 4 weeks until I found them good homes. I currently own 2 cats, 2 girls named Juniper and Olive Oil! My Cocker Spaniel was rescued after spending 6 years as a breeder in a puppy mill. I look at each dog I encounter as an individual with their own unique needs based on their temperament and background. This means that I am flexible when dealing with pups. I love cats but don't have one of my own because one of my dogs is reactive to them. I take care of friends' cats in their own homes. I am retired and have a very flexible schedule. About: Albeit having no years of 'professional' caring, I have been a dog and cat mom all of my life. Since I was born my family has had 2-3 dogs and 5-6 cats at a time on our farm, and I raised, trained and took care of all of them myself since my parents were not too big on animals. The sole reason we had so many is because we lived on a farm and I adored them. Every year of my life I have cared for at least one animal or another, ever since I was in grade school. For cats and dogs alike, I myself used to bathe them, feed them, groom them and take them to the vet if they were sick. As of right now, I have no animals to look after, so I would love to put those skills to good use. This being said, I have ample experience with animals, and I adore them. I have babysat animals for my friends several times, always without incident. I understand their signs and needs, have plenty of patience and can be gentle but firm when needed. I treat them as if they were my own children. I am also a trained emergency service medical provider, so I know how to perform first aid and lifesaving measures if need be (not that it will ever be needed, don't worry!). I am flexible with the services I provide: if your pet has any special needs/medications that they need to take/any sicknesses, or anything else, inform me and I will be happy to babysit for them and care for them for as long as you need! Some of the services I can provide include but are not limited to: bathing, walking, training, and cuddling! I will treat your babies with love and kindness while you're away! Rest assured, they will be in good, trained hands. I currently work from home, and would have no problem going on walks or playing games such as fetch to tire out high energy dogs! I already have a daily routine with my own dog, which consists of taking him on regular potty breaks, brushing his teeth, and playing games to tire him out if its too cold to go on walks outside! We have a yard thats not fenced in, but have lines and long leashes to take your fur baby outside! There is one senior dog, one younger dog, and to cats all to give company to your pet! Both dogs are very friendly, and the cats mostly keep to themselves in the room. The dogs will always be in my sight, so that we can hang out, play, and I can tend to their needs! There are plenty of toys to share, plenty of treats to go around (unless stated otherwise) and plenty of friends to play with.

About a year ago, Casper and I moved in with my partner Victor and his 2 cats, Jewel & Scarlett, in Rushville, New York. Initially, we were nervous about introducing them so we started slow by keeping them in separate rooms with a gate. Once they became more comfortable and curious about each other (more on the cats end), we took the gate down after a couple days. It was a seamless living transition if there ever was one. Now all 3 love hanging out on the play mat together with their toys or taking naps nearby each other. We're looking for more furry friends to keep them company and to nap together! Our house is quite spacious with a large open living and family room for lots of play time and nap time. We have plenty of treats and running water fountain for dogs and cats. Our house has a huge front & backyard (not fenced) to run around on leash. When it snows, we love making dog trails around our property because what dog doesn't love to run in the snow! And I'm very experienced in putting on dog boots if needed. Lastly, we are a 15-20 minute walk to Canandaigua Lake, and live 3 minutes from Bare Hill. Currently, Victor and I are started a small business that will be launching this Spring. We work from home Monday-Friday and make our own hours so we are flexible. And I'm available on the weekends and any last minute bookings. Before any booking, I would like to set up a Meet & Greet to learn what I need to best care for your fur baby(ies) and to make sure Casper and your dog(s) get along (Doggy Day Care). The dates I'm currently unavailable are July 8-24, 2022 and Sept 1-5, 2022. My Home: spacious living and family rooms for dogs to run around, a play mat area with toys, and plenty of space to bring your dog's bed so he/she feels comfortable and at home. We have plenty of treats and running water fountain for both dogs and cats. Outside, we have a huge front and backyard, although it is not fenced, still a lot of space to run around on leash. And if your dog loves to run, he/she is welcomed to join our running pack. We're a 15-20 min walk to Canandaigua Lake, and a 3 minute drive to Bare Hill Unique Area. Your Home: I will request a Meet & Greet before booking, and would like to do an initial house visit to learn where the pet food, toys and cleaning supplies are located. Along with learning if your pet has any special needs like medication. I will be a respectful guest in your home and make sure your fur baby(ies) are loved and cared for while you are away.

About: My family always had border collies growing up. I also used to help out at a collie kennel when the owner was traveling. I am open to dogs that are kid-friendly. My husband and I both work full-time and are gone from 8 am to 5 pm. I am available on weekends to take care of your dog. My yard is fenced in and we are a family of five who will give your dog lots of attention and be sure to get it outside for some exercise.
About: I am an animal lover that grew up with a menagerie of cats, rabbits, anoles, hermit crabs, hamsters and a Border Collie mix who loved to urban mush with me rollerblading. For a couple years I had gotten involved with fostering dogs and puppies of various ages, sizes, energy levels and temperaments. I loved watching shelter dogs come out of their shells and learning about their personalities and needs. I am no longer able to foster due to time and space and I miss it a lot. My current space does not allow for boarding/daycare services but I do have a lot of time in the morning/early afternoon for drop in visits. About: 2 years ago I got my first dog, Taro, as a puppy of not even 2 months. Since then, I've immersed myself in dog training and constantly get compliments on how well-behaved my dog is. In the middle of the COVID pandemic I took some time while my classes were remote to learn and travel. One of such experiences was a 3 month stay in North Carolina with a family who had raised a number of award-winning, hunting dogs and had just adopted 2 new puppies for training. In that time I learned alot about dog obedience and good manners training. I believe my unique experiences with dogs the last nearly 2 years set me apart from a standard pet carer. I'm willing to walk dogs who have difficulties with pulling on the leash or jumping on strangers during walks. If given a regular schedule with your dog and your permission to use training treats I would be happy to help your dog improve on these problem behaviors. *Note* *I would not be bringing mine or any other client dogs on any scheduled client walks unless you give permission to. When Taro was a puppy I would sometimes take him on walks with well-behaved, older dogs to get him socialized to other dogs. If this is something you'd like me to work on with your dog that can be discussed* I have generally open availability. I walk my own dog twice day with some longer walks reserved for training sessions. I am available after 4pm most weekdays and as needed on weekends. To the specifications of the owner. I take great care to not disrupt the life of my client pup too much just because their parents are out of town.
