“We highly recommend Amy! Amy was very welcoming and listened to my concerns at drop off. We were able to relax and enjoy our visit with family knowing that our girls were being so well cared for. We got pictures and updates daily and could see that the girls were having a good time. We will definitely contact Amy next time we come out this way.”

“Baxter loves his sleep-overs with Steve and Patty. As soon as we round the corner to their home he gets so excited, his tail is wagging and I barely have time to open the door to let him out. It is very reasuring to know that he is safe and well provided for. There are plenty of buddies for him to play with. Thank yo Steve and Patty for taking such good care of my little boy.”

“Ms. Mary truly went above and beyond! She is definitely a “dog person” and manages having several dogs together well. This is the longest I have been away from my dog- about two weeks over the holidays. She sent 2-3 text updates with pictures every day. Her home and backyard are set up like a dog oasis, complete with a doggie deck (low steps and a ramp to get up) for sunbathing! She also gave my dog eyedrops daily and updated me on my dog’s eyes. My only concern was that my dog would want to stay at camp forever!”
“Charlene was so wonderful with our dog Apple. The best part was that she kept us feeling connected by sending us a few updates and pictures that showed Apple having fun and relaxed. It was just the right amount of reassurance that Apple was having a good time. She came back from her dogcation with a wagging tail! Would definitely book with Charlene again! Thanks!”

“During the introduction meeting Carolina and her family were all so welcoming and kind and Carolina was obviously on point professionally so I was completely comfortable with leaving Onyx with them. The appointment went very smoothly and I highly recommend her to anyone needing a dog-sitter.”

“Such an amazing sitter! We got sooo many photos and constant updates which was fantastic. Leia played in the big fenced in yard and cuddled on the couch and seemed to have a blast. Unfortunately she had an accident in the middle of the night (so sorry!!) and Alex was so nice and good about it. We hope to have Leia come back again!”

“Chip had a great time with Bee! He was there 4 nights, very responsive if we checked in and provided updates. Very flexible with pickup and drop off. Based off her pictures of him relaxing and how calm he is when we picked him up, he seemed to have a good time! Thank you Bee! -Maria”

“What can I say about Lorinda? She provided exceptional care for my two dogs on a two week private at home boarding at her house. Her communication and responsiveness was 10 out of 10. She was incredibly flexible and helpful with logistics and some special accommodations we needed. When the state got extended and the dogs ran out of food, she was kind enough to go to two different stores to pick up what they like. She is very professional and reliable, and I feel very comfortable being out of the country, knowing that my dogs are with her.”

“Luann was absolutely wonderful. My Willow is only 8 months old and had never stayed somewhere outside our home and was very anxious and unsettled at night. Luann made special accommodations for her, sacrificing her own sleep schedule to try and settle Willow. She also watched out for Leroy (our newly christened "tripod" dog as he was still healing from surgery. I cannot thank her enough and would recommend her to anyone looking for a safe place for their dog to stay.”

“Dana was wonderful! She sent us photos and video of our golden, Wally during his stay and also sent text messages to let us know how he was doing. We felt so comfortable leaving Wally in her care. Thank you so much Dana for taking such good care of our boy!”

About: I have had pets most of my life. I quit my job and started a non-profit, St. Lewis Foundation, which didnt work out, so all the animals in my care became my pets. They were mostly senior and unwanted animals, which is where my heart is. I am unemployed right now, looking for remote work . So I am home all day. I have the time to let your pup out as many times as he/she wants. If they are a little dog I will be right by their side. I am up 6a - 9p. I have 3 senior cats that sleep up high most of the day, so your pup needs to be okay with cats. All pups sleep with me in my king size bed (if they want to). I have a dog bed next to me in my office or a couch in front of a large front window. I have locked screen security doors in case your pup likes to sniff the air. Central AC (I like it cool) and heating. I have many balls and treats (if allowed) and would love to throw the ball a bit. Back yard is not huge but sufficient. All my dogs have passed and I am missing a dog so much but cant commit right now. So let me love on your pup!
“Shanea is amazing! She took care of our 6 month old picky labradoodle so well. She’s like his second family and had an awesome time. I would trust her to take care of your fur babies like they were her own.”

