I make sure they are accommodated. My days aren’t hectic so morning and afternoon+ night routine is established. I have a fenced yard. There’s lots of grass and space for them to run around. About: I didn’t get to experience the joy of growing up with dogs or cats but as soon as I was able I began taking in fosters from the NYC shelter system. It was quite a learning experience spending time with many dogs (and a few cats) of all different types and personalities. I no longer foster but I bring the experience and dedication from working with so many shelter pets to caring for your furry family members. And as a pet parent now myself I have been through many sitters so I understand what makes a good one! A note on boarding and meet and greets: I’m happy to have boarding candidates come by to meet me and check out the space but I do not do meet and greets with my own dogs. My dogs are dog friendly but they are too chaotic and excitable to meet new dogs and owners right away. New dogs are kept separate at first and introduced at their own pace when everyone is calm. This minimizes stress for everyone and allows for better interactions. I currently work out of the house Monday/Wednesday/Friday but my schedule is somewhat flexible. The rest of the week I work at home and I am often available all weekend. Dogs in my home have access to a securely fenced large yard for running and fetch, as well as a quiet neighborhood for walks. If the weather is warm dogs have access to a dog door so they may go outside as they please. If your dog likes to play with other dogs mine will certainly be happy to accommodate but they can also have separate spaces if quiet time is needed. In your home I will make every effort to keep your pets schedule as familiar as possible while offering lots of love and stimulation. As someone who has had many sitters come through and stay at my house I understand the importance of trust and cleanliness so you can be away without worry.

This love and compassion has led me to volunteering at the SPCA for a number of months, which turned into working there for over 4 years as both an animal care attendant and as a veterinary assistant. In my time there, I have been given the most incredible opportunity to both care for and rehouse hundreds of animals and have even acquired a couple of cats along the way. I am currently in the process of opening my own dog daycare to provide a very loving, caring environment for the dogs to spend their day while their pet parents are away.

“First of all, I was super nervous to leave my precious Teddy with someone we didn't know (and the first time he'd have been left with someone we didn't know) & Rebecca was fantastic! Kept me in the loop with how teddy was doing, got him calmed down cause he was nervous too/ sent me photos of my lil guy throughout his stay with them... I couldn't say enough good things about our experience! Teddy seemed to love them too and that's what matters to me. “My fiancé and I are so lucky to have found Cipriana. Our dog Tonto is hind leg paralyzed and needs special care, so when we were planning our recent vacation we needed someone to watch him that was comfortable doing expressions (both bladder and anal) as well as giving him his daily medications. Cipriana was willing to learn and took amazing care of our boy even if he was the MOST anxious during his stay. We cannot recommend her enough. She also kept us updated daily on how he was doing, since we’re both nervous wrecks about him. Thank you!”
