About: Starting from a young age I knew I needed to be a pet care provider. Starting in high school I worked at several barns providing care for various livestock and companion animal species alike. While I love our livestock, I find more fulfillment in helping our household pets. I’m currently working on an animal care and behavior degree, and work at an animal hospital. About: I’ve been pet sitting alone for about 8 years now! Friends, neighbors, and other folks have relied on me to feed and walk their pets as well as house sit. I’ve worked with cats, dogs, almost all domestic farm species, amphibians, reptiles, and fish. Clear communication and meeting the needs of the client are the most important pieces to pet care to me. I like to take notes about expectations and routines, such as feeding or play time, that way I can provide pets with the most consistency and familiarity I can. About: Animals and nature have been my greatest passion for as long as I can remember. I have fresh water out all day and I feed them twice a day. My dogs get a specialized high end kibble which I supplement with fresh meat, organ, eggs, fruits, veggies, goats milk, coconut oil, bone broth, salmon oil, turmeric and a daily vitamin. I wash my dogs as needed or every two weeks. I brush their teeth, fur, and clip their nails weekly as well. I only have high quality chew bones and other toys available that don’t pose a risk as my dogs are heavy chewers.

About: I’ve taken care of animals since I was 16. I work for Charleston Animal Society. Examples of care; walking them, to giving them medicine (if needed), feeding them, making sure they have water, don’t overheat, have basically everything they need as they are with me, to having them for sleep overs, and staying with them for however long was needed. Animals are my top priority. At the moment I have a full time job, but have weekends off. I plan to entail doing this on my weekends and even after work days.
