When we arrived, Kimberly greeted us outside with her dog, who is extremely friendly and calm. Even though Remi was on a leash, he handled the interaction well, which honestly surprised me. Throughout Remi’s stay, Kimberly sent pictures and regular updates. She played fetch with him, which is one of his favorite activities (other than eating). “Lourdes is AWESOME!!! Teddy stayed with her for 3 nights and I think he wants to go back. lol. When I went to drop Teddy off, she gave me a tour of her house to let me know what kind of environment/setup she has. She also let me meet some of her family members who are also very sweet. While Teddy was staying with her, I got 22 pictures and multiple videos through out the stay to let me know Teddy is doing just fine. She also sent me texts throughout the stay just to let me know how Teddy is doing. During the night, she even put a little sweater on Teddy to make sure he doesn’t get cold. My family and I were going to Canada and I was super nervous because I was going so far away, but Lourdes definitely made me at ease and my family enjoyed every single pictures and vidoes she sent us. About: i got my first dog when i was 5 years old and since then i have taken care of every dog in my family. I have grown up with dogs cats reptiles and everything in between. I even helped my grandmas dog birth 11 healthy pups and raised them for 3 months!! About: I have always had dogs and cats as a part of my family and I also spent a lot of time cat sitting for friends and family. My family fostered puppies and dogs for several years through a local organization! I am in school studying animal behavior and have done an internship at a cat shelter giving enrichment and behavior training to the particularly shy cats. I work part time, only 3-5 hours a day at a shop a few minutes from my house. Other than work and quick errands from time to time I’m home full time otherwise! About: I have had dogs of every shape, size and disposition for 50 years. I have been fostering rescue dogs for 20 years. I don’t think I will ever not have a dog in my life. I am retired so home pretty much 24/7. I have 2 dogs of my own so am available anytime. I enjoy gardening so prefer to be home. I have a fenced yard with doggie door. These dogs are flight risks so safety is always my first concern with any dog in my care. I use the two leash protocol when walking dogs. I will only board dogs when i do not have a foster dog.

All dogs are cared for in my home. I have a large, securely fenced in back yard. During the day, dogs are free to be outside to play in the backyard as much as they wish. All dogs sleep in large crates or X-pens in our comfortable dog room at night, or when we are not home. We have a young cavalier who would be happy to have new friends to play with. For safety, I separate dogs for feeding and if we're out of the house, although it's rare that no one is home. Guests need to like other dogs and people.

I have dedicated several rooms in my house to doggy activity areas -- agility equipment, floor mats, etc (see photos). Grooming is done very regularly. My pup has environmental allergies so we also do a water rinse daily when we return from our adventures. When your baby stays with me, they will receive the same treatment (if they are comfortable getting brushed). He is my entire life and I couldn’t be happier! I have included photos of my home (and the excessive amount of dog toys we own) in my profile. Several of the rooms in my house are dedicated to doggy activities/enrichment and I also have a fenced in yard. I have also made sure that my set up allows me to separate dogs from each other if they ever get over stimulated -- I have enough rooms where each dog can be in their own room. I also have a doggy door so most days when the weather is not atrocious the dogs can relieve themselves/play as they please. Also my sun room is dedicated to dog care so if need be I can gate off/separate pooches that get too worked up (or just need privacy eating). I do have two crates — one for super small dogs and the other for dogs up to 35 lbs. My dog is crate trained but prefers free range so I have dog beds in every single room. Dogs are welcome on furniture but please make sure they have been recently bathed (within a few days before) if you are boarding as we keep our home extremely clean (the carpets get washed every month and vacuum and swiffering are done daily). We are probably not a good fit if your dog does not get along with other dogs, because my dog is still young and very energetic. If your dog does not like to play but does not react aggressively to other dogs attempting to initiate play, Momo would be fine as he does eventually give up if the other dog does not engage him at all. When we schedule a meet and greet, you can expect to meet us outside the front yard for a couple block long walk together before going to the backyard to let the pooches sniff each other out. Since Momo is a chow-mix, he is protective by nature and does not like it if other fur-babies he does not know well try to jump on his mom so I will likely only greet your baby after I put him back in the house.
About: I started walking my next door neighbor’s Boston Terrier when I was around 10. She knew I was an animal lover, and even let me experiment with some training with her pup. This led to me getting into agility training and just general dog training, which I have started to pick back up again. I am known as the family dog sitter, as my family has a combination of Pit Bulls, Bernedoodles, and hunting breeds, so I’ve worked with dogs of all shapes and sizes and stubbornness! About: I have had dogs my whole life. I adopted my first dog as an adult about 6 years ago, and have since raised three dogs and multiple cats. I am comfortable with large dogs (I own a 90 lbs black lab) as well as administering medications and management of high need dogs. I work from home, so while I am caring for your pets I have the flexibility to take them out whenever they need and make sure they are enriched and cared for. I have a fairly flexible work from home job, so while pet sitting I will be with your pets for the majority of the time. My own dogs are all high needs. About: I've taken care of dogs since I was little and have worked to broaden my knowledge and skills with several books as part of Cesar Millan’s Red Rover program. This was to help fix behavioral issues between all our pups throughout the years and learn more about them. I have been told I'm very empathic and have an eye for their needs in the moment. I'm never done learning about our furry friends and believe it's a lifelong practice. My routine varies on the season. During the cold months my schedule is wide open and I am happy and able to provide care as needed for you. Due to the nature of my current seasonal work schedule, the warm months are more limited, but I am happy to work with you on a schedule that makes sense for all of us. Depending on the season, the majority of our time will be spent in my house, but my backyard is fenced and the front yard is open. I also have a crate if your dog feels safe there too.

