About: I have plenty of references and experience with pet care. Growing up, I always had a dog and cat in the home. Currently, I live in an apartment and can’t get a dog. My boyfriend is allergic to cats, so I can’t get a cat either 😢 But I have plenty of friends and family who I have given pet care to. I can read animals pretty well and always prioritize their needs. Then our work schedules got flipped and we were panicking on what to do with little man while we both had to work Christmas Eve and day and 12hr shifts. Then came a Christmas miracle, Kaitlyn and her amazing family watched over little Apollo. About: I am comfortable with all breeds and sizes and will be sure to make your pup feel at home! I work from home and can give lots of attention. I also have a large open yard for play, enclosed kennel space as well, and a small dog for added socialization. I work from home and my own dog stays with me throughout the day. I do regular bathroom breaks, have access to water, and when the weather is nice get out for frequent walks. I have a shaded outdoor kennel should the weather be nice enough for my dog to have some extra outdoor time or use the screened in porch. Lots of options for your pup to get all they need. Your pet will follow the same schedule as my pup based on the time your pet is with me. About: In addition to dogs and cats, I love and have cared for many animals my entire life. I grew up caring for the family cat, dog sitting for friends and family, and working for the Prospect Park Zoo in NYC. As an adult I've volunteered for multiple animal shelters, and now care for my own baby Tortoise. As someone with a pet myself, I know how important it is that your sitter adores and respects your animals' needs. I prioritize your animal's health, safety, and happiness! I am a graduate student, giving me a pretty flexible schedule! I am typically completely free Thursday through Sunday. Drop off visits are possible Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, especially in the mornings or later at night. Making sure pets get the attention they need is a top priority for me. Being a student, writer, and researcher, I work mostly at home. This allows me to spend additional time hanging out with those pets that enjoy some human company. I also love hiking, walking, and spending time outdoors. So if your pup needs to get some energy out in the woods, I'll be more than happy to be their guide! I can house small pets for a night or two - I live in a ~700 square foot apartment with a balcony and ample access to the outdoors. But someone cannot always be home, so cats and independent small dogs are preferred.

I work many different gigs that make my schedule super flexible! I am able to make trips during the day to care for your pet while you're at work and I am also able to hang with them in the evenings if you decide you want to have a night out! I like building trust between animals. Repeated visits with pets are very important to help reduce stress on them. I give them space upon first meeting to give them the opportunity to approach me when they are ready to do so. until in no time we are besties.
About: I Grew up a dog lover. I have about 15 years of Hands on experience with dogs. My first job at 15 was volunteering at a local human society where i still help out from time to time. This job is where i worked majority of the time one on one with our dog handler and gained the experience and hands on time with all different types of breeds from the smallest to the biggest. Very Experienced in dog training with obedience, aggression, as well as forms of anxiety. I personally have 4 dogs 2 of 4 are hearing impaired alert dogs as i am partially deaf. I have 2 pitbulls, 1 cane corso, and 1 corso bully mix. They are my absolute life. I work, and devote all my time to my animals. I’ve cared for many peoples animals, including training a good portion of them as well. I love dogs, they are my passion so if i can repay them with more love, attention and happiness as they often give us (their owners) than I’d be very content. I currently work full time during the day but i have a very flexible schedule so i can be free daily if needed. Mornings/ afternoons. I also am off on weekends so i have plenty of free time. I have 4 dogs of my own. 2/4 are hearing impaired services animals. My 4th is still a pup so we are currently in training now. I have a huge yard, as well as 2 big 6x6 kennels which are both in a sun room with lots of fresh air, sun, heat, air conditioning. I walk my dogs 2 times a day. Once in the morning and once at night. I am a frequent visitor of the crossings of Colonie which is where i bring my dogs daily for walking and training purposes. I am very protective and hands on with my dogs and that’s exactly how i would be with anyones dog. The dogs safety and health/well-being are always the main focus.
About: all my life i have grown up with animals, i love taking care of animals. i have a dog and two cats of my own and i will treat ur pets like they’re my own. i will play with them, give them love and affection and just be there for them. i can work anything, i’m mostly free all the time. if u just need a dog walker or a sitter for a while i will be there to help you they have a fenced backyard, and they are trained off leash and are really really good with other people. i will give them all the attention
About: Growing up with dogs and taking care of the neighborhood dogs I'm no stranger to the amount of attention a fur baby needs. With a BA in Zoology and over 3 years of professional care with dogs I can't wait to meet your family! My day job at doggy camp keeps me pretty busy but I can't wait to hang with your fur baby on my days off! Your animals boundaries are my top priority. About: I have years of experience with many different types of dogs. I watch dogs on a regular basis. For younger dogs I can offer a mountain hikes and for older dogs I can walk them on boardwalk trails that are easy on the joints, yet give the dog the sense of walking in the woods. I don't mind larger dogs at all. I also am willing to cook food for dogs. I very much enjoy the company of dogs and find that when they are well fed and exercised they are really pleasant to be around. Please give me honest description of your dog so I can plan His/Her visit accordingly. My house is set back (1000 feet) from a country road . I can pick up dogs in NYC , Great Barrington , Hudson, or Albany for a fee. I have watched many dogs over the years. Usually I try to walk them as much as possible. I feed them well , but make them follow the sit command before being fed and multiple times a day. All dogs have to be on a slip proof leash when outside or dropped off. Dogs often don't behave as they do at home . Once off a leash it can be very difficult to recapture a dog. In the house I don't crate dogs . We can only watch a few dogs at once. If your dog is very difficult let me know in advanced. Also Corgies get 10% off.
