We also got in touch with them on short notice and they were able to accommodate us after I brought the dogs out for a meet-and-greet with them (and Piper)! They have a great property if you have active dogs, they went on long walks along/in the creek, through the woods and would also just let them play in the huge yard. Charlie, our 2yr old standard Goldendoodle, has to get 4 pills/day for seizures and they had no problems getting him his meds when he needed to take them. In the end, they were great and we’d absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for pet care!”

I grew up with a Golden Retriever (Jeter), when he passed I was devastated, but knew I could not live without a dog in my life. I got a mini golden doodle (Rylee) who is currently 4 years old. I also ended up adopting a heeler/dachshund mix (Mavis) who is 7 months old. I have experience working with all different sized animals of all ages. About: Hi my name is Samantha, I have a home I share with my toddler son and we have 1 pup. We have our 10yr old small spaniel mix, Daisy, that I’ve adopted from Texas. She gets along well with other dogs & loves to play. It was apparent that she never experienced her puppy days before our family took her in. I've had her for 8yrs now and she has become so comfortable and happy in her forever home with us and is very active. She loves to go out on walks and is an even better snuggler. I have had animals my entire life so I love to play, walk and go for runs with them. They have free-roam of the house and the fenced in back yard, and I'm ok with them on my furniture. My dog loves to walk when we can get out, but if not, she loves playing outside before I leave for work and as soon as I get home she runs the back yard. I work during the day M-F, however I work from home 2 days/week. I typically spend my nights home. I am in the military reserves so 1 weekend a month I am away from my home and try not to accept sitting during those long days. I would like more company for my dog as we recently lost her older fur-sister, this has been a transition for us all losing our sweet girl. I have plenty of toys and treats, and I ensure dogs always have free roam of our space. I would just ask that I'm made aware of any restrictions, allergies, behavior issues, etc. ahead of time. I work M-F, mix-matched teleworking days (flexible). I get up in the morning to let my dog play in the back yard, then she eats before I leave for work. We like to play in the back yard every 1-3hrs and we take breaks frequently so there would be some indoor and outdoor exposure for daily play (weather pending). My yard is fully enclosed so I like to bring my dog out with me to play, sniff, lounge and anything else. I have an outside pool that is for dogs so they can get water, play in it or lay down to cool off whenever they’d like. I have a fenced yard and a friendly fur baby to play with. I also have 2 crates available as needed if it’s a preference of yours. In your home, I can follow any instructions left to make sure your fur-baby feels as comfortable as possible at home in their space without you there.

Sassy had never been under someone else's care and my aunt was nervous about leaving her with a "stranger". But Mindy was wonderful and allowed us to come for a 'meet and greet' when we arrived in town the day before our booking. My aunt was still nervous about leaving her the next day because Sassy, being a Maltipoo, has separation anxiety. But Mindy knew taking Sassy for a walk right after we left would be a good distraction. She was also wonderful about sending pictures and videos especially that first day and that made us feel better about leaving her. By the second day Sassy was comfortable going straight to Mindy when we arrived. Also, she was very flexible regarding drop off and pick up times.”

“Kevin was the primary care giver. He was helping me care for my husky with a wound. Kevin was patient and gentle with my dog. I was unsure how to get her foot soaked for 15 minutes twice a day. I am disabled and the vets office wasn't giving me any good advice. He showed me how to get her into the tub and keep her there for 15 minutes without over stressing her. He was very impressive. He obviously loves animals,and has a talent to calm them.”

About: I have aided in training both of our German shorthaired pointers growing up as well as a go-to pet carer and walker when close friends and family are on vacation or cannot get away from the office. I take time out of my day to do this for my current family & friends so I am used to making the pets a priority because that time of their day I get to spend with them is very crucial to their happiness since their owner cannot be there. I take pride in being chosen to be a part of different pets lives and have a vast experience with different breeds (aussies, bulldogs, labs, and cats are just to name a few!) I have an hour of lunch time to myself and use that to be able to let pets out and if the owner requests to stay with them a big longer, I do & finish up some work there if possible. Getting out at 5 p.m. every day is a benefit to the pets I go let out and spend time with because the rest of the night I am free. My availability is Monday-Sunday! I care for the pets with mostly the instructions the owner gives like if they need fed or not etc but I always always always make sure to play with them, give them pets, and make sure they are used to me before anything else. If they have a fenced in yard I will play with them but in other cases when the dog is staying in my house with me, I always give them walks throughout the day as well as bring them to a cages in dog park near my house so they can roam free a bit without the leash.

Drop-In Visits: I stick to your pet’s normal routine: feeding, fresh water, potty breaks, and some playtime or cuddles, all in the comfort of their own home. I follow any care instructions you leave (medications, feeding amounts, favorite toys) exactly as written. Dog Walking: I match the pace and route to your dog’s energy and age; brisk exercise for active pups, slower sniff-walks for seniors. I always have waste bags on hand and check in with a photo update after each walk. For both, I treat your home with respect (doors locked, alarm set if needed) and your pet like my own.
About: Hi! My (preferred) name is Daisy & I've been taking care of dogs ever since we adopted my very first canine best friend in 2011! Friends and family have trusted me to take care of their fur babies and I've been handling & working with dogs almost every day for almost two years as a doggy daycare attendant, kennel staff, special pup advisor, and group coordinator.