About: I've cared for animals my entire life from hamsters to cattle.. but dogs are my love! I have experience with all types and sizes, but specialize in bully breeds and mastiffs. It's important to me that dogs are balanced with training and play (which they'll get with me!). I'm also proficient in training tools such as prong and e-collars in case your pup is in training and needs continuation during our time together. I work full time from home with a flexible schedule. My work day schedule allows for drop-ins and walks given adequate notice. Emergency visits/walks are also available as I know how tough it can be when those last minute changes come up. Pet sitting in your home is preferred. I've found that this keeps your pup(s) more comfortable and less stressed during your time away. Each situation is different, and I'm open to chat through different options.

About: I’ve been pet-sitting on my own since I was about 15 and have had pets at my home since I was a child. I’ve always loved dogs and cats of all sizes and breeds! My summers always consist of staying at family and friends houses with their pets and my name has traveled through town as the pet sitter to go to if someone is going away. I’m very attentive and caring and will treat your pets as though they were my own. I work full-time, Monday-Friday, so I will be available to care for your pets before and after work (during will depend on location) and on weekends at any time. I had a family dog—a border collie, and I have 2 cats of my own. They get all the love and treats that you could imagine. About: I have owned animals my entire life from cats, lizards to dogs and horses. I worked at a kennel in my high school years taking care of dogs and assisting the owner in grooming. Going on from that I worked in a dog daycare alongside a fear free trainer whilst training my own dog, Lacey who is now 7, doing agility, obedience and other extensive training. Upon graduating I was given the opportunity to train and work alongside a groomer in her own shop, while I did my time with her we also attended groom expo where I took numerous classes including fear free grooming, control and handling, and creative grooming. Due to back issues I stepped away from the grooming scene and into ridding horses. I wonder my own horse for several years, I took a job opportunity with Letchworth Farms caring for both world class eventing horses as well as our trail horses. My time was ended there after a few years due to me becoming a mother to two beautiful kids and from time to time I have worked alongside a local cat shelter assisting in rescues and fostering and also helping foster and rescue dogs from time to time. I also have experience with caring for senior dogs with special needs. I have a very flexible working schedule to be able to accommodate your needs and your dogs at any time! I also am currently enrolled in Animal behavior and Canine training, a knowledgeable care giver is a great one! I am here for all your pet needs! I have one friendly cat who is vaccinated, fixed and is acclimated with dogs extremely well. I have a 7 year old fixed female who is good with other dogs and would rather spend her days lounging and relaxing.

When we arrived, Kimberly greeted us outside with her dog, who is extremely friendly and calm. Even though Remi was on a leash, he handled the interaction well, which honestly surprised me. Throughout Remi’s stay, Kimberly sent pictures and regular updates. She played fetch with him, which is one of his favorite activities (other than eating). By the time he came home, he was happily exhausted. We are so glad we found Kimberly and highly recommend her. She is someone we will definitely continue to return to.”
