“Angela is a gem! I was planning a road trip with my 7.5 year old Norwegian Elkhound, Grayson (med. size) from Terre Haute, Indiana to Clinton, NY to visit family just recently in October of 2025. There were a lot of pieces of the of the puzzle to figure out and I started my internet and calling search in August. I was going to be staying at my mother's Senior apartment complex, celebrating her 87th birthday, but they do not allow visiting/staying dogs. My brother lives nearby but due to teenagers coming and going and having a small dog I needed to find other accommodations for Grayson. I called, emailed and options were few and far between. Some boarding kennels were too expensive or already booked, or had rules that the dog must stay until final pickup. Independent pet/home sitters not on Rover did not return emails. I needed to be able to take Grayson out a couple of times during the trip so that my mom could see Grayson as well as enjoy some of the Clinton fun spots with him while there. I also needed to pick Grayson up for the weekend to visit relatives in Massachusetts, then return him for another pet stay the next week. Angela was literally the last person I reached out to (having never used Rover and was unsure at first to use the service) and she got what I was trying to accomplish! We had seamless communication through Rover for initial Q & A and then had a couple of video chats to confirm that this was a match! The Rover app is similar to Airbnb where communication, reservations, and payment are done over the platform. When it was time for travel, Angela let us know she was ready for us! Grayson stayed with Angela Monday through Friday with a mid-week pick up for an afternoon, then picked up Grayson for the weekend getaway visiting relatives. Then Grayson spent Monday through Wednesday of the next week with Angela. Let me just say Grayson fell in love with Angela and Angela fell in love with Grayson! Angela is very attentive with all the details, and all the things you bring to make your pup comfortable (meds, crate, blankets, etc all was handled with care!) Grayson loved all the walks and attention she gave him! It was fun making the drive from Clinton to Angela's, about a 30 min. drive and her town is so pretty, especially with the fall colors and stopping at the local museum and produce stands was so enjoyable. I felt totally comfortable the whole trip that Grayson was well cared for. Angela went the extra mile with lots of attention, walks, brushing and getting an extra bone when I forgot mine. Without Angela, this road trip would not have happened as I really wanted to bring Grayson and have my mom see him as time marches on and wanted mom to see Grayson before any more time went by. Angela made my dream trip come true! Grayson and I even had a side trip to Niagara Falls and I will remember this trip forever! I plan to do this roundtrip again and will definitely book Angela again! I recommend Angela as an exceptional pet/home sitter! For any travelers out there with itineraries like mine, you will be in great hands with Angela! Thank you, Angela, your care for Grayson totally warmed my heart! About: My very first pet of my own is my beautiful calico cat, Nala. I love her beyond words and I would treat your fur baby just how I would want someone to care for mine! I have been cat sitting for over 10 years, as one of my very first jobs was watching my neighbors cat while they were on vacation. About: No dog deserves the kennel! Why settle for the pound when they can spend a night in a home with an owner-on-loan; either in your house on in a house that has raised two other pets from puppyhood to old age? Admittedly, there are stairs and hardwood floors in my house, but I have bought several carpets for my old dog to move around on and can lay them down for your dog’s convenience. We also have a big backyard that your dog will love to run around in (and no predators, unless you count woodchucks and geese) and a long leash that can go all the way to the end of the property line. I love dogs and after a day with me, your furry friend will mistake me for his mother. I’m most busy Wednesdays-Thursdays, so I marked them out on the calendar, but if petsitting is required for several days, that is easy to accommodate! I also don’t mind waking up every few hours to take a dog out—I have not quite reached the age where sleep is important. I won’t allow your dog to roam around outside unleashed (sorry, but I don’t want to lose them!), but when they’re outside, I’ll make sure they have the freedom to run around to their heart’s content. Additionally, I’m willing to walk them in any weather they’ll put up with and even let them sleep on the couch/spare bed, if they’re not too dirty.
About: I am a lifelong rescuer of dogs and cats...I have raised puppies, adopted senior dogs, and adopted six dogs from shelters in the last 25 years. Most of my dogs and I had basic training classes together. I love walking dogs, playing with them, and caring for them in general...and i am excellent at bathing and medicating pups of all ages....even the reluctant ones! I like to be outdoors, so I am happy to walk and play with the dogs in my care outside at least 3 times a day.. I work from home, so I am generally available, weekdays and weekends. About: Miranda has grown up in a home with furry friends since she was 6 months old! Everyone in the family has always had dogs. Miranda has raised 3 of her own from being a puppy to a full grown fur baby! Charles has also grown up his entire life with dogs running around his house. About: Hi! I have taken care of my friend’s dogs for 8 years, while they’re out of town or just at work, from puppies to adults, and it’s a lot of fun! About: No dog deserves the kennel! Why settle for the pound when they can spend a night in a home with an owner-on-loan; either in your house on in a house that has raised two other pets from puppyhood to old age? Admittedly, there are stairs and hardwood floors in my house, but I have bought several carpets for my old dog to move around on and can lay them down for your dog’s convenience. We also have a big backyard that your dog will love to run around in (and no predators, unless you count woodchucks and geese) and a long leash that can go all the way to the end of the property line. I love dogs and after a day with me, your furry friend will mistake me for his mother. I’m most busy Wednesdays-Thursdays, so I marked them out on the calendar, but if petsitting is required for several days, that is easy to accommodate! I also don’t mind waking up every few hours to take a dog out—I have not quite reached the age where sleep is important. I won’t allow your dog to roam around outside unleashed (sorry, but I don’t want to lose them!), but when they’re outside, I’ll make sure they have the freedom to run around to their heart’s content. Additionally, I’m willing to walk them in any weather they’ll put up with and even let them sleep on the couch/spare bed, if they’re not too dirty.

