About: I’ve had dogs my whole life but only started sitting in 2019 after graduating college. I love and can care for dogs of all sizes but my apartment can only fit <60 lbs comfortably. “I would highly recommend Dawn to take care of your fur baby; she cared for my rambunctious Goldendoodle as if he were her own. She is conveniently located in a quaint neighborhood that has limited traffic and no unleashed dogs; so, in addition to getting exercise in Dawn’s fenced in backyard, my puppy got exercise when Dawn walked around the neighborhood. After playing with toys supplied by Dawn, my dog cozied up to her dog for a nap. About: I've had pets my entire life. For over 40 years, I've raised puppies and kitties into well-behaved, loved members of my family. I have some experience giving medicine and training. I work from home 4 days of the work week and even on the day that I’m away, pets are never left alone for more than 5-6 hours a day, which is rare at that. I walk our dog daily and there is plenty of time to go out and play in a fenced yard multiples times during the day. As mentioned above, we lets our dogs get plenty of fresh air and exercise and they are rarely alone for long stretches at a time. If I'm taking care of a pet in their own home, those pets can get walks and regular visits based on their needs.

I have a flexible schedule that will let me have more availability for your fluffy friends to get out and play and exercise. I’m looking for a long term dog caring commitment to start off my new year. I am not able to do home care ( in my home) at this time. I do have two wonderful dogs who love to have play dates at puppy parks and go for long walks.

About: I’ve been around both dogs and cats my entire life , personally owned both for 5 years now. Back in CO I house sat and watched dogs frequently and loved it , now I work at a Canine daycare and Training facility in Plattsburgh Tuesday-Friday. Brings me joy everyday to help people take care of their fur babies ❤️ I work Tuesday through Thursday throughout the day but have a lengthy lunch break that I can leave and assist others with their pets , Friday I have a half day so Im available all afternoon. Saturday- Monday I’m available for overnight boarding and checkins ( walks , feeding , etc ) . Let me care for your fur baby while you’re away ! I have a large yard with one well behaved girl dog and two cats, I can provide a run line if wanted or just frequent leashed walks if that’s preferred . There are plenty of toys and outdoor shade , as well as a baby pool for cooling off in summer . I have a XXL crate so I can crate your animals if wanted/necessary , and a “Pet room” where they can sleep on the bed or chair as they desire.
About: Relationship with animals has always been a passion of mine. I started grooming dogs with my grandmother at the age of 10, but was her assistant long before I earned the title. It brings me joy and fulfillment to care for pups and cats alike, while creating an environment where they (and you) can feel safe and earn my trust in the process. As a part time bartender at Pascolo Restaurant in Downtown Burlington, it would fit into my schedule to walk dogs in the morning, afternoon and early evening as well as weekends. About: I’ve been dog sitting since I was 17. I have had lots of experience walking active larger breeds and taking care of puppies, kittens and cats. When I’m not hanging out with animals, I stay active and creative. Over the years I’ve worked as a preschool teacher, full time nanny, swim coach/ instructor and security guard in New York as well as Northern California. I believe that understanding animals vocal and physical actions through sincere intuitive observation, is the most important quality to have when taking care of a pet and their needs. Safety, trust & environment; There are many safe trails throughout the Adirondacks that I’m comfortable walking dogs on and I always bring water to share with a on the go water bowl! When traveling with animals I always put on a gentle playlist I made for my own pets to ensure they don’t get any anxiety from the sounds of being on the road. I have a great amount of experience with bathing/ washing dogs and cats for either sensitive issues or just a routine bath for a muddy pup. I have lots of experience with handling and providing medication to animals, as well as bottle feeding with a gentle approach.

About: From as far back as I can remember I have been living animals and taking care of them. I have always had a large variety of pets and then worked in Petsmart in high school to gain a greater understanding of pet care needs. My love of animals continued to follow me through out school where I got a degree in environmental biology and have been working with wild life ever since. I still have pets but I would love to meet yours and care for them as if they were my own! So currently I am working seasonally in marine biology and fisheries and have just got off a boat for the season. Because of this I have ample time to tend to your pets needs until I head back out to sea next summer. I will be working part time on the slopes this winter but making time to take care of pets is a routine that I am used to so I would be happy to make my winter schedule work with yours. I believe a tired dog is a good dog, I too need exercise so I plan to keep your pet active and engage to help them get to know me and take their mind off you not being there. I also have a very old arthritic dog at the moment so I realize not all pets should be as physically active as others and will pay close attention to any specific needs your pet has to ensure they are happy and healthy.