“Booked last minute and was very accommodating. I needed a day sitter for my 2 labs and received pictures/ updates thought the day. My dogs had a great day and were well cared for. Would definitely recommend and book again in the future.”

“Very responsive, excellent communication, and attentive while looking after my cats. I am very pleased with Samuel. I will definitely continue working with him. Highly recommend Samuel if you have cats.”

“Maddy took great care of my two cats while I was away. She provided pictures and a summary of what occurred during each visit. She was very responsive to messages. I would recommend Maddy as a pet sitter!”

“Kari did a wonderful job taking care of my cat, Marlo while I was away for a month. She left everything tidy so when I returned I didn’t have any cleanup to do. I really appreciated that. I highly recommend her.”

“Kara was on time for the meet and greet. She was engaging and showed genuine interest when we were talking. She has a quick smile which I liked. She got to meet Smoky but Joey was hiding under the bed because it was raining really hard and he hates the rain. It was a very positive meeting and we booked for Easter weekend. Gail”

“DelilahaLynn Was absolutely wonderful. She took care of my elderly cat and sent me wonderful pictures of him. Our trip ended up being extended, and she absolutely had no problem with taking care of him for a few more days. I will absolutely book her again when I go on my next trip. I believe you can trust your fur babies in her care.”
“Colleen checked in on my cats while I was out of town. She refilled food and water supply, and changed the waste bin for the automated litter box. She gave me photo updates of my cats greeting her at the door. I appreciated her services and would book again for whenever I am out of town.”

About: Since I was a baby, I have had many pet cats. I have had 9 cats over my life. I am also a licensed veterinary technician. I have experience with administering oral medications and injections. During the summer of 2024, I spent a month in Southern New Jersey volunteering at an animal rescue. During my time there, I helped a local rescue humanely trap feral cats from a cat colony. I fostered four from the colony. One of the cats turned into an adoption and is now my roommate in my apartment. I love all cats, especially the spicy ones. I have experience with cats of all ages, from 6 week kittens to senior cats with special needs. I also have experience will feral cats, therefore I can handle any difficult cat. I promise I will love your cat as much as my own.

About: I’ve been taking care of cats my whole life. My partner and I have had our lovely senior cat, pictured above, for over 2 years now. He’s a senior with chronic ear infections and needs special biweekly ear cleaning. I love taking care of all cats, and I know how special our older friends are. I am comfortable with medical care and all the love and cleaning that comes with taking care of cats.
“Helayna seemed very responsible and genuinely loves animals. However, prior to booking when I asked, she failed to honestly disclose how many pets she currently had in her household already. I was under the impression our easily-stressed out cat would be in a quiet home when that was not the case at all.”

“Jeanette was great! She took the time to meet Duncan before scheduling the drop-in visit and Duncan loved her! This was my first time using Rover for a drop-in visit and she sent some pictures which made me feel at ease. I would definitely re-book with her!”

About: I’ve owned dogs my whole life and helped train them when they were puppies. I have 1 dog and a cat right now, and love playing with, walking them, and cuddling. I worked at a doggy daycare for 2 years and as a pet groomer for under 1 year, and I also earned my Dog Training Certification through Animal Behavior College. I adore pets and always have, and I strive to make any pets day the best with whatever they need! I currently go to school and work part-time. Working part time allows me to have more time to play with your dogs. I am able to spend time with your pups on Mondays and Wednesdays anytime 12pm or after. Along with Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays at any time! The first thing I will always do with your pups is let them get to know me by letting them set the course of our greeting, if they are shy we go slower. Whatever the dog needs is my number one priority along with keeping the Pet Parent informed. I will always be attentive when watching your pup in your home, and if there is medication that needs to be administered I can do so properly with the exception of needles/shots.
“Grace is so caring and listened to my specific recommendations for Baxter which made me really happy. She Always shared photos and kept me updated on both visits. I will definitely call her again❤️🙏”

About: I grew up with a cat and have owned my own for about 2 1/2 years. One of my cats is highly energetic and struggles with anxiety so for any of your pets that need daily medications, I have plenty of experience administering oral medications. I also know that finding a sitter that I trust with my furbabies can be difficult, especially if they’ve only ever worked with dogs. Cats have their own unique needs and language. You want someone who can understand that and having my own kitties gives me that perspective. If you have any questions about how I can meet your cat care needs, please reach out!

