About: I have been cat sitting (both overnight and drop-in visits) for the last few years. I am comfortable with cats who want to be around me 24/7, cats that want me to be as far away as possible, and everything in-between! Recently I have been doing a lot of overnight stays to watch an elderly cat because she gets sick when she gets lonely, and I love my time with her. At my current job I have gained incredibly valuable experience caring for elderly cats who need to receive a litany of medication. I feel comfortable giving cats liquid medications and tablets/capsules orally if the patient will not take it inside of food. I understand that as loving and sweet as our pets are, no one likes taking a bitter medication and I never hold it against them if they're not thrilled about it. I have studied dog behaviors, CPR trained, used to train and have spent my life learning dogs. After my last class ends at 3:00, I go home briefly before practice. During that half hour, I might let my pet outside, clean up after them, or spend a few minutes giving them attention. After practice, when I get home around 5:00, I have more time to focus on pet care. This is when I usually feed my pet again, take them for a walk if needed, and spend quality time playing or relaxing with them. In the evening, I also make sure everything is set for the night, like refilling water and making sure they are comfortable. Overall, pet care is a consistent responsibility that I fit into both the small breaks in my day and my longer free time at night. Even with a busy schedule, I make sure my pet’s needs are always a priority. I care for pets in my home by creating a safe, active, and comfortable environment where they feel right at home. I have a fenced-in yard, so dogs get plenty of time outside to run and play. I also have a pup of my own who loves being around other dogs, which helps keep visiting pups entertained and social. Throughout the day, they’ll have a mix of playtime with other dogs and one-on-one attention, along with lots of cuddles so they feel cared for and not alone. Inside, I make sure every dog has a space where they feel secure. I have a crate available if needed, but there’s also plenty of room if you’d prefer to bring your own crate. I focus on keeping a routine that includes feeding, outdoor time, and attention, so each pup stays happy, comfortable, and well cared for.

I also fully believe anyone on vacation should be able to enjoy their time away without excessive texts from a sitter—so unless you want extensive updates, I would only contact you if it was absolutely necessary/urgent. If you want daily updates, I’m happy to do so because I know I enjoy some cute pics of my cats snoozing away in the sun on days I go to the office! I work remotely and depending on your needs and distance, I am available for mid day drop ins. If given enough time to plan ahead, I can also be available to work remotely from your home to keep your pets company in your absence. I’m extremely flexible—willing to stay overnight or just do day time visits. I always like to schedule a meet & greet beforehand for any service. About: I am efficient in caring/walking dogs of all sizes, personalities, energy levels, and needs. I’ve been around dogs my whole life and I’m comfortable with caring for pets. I am reliable and attentive, and willing to follow the instructions given by the owners to make sure the animals are set and well cared for! I am currently working part-time. I am available Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday anytime after 1:30 PM. Mondays, I am available 9 AM to 12 PM. Friday Fridays, I can be flexible. When caring for pets in other people’s homes, I will follow the instructions left out by the owner to make sure all the needs are met.

About: I have taken care of both dogs and cats for as long as I can remember. I have just completed my first year of Veterinary Technician school and have done 3 different internships in the field. I am very well versed with simple care, medications, and most importantly love for the animals! My schedule fluctuates very frequently as I have a part time job and im also completeing an internship, however I can easily work my schedule around whatever the animals need!
