Maggie is social, playful, and friendly, and she enjoys having other dogs around. I will respect your instructions and your dog’s normal routine as much as possible. Please share any important details about feeding, health, behavior, crate comfort, sleeping preferences, and how your dog does with children and other dogs. Meet-and-greets are welcome before booking, and I’m happy to send updates during your dog’s stay. My goal is to provide a safe, attentive, family-centered home where your dog is cared for with patience, respect, and genuine attention. Because I’m home most of the time, your dog will not be left alone for long periods. If we leave for errands, Maggie is comfortable in her crate, and we can offer the same option for your dog if they are crate-trained or feel secure that way. We also have a spare crate available, or you are welcome to bring your dog’s own bed, crate, blanket, or comfort items. While my kids are always game to play, I will be solely responsible for the care of your loved one!

My Fiancé & I currently have 3 Cats (they love dogs- but if any issues - can be kept separate in their cat room to create a more comfortable stay for any pet that doesn’t like cats), between me & my partner- someone is always home to give attention to & play with pets. (Aside from when we go to the store or doctors appointments). Your pets will get the best care!!! Someone will always be home with your pets, either I am home or when I’m at work my fiancé Deanne is home & is also a huge animal lover. The only times someone isn’t home is when we’re grocery shopping or at an appointment. We have the rail trail right in our backyard that goes for miles- it’s a great trail to take dog walks on! We usually do that or use tie outs or the dogs leashes in our yard since we don’t have a fenced in yard, but your pets are never left unattended on the tie-outs, someone will be outside with them at all times

She came for a meet and greet, learned all their names, and followed every instruction during the entire two week period. I needed twice a day drop ins for one hour each. She stayed for the entire hour, played with the cats, fed them, pet them, cleaned food bowls, replaced water bowls and cleaned their litter. He sadly passed away in October 2025 after 12 years together, so it would be an understatement to say I'm more than happy to pour extra love to your pup. I have discovered that adventures are my ideal experiences and would like to advertise as such! Mountain hikes, kayak paddles (>15 pounds) are my favorites, but I am open to other ideas/training requests! Paddleboarding, swimming lessons...the possibilities are endless. One hour minimum is preferred; gas and travel time to the adventure site are included. I have many mountains, lakes and trails on my list, so I do not see it as fair to charge you for that time! You will only be charged for adventure time. Depending on your pup(s) comfortability in the car, we may travel up to 45 minutes. You and I will decide together on location details, and this app will track where your pup(s) and I are at all times. I am usually available all the time except for the occasional vacation I might go on. Weekends are no problem either. I am pretty much available year round. I like to hang out with my dog all day. Adding more animals to the mix is no problem. I like taking walks with them and I also have a fenced yard.

About: Hi! My name is Andrea. I have lived in the Hudson Valley for almost 4 years now, and have been working in the area off and on since 2014. I live with my partner, Mike, and precious pup Kona. I have always lived with dogs. And recently, have been thinking about getting a cat! I am an Occupational Therapist in a school district full time and love to farm and bicycle during my off time. “Dakota was so good with our 2 dogs. They both have strong pray drives and the walking trails are thru the woods so it can sometimes be challenging to control them. They warmed up so fast to her and their walks together went really well. She always gave detailed reports of the walks and sent photos….I really like that ? About: I've been taking care of dogs since I was five years old and continued to get more dogs. I have dog sat for multiple friends and family rating from dogs and cats. As far as training animals, I did grow up with having to train them so I do have some experience. I am currently working part time and go to community college but will be able to manage and work out a schedule that will be accommodating. I have 3 dogs that have invisible fences outside so they can roam free without getting lost, going to the road, running off. I have a big yard surrounding my house so they are used to running around freely. When it gets too cold they come in to the house or garage with my father. I am used to walking dogs as they do get walked on occasion at home or if we have them out of the house. I do not off offer services that welcome pets into my house but I am accommodating as necessary and will offer services at your residency.

About: I’ve grown up with Chinchillas, Cats, Dogs, Ducks, Chickens, & Reptiles. My Fiancé & I currently have 3 Cats (they love dogs- but if any issues - can be kept separate in their cat room to create a more comfortable stay for any pet that doesn’t like cats), between me & my partner- someone is always home to give attention to & play with pets. (Aside from when we go to the store or doctors appointments). Your pets will get the best care!!! Someone will always be home with your pets, either I am home or when I’m at work my fiancé Deanne is home & is also a huge animal lover. The only times someone isn’t home is when we’re grocery shopping or at an appointment. We have the rail trail right in our backyard that goes for miles- it’s a great trail to take dog walks on! We usually do that or use tie outs or the dogs leashes in our yard since we don’t have a fenced in yard, but your pets are never left unattended on the tie-outs, someone will be outside with them at all times

About: I have years of experience with many different types of dogs. I watch dogs on a regular basis. For younger dogs I can offer a mountain hikes and for older dogs I can walk them on boardwalk trails that are easy on the joints, yet give the dog the sense of walking in the woods. I don't mind larger dogs at all. I also am willing to cook food for dogs. I very much enjoy the company of dogs and find that when they are well fed and exercised they are really pleasant to be around. Please give me honest description of your dog so I can plan His/Her visit accordingly. My house is set back (1000 feet) from a country road . I can pick up dogs in NYC , Great Barrington , Hudson, or Albany for a fee. I have watched many dogs over the years. Usually I try to walk them as much as possible. I feed them well , but make them follow the sit command before being fed and multiple times a day. All dogs have to be on a slip proof leash when outside or dropped off. Dogs often don't behave as they do at home . Once off a leash it can be very difficult to recapture a dog. In the house I don't crate dogs . We can only watch a few dogs at once. If your dog is very difficult let me know in advanced. Also Corgies get 10% off.