“Helayna and her family were super sweet with Sherlock and took such great care of him! He has separation anxiety but seemed happy and relaxed when we came to pick him up. She also sent updates and photos / videos which is always appreciated 💜 Thank you so much!”

“This was my dog's first time with a Rover sitter. Lorinda did her best to get him settled. She understood he was not wanting to be social. She got her chair and stayed by him while he was in her fenced area. Couldn't ask for more.”

“Thank you Justin & Melissa for taking good care of Nick for me . I will definitely use your services in the near future. Thank you for being so accommodating for us . You’re the best . Thanks again Mike”

About: ** I took a break from Rover, but I’m happy to be back and excited to offer pet care again! (Est. Jan ‘26) 🐾✨ I bring over 5 years of hands-on experience from working at a local dog daycare, caring for dogs of all ages and personalities. I’m by no means a trainer, but have worked with one, and am comfortable training puppies on basic commands and have experience providing gentle, attentive care for senior dogs as well. I treat every dog like my own and always strive to make them feel safe, happy, and loved. I regularly dog sit for friends and family, so caring for animals is already built into my routine. I also currently have a crew of my own — 3 dogs (just welcomed a puppy in Dec. 2025) & have a flock of 24 chickens! As I continue using Rover, I’m excited to grow this into something more consistent, with the goal of potentially offering pet care full time in the future. Animals truly are a big part of my everyday life 🖤🐾 I’m able to be home and present, so pets get lots of attention, playtime, and care throughout the day. I also have dogs who do great with other dogs, which can be a fun and positive socialization experience when it’s a good fit. I have crates available if needed, extra bowls, and enrichment toys like snuffle mats and games to keep pets engaged and comfortable. My goal is always to make sure they feel comfortable, happy, and well cared for while you’re away.

About: For nearly 20years I’ve been caring for animals of all types. I have experience with Dogs, Cats, Rodents, Reptiles, and just about everything in between. Family, Friends, Neighbors, Co-Workers and Clients have relied on me to care for their furry family members & I’ve had furry family members of my own my whole life. I have worked with all ages and sizes, and am comfortable with pets with disabilities or medical needs. For the past 16years I’ve cared for people with disabilities as a Direct Support Professional. I am currently doing that as a part-time night shift, so I am available most days and eves, during the week and on weekends! I have loved many forms of my own pets and understand the importance of safety and trust that comes with caring for another’s loved one. I currently plan to do pet walking, play dates, and sitting in your home. May consider overnight stays. May consider boarding on case by case basis. Always open for requests, and again, will consider on a case by case basis.

