My Boxer has separation anxiety so bad she got severe colitis last time I had to travel, so I knew a kennel setting would not be good for her. “Melissa is a true saint! My family was on a 2.5 week road trip with our 11 month old Akita puppy, Frida, when we decided to make a stop a the Great Blue Heron festival in Sherman, NY. Being on the road and leaving our puppy with a stranger seemed intimidating, especially considering her shy nature, but Melissa was great! Frida was very reserved with Melissa at first, but eventually warmed up. Melissa sent pictures and videos that showed she was having a great time. She went above and beyond to make sure Frida had access to activities that she enjoyed and even set up play dates with other young dogs. I am so so grateful we found Melissa and we were able to leave our pup with someone who put so much love and care into her time with Frida.”

About: I have been pet sitting for most of my life. People have always trusted me with their animals - dogs, cats, tortuous, rabbits, fish, and hedgehogs to name a few. I understand that a pet is another family member and deserved to be treated as such. Hire me and have some peace of mind knowing that your pets are being loved on and cared for while you are away. My job is remote and more so dependent on my overall job being done rather than being in front of a computer for set hours. You tell me when you want me to visit and we can make it work. I live in a secure apartment with plenty of space for activities. My cats love to watch out the windows at life happening below. We have places to climb, play and nap. “Missy was great with our 2 cats while we were away! I was worried about our older cat because she has recently been finicky about food but Missy kept me informed and up to date on everything! She was super responsive, sent photos and updates while I was gone and the cats were happy and the house looked great when we returned! I would recommend her to anyone looking for someone to care for their pets whether is be midday checks or while your away. About: Hello I'm new to the area. Just recently relocated from New York. I've always have had a love for animals and just have always wanted to show the love to other pets as well. I believe all animals big or small deserve the best care possible. Whether its just for the day or while you enjoy some much needed free time on vacation I'm here for your pets needs. About: I have had dogs all my life and spent over 20 years as a Pet Groomer both in a shop and mobile. I have had continued education in cat grooming, dog grooming, skin care, etc. I specialized in senior and anxiety dogs. I have had upward of 9 dogs at one time and they did not all get along. I have also owned a diabetic dog. I also have a Reiki background. Currently I am retired from pet grooming and I own another business that is seasonal therefore my schedule is pretty flexible and my availability is pretty open too. I have a small fenced yard in a low traffic community that is good for walks too. I am familiar with crate training and can accommodate that if needed. I also have gates if access needs to be limited to parts of my house. Example, I do have stairs and can block them if pet is unable to do stairs.

About: I have a lot of experience with all kinds of animals, from dogs to hamsters to creased geckos. My dog cookie is one of the most kind, loving animals, along with my hedgehogs. I’ve been told that my animals are very well taken care of and I pride my self on that. I promise to care for your animals the same way I care for mine.
