They are both high energy young dogs, one 7 months and one 13 months old and we were worried that they were going to be a problem. Whether it’s walks and hikes, or snuggles on the couch, we’ve got it taken care of. So that pick ups and drop offs are smooth, efficient and pleasant, we bring our dogs inside just prior to transitions. With that said, timing and punctuality are important to us that everyone has a great time, all of the time. Our schedules are generally wide open and one of us is always home, so we’d prefer you’d be hours late where we know as soon as you do, versus 15-20 minutes behind schedule without our awareness. This keeps our anticipation & transition windows short so everyone can have as much freedom as our space allows. Our phones are always on and active, so we’re never difficult to reach. About: I’ve taken care of many pets in my life as I used to live on a farm growing up. I treat them all as if they’re my kids. I have a part time job as a nurse at a nursing home and I have two children in the home but over the ages of 15, other than that I have no young kids or other pets. I have a fenced yard with plenty of room to play! As well I have a park 2 mins from my home that I can take any pet I’m caring for.
About: We have had dogs in the house since I was three years old and we were all responsible for caring for them. I’ve seen dogs through the puppy and training stage to the old age medication and care stage. My dogs were big Labradors, and I dog sat for many people with medium and small dogs at all stages of their lives. There’s not much your dog could throw at me that I wouldn’t handle with confidence and experience! I am currently attending an acting conservatory, the only days that that takes up my whole day are Thursdays and Friday's. Mondays and Tuesdays I’m free after 2, and Wednesdays I am free until 1! Weekends my schedule is wide open and I can work any time, and I am available every night of the week for overnights! With all the animals that have gone through my home growing up I know every pet is different. I follow the owners lead when it comes to how to care for them and never try to push my personal pet care habits on anyone. Everyone has a different relationship with their pet and I am here to respect and emulate that as best I can when you have to be away from your best friend! You and your pet are the boss!

About: I grew up taking care of dogs since I was a child and treat them like family. I'm not able to have a pet at my current apartment so I'm looking to share my love, care, and affection with your fur babies while you feel comfortable and secure knowing they are with a sitter that genuinely cares about them and their well being. My schedule is rather flexible at this time in my life due to changes. I am looking for clients mostly in the Guilderland/ Colonie area due to certain transportation restrictions, but I am mobile locally. I am exceptionally good at reading body language on animals. I am also a firm believer of not forcing physical attention on animals if they are not comfortable. All it takes is a little time and kindness for them to come around to you.