About: I am just starting to my fourth career, playing with your companion. I recently retired from teaching sustainable development at UAlbany. I now spend my days outside with hairy friend Herman. I picked up my first stray, Bandit, at 9. I have had a at least one dog since then, I am now 63. All from shelters or strays. I also did doggie foster care too. Known to be gentle and friend of the furry ones. I start each day with a morning meander across the 25 acres on a dead end road. Your companion will be well exercised, loved and cared for as long as they get along with my 14 year old hairy friend Herman, who lets cats eat from his dishes. He runs the place when it comes to house rules. He does not have viscous bone in his body. After three careers and global travel I am recently retired. My days are spent gardening, walking, sitting on the porch, listening to music, etc. I am rarely gone more than a few hours as Herman, my four legged friend, needs special care at 14 years old. I am typically up before dawn, no dog or alarm necessary. My day typically begins with me waking predawn and greeting the new day with my hound Herman on the 25 acres we cohabitate. Most is abandoned agriculture returning to forest for 35 plus years that is bisected by a small babbling brook. Breakfast is then served before returning outside. In climate weather I am outside more than 70% of my day outside. At 14 he chooses to stay in sometimes. Your companion will be free to make their own choice too. My life ambition is to nurture life. I have cared for pets since I was born as my family had cats. There is a fenced area that includes four shaded area. There will be plenty of water, including a baby pool for play as well as sprinklers. This area is shares two fences lines with my garden, has direct access to a walk out basement, and is fully visible from my porch. The dogs will have near 24/7 personal attention and care. I live sustainably. There are no chemicals in my lawn or garden. I have an enclosed porch that in the summer is open air, but no steps to escape. Only with your permission would I walk a guest off leash. Before walking them off leash I will need feel 100% confident they respond to command when other distractions are present. Again with your permission I would take your friend to a fenced in dog park visit as a trial run. Herman, my housemate, is a happy healthy 14 year old he is my best reference. He also has final word on all guest of all species. About an 1/2 acre is fenced with direct access from the house through the basement door. It includes shaded doggie lounges, a baby pool in the summer, toys galore, and lots of attention as the space is adjacent to my garden and the covered porch. It has the capacity to be divided if unruly dog needs to be isolated or there are little ones that just need time away from the bigger ones. Indoors, dogs are free to roam in the basement and first floor. If they are cage trained I can accommodate that. The two beds are off limits. To prevent misunderstanding with bed loving dogs I will keep my guest room. Both the porch and the living room couches are fine. Little ones may use chairs too. The house is really set up for Herman’s comfort and safety. The 32x10 covered front porch is a favorite of Herman and all his visiting friends. Your hairy friend will be delighted by this feature too. One more thing, the hardwood floors are currently covered in rubber “yoga mats” as Herman can not cope with slippery floors. There are also many large dog beds that Herman is happy to share. Opps, where are our manners; welcome to our slice of Paradise!😊

I had two dogs of my own for over 15 years and have cared for many rescue dogs with a wide range of personalities and needs. I’m patient, reliable, and especially comfortable with shy, nervous, or high-energy dogs. I focus on keeping pets safe, comfortable, and on their normal routine while they’re in my care. I do have cats in my home, so dogs staying with me should be cat-friendly. References are available upon request. “Pet care is a central part of my daily routine. I work part-time overnight, which means I’m home and available throughout the day for walks, supervision, and consistent care. I also run a nonprofit animal rescue from my home, so caring for animals is something I’m actively doing every day. My routine is built around feeding schedules, exercise, cleaning, and making sure each animal gets individual attention. Because of this, I’m very used to managing different needs while keeping a calm, structured environment.” depends on each pet’s routine and comfort level, but I always aim to keep things as consistent and low-stress as possible. In my home, I provide a calm, structured environment with regular feeding schedules, exercise, and plenty of supervision throughout the day. Dogs get daily walks, enrichment, and individual attention. I take introductions slowly and make sure everyone is safe and comfortable. In a client’s home, I stick closely to your pet’s normal routine—feeding, walks, playtime, and any medications if needed—while also keeping your home clean and respected. I pay attention to behavior and body language and adjust care based on what each pet needs. My goal is always to make pets feel secure and well cared for, whether they’re in my home or staying in theirs
“Thank you so much to Shanea and family for caring for our Boy during a busy trip, and being so lovely and patient with a rapidly changing schedule. We would definitely book Shanea again anytime we are in town!”

About: I have a small dog, an indoor piggy, and a caged bird. I have grown up with pets, and always make sure they are properly taken care of. I love all animals, and strive to provide them the best stay possible. I am currently working part-time, so I have plenty of time to spend with the fur babies! I enjoy walking in the morning and evening, and if your pup enjoys that they can tag along! The animals will be taken care of just as my own. My dog is spoiled, and loves to snuggle. She’s is not aggressive towards other dogs, she just prefers humans. The animals are allowed on furniture and allowed to sleep in bed with Charlie and myself; as my home is their home for the duration of their stay!