About: Well hello everybody! I have owned and cared for cats my whole life! I would consider myself an expert even with the most challenging kitties and cats of all ages. Most of the cats I have had as pets have been special needs as well so please don’t think your little fur baby is too “difficult” for me! Also, I have been professionally taking care of pets all of my whole life. at most I’ve had 15 cats, 4 dogs, 1 turtle and 1 lizard. poop doesn’t scare me and neither does piddle! I have also had a plethera of pets that had special needs. therefore, if your pet requires special care, I am 100% willing to do that to ensure that you’re comfortable and that your fur-baby is too ☺️ Elderly pets are no worry. If your pet sprays I don’t wish to board them mainly because I don’t want their potty scent throwing off my animals. I have 3 cats of my own at my house. if your pet doesn’t agree with cats boarding probably won’t be the best solution for you! I have a completely open schedule that allows me to be around for you and your pet needs almost everyday of the week. I’m awake around the clock and don’t mind working with odd hours either! I would refer to the pet owners wants, wishes & concerns and of course treat them like as if they were my own little fur baby!
About: I’ve work with my mom at her dog grooming salon since I was 11. I’ve dog sat for family and family friends for many years. I personally like animals more than people. I work at a dog grooming salon from 9am till when ever the last dog is done. I will be able to leave and check on your pups or even bring them with me to work we have plenty of rooms and cages if they couldn’t play with the other pups. I do bring my cat to work with me so if cats are dog friendly they would be able to come too I have very well trained dogs so they stay in the yard, I do stand outside and watch them. I dog sit for many people and I am more than happy to clean puppy pads, use a leash and walk them or anything necessary
About: I've owned multiple cats, and dogs including a plotthound, and a Doberman. I had a pit bull and watch my mother's cattahoula, and other mixed breed dog Lucy. I've been to training classes with dogs, and understand animals very well. I'm extremely compassionate, and can pick up on animals emotions, and see there needs. We've owned animals since I was 5, and it was one of the best things about growing up in our household. Currently there are no animals in the household. At the moment I have a completely open schedule I typically work tech contracts along with other contracts most recently working remotely for various companies. A small kids pool in the summer, walk to the park, regular training, only natural and safe treats. I dehydrate my own healthy treats, We play often, and are continuously teaching positive behaviors.
About: I have pet sat for neighbors and family friends for years and for long periods of time. I have taken care of dogs, cats, guinea pigs and fish. I also have experience working with reptiles and snakes as an intern for an environment education center. I took care of a box turtle, corn snake, and painted turtle. I am in college full time but am willing to watch or stop by when I am not currently taking a class. I am a junior at SUNY ESF. And have a relatively light schedule that would allow me to dedicate hours to your pet if needed. As I live in an apartment I do not have any pets nor can I board pets. However, I have my own car so I can travel to take care of pets. If you wish to have overnight care I can stay on a couch or blow up mattress by your pet for safe company.

“Angela is a gem! I was planning a road trip with my 7.5 year old Norwegian Elkhound, Grayson (med. size) from Terre Haute, Indiana to Clinton, NY to visit family just recently in October of 2025. There were a lot of pieces of the of the puzzle to figure out and I started my internet and calling search in August. I was going to be staying at my mother's Senior apartment complex, celebrating her 87th birthday, but they do not allow visiting/staying dogs. My brother lives nearby but due to teenagers coming and going and having a small dog I needed to find other accommodations for Grayson. I called, emailed and options were few and far between. Some boarding kennels were too expensive or already booked, or had rules that the dog must stay until final pickup. Independent pet/home sitters not on Rover did not return emails. I needed to be able to take Grayson out a couple of times during the trip so that my mom could see Grayson as well as enjoy some of the Clinton fun spots with him while there. I also needed to pick Grayson up for the weekend to visit relatives in Massachusetts, then return him for another pet stay the next week. Angela was literally the last person I reached out to (having never used Rover and was unsure at first to use the service) and she got what I was trying to accomplish! We had seamless communication through Rover for initial Q & A and then had a couple of video chats to confirm that this was a match! The Rover app is similar to Airbnb where communication, reservations, and payment are done over the platform. When it was time for travel, Angela let us know she was ready for us! Grayson stayed with Angela Monday through Friday with a mid-week pick up for an afternoon, then picked up Grayson for the weekend getaway visiting relatives. Then Grayson spent Monday through Wednesday of the next week with Angela. Let me just say Grayson fell in love with Angela and Angela fell in love with Grayson! Angela is very attentive with all the details, and all the things you bring to make your pup comfortable (meds, crate, blankets, etc all was handled with care!) Grayson loved all the walks and attention she gave him! It was fun making the drive from Clinton to Angela's, about a 30 min. drive and her town is so pretty, especially with the fall colors and stopping at the local museum and produce stands was so enjoyable. I felt totally comfortable the whole trip that Grayson was well cared for. Angela went the extra mile with lots of attention, walks, brushing and getting an extra bone when I forgot mine. Without Angela, this road trip would not have happened as I really wanted to bring Grayson and have my mom see him as time marches on and wanted mom to see Grayson before any more time went by. Angela made my dream trip come true! Grayson and I even had a side trip to Niagara Falls and I will remember this trip forever! I plan to do this roundtrip again and will definitely book Angela again! I recommend Angela as an exceptional pet/home sitter! For any travelers out there with itineraries like mine, you will be in great hands with Angela! Thank you, Angela, your care for Grayson totally warmed my heart!
