About: I have taken care of both dogs and cats for as long as I can remember. I have just completed my first year of Veterinary Technician school and have done 3 different internships in the field. I am very well versed with simple care, medications, and most importantly love for the animals! My schedule fluctuates very frequently as I have a part time job and im also completeing an internship, however I can easily work my schedule around whatever the animals need! I have a fenced yard with a very friendly pup at home. I can also let your pet in and out of crates, give treats and/or medications, take them on walks, and anything else they may need.

I love all animals from the weirdest to the wackiest. I have a German Shepherd puppy of my own who is currently in training and has already graduated level one classes, so I understand the importance of structure, patience, exercise, and positive reinforcement. Since I also care for my own dog daily, pet care is already an important part of my everyday life. I am an early riser and can stay up as long as your pet needs! “Meghan was great! The last time we hired a walker, one of our pups didn’t walk. He wouldn’t leave the house and we had to call in a favor from family. We asked Meghan to meet the dogs and cat before her first walk, and we found her to be calm, polite, and very pleasant around the dogs. They warmed up to her immediately. While we were gone, she walked the dogs twice a day, including the one who was socially anxious. Our house looked great when we got home and the animals were in very good spirits. She stayed in contact with us, made sure our cat took his meds, which is extremely important , and sat with him and pet him every visit so he wouldn't be lonely. We were anxious about leaving him but she demolished our fears and we were able to rest assured knowing our cat Maui was being well taken care of. “Emily was the closest Rover sitter to me in a remote location, put she was still about 20 minutes away. She stopped by AFTER a full days work, which was at least another 20 minutes in the opposite direction from me. Despite these logistics, Emily showed up consistently early evening immediately after her work day. She performed all the duties necessary during each visit, plus she performed some special handling for a package that arrived while I was away. I would not hesitate using her again, and would recommend her.”
About: Common courtesy and communication is paramount. **Willing to travel up to an hour away. Just because Rover says you are outside my service area it does not always mean you are. I have clients an hour North and South of me. **Necessary update as of 6/21/23** I will require current credit card info be on file at your vet or provided for me in your pet write up ONLY in case of emergency. In the event of an emergency and I could not get a hold of the human, puppies have no pockets to hold a card, the vet required me to pay. I have raised 3 separate RESCUE Rottweilers to be exceptional ambassadors of their breed. I currently do not have any pets since my big boy passed away in 2016. I hope to again one day have my own dogs. Until then I will love YOUR pet. **I DO NOT board animals at my home. Only repeat clients would MAYBE be possible for a very short amount of time.** Clients pets have included many breeds, species for days, weeks. Many Golden Retrievers, Doodles, mixes aka Heinz57s, Old English Sheep dog, lots of kitties, a chameleon, turtles, a bearded dragon, a small bird, fish, Rottweilers, a very challenging but lovable English Bulldog and Huskies one of which was very reactive. Oh and a LOT of house plants! PLEASE NOTE: I am deathly allergic to horses which I am very sad about. Any type of animal requiring LARGE amounts of hay would also be a problem i.e, goats, cows, alpacas I am sorry to say. Small rodent animals requiring hay for food or bedding has not been a big deal. My personnel dogs were very public dogs, parks, events etc. With the ever present fact in mind that as good as my animal was it is still an animal. Never purposely putting them in a situation to be loose (unless at home or a fenced park) or get into anything that could harm them. Read quite a few books/manuals by military working dog trainers in hopes of training a service oriented Rottie. Came very close to passing the Good Citizen certification but my dogs never liked the “stay” part when I had to walk away with my back turned. They just had to be next to me. So close. PLEASE NOTE: I have my preferences set to NOT to show any photos of YOUR pet publicly. I would ask permission first to share. Photos only NEVER infomation of course. My schedule allows me to be available to be in YOUR HOME, with your pets all day/night, unless noted ahead of time and of course trips to the store. I have many types of animals that insist on sleeping in bed just like they do when their people are home which in fine by me. Just take some Benadryl and snuggle on in. I try to stick closely to how the home runs normally so the pets do not have any surprises that can make them anxious. Sleep, food, walks, play time etc. I supervise dogs in their own yard fenced or not. I am very organized and like an outlined idea of their schedule to be written down for me to follow as closely as YOU would.

I have cared for a variety of animals including dogs, cats, hamsters, rabbits, birds, turtles, and yes even snakes. I’ve even experienced breeding and nurturing 11 golden retrievers (3 adults and 8 puppies) at one time. I will come to your house to LOVE, feed, water, play, brush, walk, talk to, and even car rides with your beautiful pets. I’ve also been known to mop, water your plants, retrieve your mail, and take your garbage to the street. On numerous occasions, I’ve taken on jobs in Massachusetts and Vermont as mini vacations! In the morning, before I leave for my first class at 8:00 a.m., I make sure my pet is fed and has fresh water. Since my school schedule is split throughout the day (8:00–9:00, 10:00–12:00, and 2:00–3:00), I don’t always have long periods at home, but I still try to check in whenever I can. After my last class ends at 3:00, I go home briefly before practice. During that half hour, I might let my pet outside, clean up after them, or spend a few minutes giving them attention. After practice, when I get home around 5:00, I have more time to focus on pet care. This is when I usually feed my pet again, take them for a walk if needed, and spend quality time playing or relaxing with them. In the evening, I also make sure everything is set for the night, like refilling water and making sure they are comfortable. Overall, pet care is a consistent responsibility that I fit into both the small breaks in my day and my longer free time at night. Even with a busy schedule, I make sure my pet’s needs are always a priority. I care for pets in my home by creating a safe, active, and comfortable environment where they feel right at home. I have a fenced-in yard, so dogs get plenty of time outside to run and play. I also have a pup of my own who loves being around other dogs, which helps keep visiting pups entertained and social. Throughout the day, they’ll have a mix of playtime with other dogs and one-on-one attention, along with lots of cuddles so they feel cared for and not alone. Inside, I make sure every dog has a space where they feel secure. I have a crate available if needed, but there’s also plenty of room if you’d prefer to bring your own crate. I focus on keeping a routine that includes feeding, outdoor time, and attention, so each pup stays happy, comfortable, and well cared for.

I was entrusted with the care of neighbor's pets, friend's farms, and took on the care of the rescued strays as part of the dog control in my hometown. About: I have taken care of both dogs and cats for as long as I can remember. I have just completed my first year of Veterinary Technician school and have done 3 different internships in the field. I am very well versed with simple care, medications, and most importantly love for the animals! My schedule fluctuates very frequently as I have a part time job and im also completeing an internship, however I can easily work my schedule around whatever the animals need! I have a fenced yard with a very friendly pup at home. I can also let your pet in and out of crates, give treats and/or medications, take them on walks, and anything else they may need.

Laura was awesome about introducing her dogs one by one and letting him get accustomed to her dogs and her home. She kept me up to date and make me feel a lot better about where he was and how he was doing. I would definitely use them again when we're in the Adirondacks!”

About: I have pet and house-sat a lot through out my life, I love making new animal friends!! I have experience giving medication, bathing, walking, hiking and chilling with both 🐈 and 🐕. I live in Bomoseen and work in Middlebury, if you need a drop in while you go out on the lake or need to take a day trip, I’m your girl! I have time to get your pets outside and active, and to give them lots of attention. I’m an extremely reliable, punctual person. I’m also quite tidy, should you need an overnight sitter, your place will be almost identical to how you left it.

Full time Executive Assistant, Part time adventurer. On weekends you can find me and my Bernedoodle Keene out exploring.