“Maddy went above and beyond for us. We were travelling and she was kind enough to take our dogs for a walk and feed them from our hotel room while we enjoyed the NASCAR race. Maddy was very responsive and made us feel our dogs were in very good hands. I highly recommend Maddy and her exceptional services. The dogs give high paws!!”

If your dog is staying at my house I’d like to have my dog meet yours to see how they interact together. My dog is very friendly and good with other animals. I do have a crate if needed in my house.
“This iwas my second booking with Celia, and she’s the best!! My Gracie, and my grandpuppy Gemma adore her! She is super communicative and trully loves the pups in her care. Highly recommend! 10/10”

“Colleen is excellent. She took great care of my puppy. She noticed a sore/ hotspot and arranged for us to get in to see her vet the same day and even volunteered to take him if my schedule didn’t allow.”

About: Walks every 2-3 hours playtime feedings and bathing if necessary can help with training puppies like potty training or just commands if needed.. will provide the supplies for potty training Pet care fits in well, I don't work and the only time I won't be able to accept a request is if I have a appointment I don't have pets anymore but I used to feed them take on good walks and have play time I live in a gated community so leash will be required unless the owner says it's good with commands
About: I’ve been pet sitting alone for about 8 years now! Friends, neighbors, and other folks have relied on me to feed and walk their pets as well as house sit. I’ve worked with cats, dogs, almost all domestic farm species, amphibians, reptiles, and fish. I’ve just graduated UVM with an Animal Science degree, where I’ve taken helpful classes such as Intro To Exotic Pet Care class and Canine Behavior where I trained local shelter dogs. Through my studies, I’ve learned about nutrition, anatomy, welfare, husbandry, and diseases/ailments for many species. I’ve worked with a lot of senior animals who have a variety of backgrounds at a farm sanctuary, so I’m comfortable working with pets with special needs. I’ve also been working as an ICH Tech at an equine clinic so I am comfortable with medications such as injections as well. I love talking about my experience and am happy to answer any questions people may have! I love going for walks and hiking! The outdoors are so beautiful and even more lovely when you get to share them with a pet. Early morning walks are my personal favorite. Pet visits also work well in my schedule. I don't mind stopping by to let a pet out, feed, clean, and provide enrichment. I love reading and am happy to hang out with pets outside while I do so. Clear communication and meeting the needs of the client are the most important pieces to pet care to me. I like to take notes about expectations and routines, such as feeding or play time, that way I can provide pets with the most consistency and familiarity I can. I like to update folks about their pets by sending photos and messages. And I keep my phone nearby with notifications on throughout my time so that I am available if folks have any questions, concerns, or are just missing their pet and would like a picture!
About: Animals and nature have been my greatest passion for as long as I can remember. I’ve been exposed to, and well acquainted to a variety of animals, including fish, rodents, reptiles, dogs, cats, horses, chickens, and even a baby squirrel rescue! I am also a volunteer dog walker at my local shelter, which is my therapy and brings me great happiness. I have two dogs of my own that I’ve raised since they were eight weeks old. They are my entire world. I am knowledgeable in basic dog training and obedience, and very observant and understanding of animal behavior. Nothing brings me more joy and happiness in life than being surrounded by the love and purity of animals. I currently have open availability. I have a very flexible and adaptable schedule and I am open to what works best for you and your pets needs. I am with my dogs all day everyday. They get all of my love and attention. I constantly monitor for potential hazards and act accordingly in order to limit any risks. Cleanliness and order is my main priority as I value a clean and tidy home. I have fresh water out all day and I feed them twice a day. My dogs get a specialized high end kibble which I supplement with fresh meat, organ, eggs, fruits, veggies, goats milk, coconut oil, bone broth, salmon oil, turmeric and a daily vitamin. I wash my dogs as needed or every two weeks. I brush their teeth, fur, and clip their nails weekly as well. I only have high quality chew bones and other toys available that don’t pose a risk as my dogs are heavy chewers.
About: Starting from a young age I knew I needed to be a pet care provider. Starting in high school I worked at several barns providing care for various livestock and companion animal species alike. While I love our livestock, I find more fulfillment in helping our household pets. I’m currently working on an animal care and behavior degree, and work at an animal hospital. I have experience in giving oral medications (to both dogs and cats) as well as subcutaneous fluids. I’ve managed several complex medication plans and understand how important a regular routine is for our pets. If you think we would be a good fit please reach out with any questions you may have. I do work full-time during work days, however, I can accommodate your pets needs during the day as long as we have clear communication. Aside from my full time work schedule, I’m dedicated to making sure your pets get the highest quality of care possible. Every pet is different! What works for one animal may throw your own pet into a panic and I’m here to make sure we can create a routine for your pet that makes them the most comfortable when you can’t be there. If your dog needs outside time and you don’t have a yard, let’s find the closest park or walking trail! Do your pets become anxious over night? I’ll be there to snuggle their worries away and provide all the pepperoni and churu they could ask for. Whatever your pets needs are, we’ll have an open line for communication throughout their time with me to ensure both you and them are happy.
About: I've been volunteering at humane society for a couple years as a dog walker. I've been told that I do a great job with the dogs. Also I'm a reliable and punctual employee. I'm working part time and only work a couple days a week, so I will have plenty of time to walk and take care of your dogs. I will treat your dogs with the upmost respect. I have 4 cats of my own, and I scoop their litter, and I had dogs that I would feed and walk.
About: We’ve had a family cat for 17 years, and I’ve been a pet parent on my own for the last (almost) 6 years. I own a cattle dog named Ruby, and a cat named Harper. Former groomer (1.5 years). Former vet assistant, so I'm comfortable giving medications. Ask about nail trims or basic grooming needs! I’m the proud mom of a cattle dog and a kitty, and hooman sister to a cattle dog and an old lady cat. Huge animal lover, former dog groomer (1.5 years) and vet assistant. I treat each animal with the same respect as if they were my own. I promise, if they let me, I will absolutely love on them as much as they allow. I am clean, quiet and love giving cuddles and head scratches. I have almost 3 years of professional animal handling experience between grooming and working in the vet office and 17 years of having an animal in my home to care for.
About: I am a lover of all pets and have experience ranging from stopping by for bathroom breaks/feeding to overnight house sitting. I have been relied on to walk, feed, and give medication to cats and dogs. I am comfortable with all size pets. I am a young adult with no children and work 8am-4pm, Monday-Friday. I am able to work from home once and month and around the holidays from September to mid-May. I work from home once a week in the summer months. I am also able to leave for lunch so I can easily pop over on my lunch break. After work, I usually just relax and go to the gym so, I would love to be accompanied by your pet! Unfortunately, someone in my household has a pet allergy, but I am more than to stay at the caregiver’s home where the pet is more comfortable. I will follow and comply to any care instructions. I respect others’ spaces and belongings and will leave your home exactly as you left it, if not cleaner (I love cleaning). I have been trusted in others home’s before and understand the significance of that trust. My goal is to keep your pet as comfortable as possible while you are away and I am happy to accommodate all needs to do so! I love cuddles and will play with them. I realize an owner’s absence is usually stressful for pets, and both you and your pet should feel like they’re in good hands! I don’t have a pet of my own, so I will love and give them all the attention they need (:
About: I’ve cared for family and friend’s pets for over 20 years. I’ve been a foster mom and I have 5 dogs of all sizes and ages. I am currently working part time so I am able to spend plenty of time playing and walking with your fur baby as needed during the week and sometimes on weekends. Currently, I am looking for opportunities to play and walk with your fur baby. As I do not have a fenced yard to board them at this time.
About: I have watched tons of dogs and stayed at peoples houses for months at a time. I have taken care of puppies, senior, sick, and everything in between. I am well trained with dogs and do agility with mine. Staying at your house allows your dog to be where they are the most comfortable! I’m a recent graduate and have been dog sitting for 7 years. I will continue to dog sit until I land my post grad job! I make your dogs feel comfortable with me and follow the most similar patterns as you would if you were there looking after them. I treat your dogs with the upmost care and love. I often treat them with a special pup cup every time I watch them!!! I’ll also make sure to send you tons of pictures.
About: I have taken care of pets my whole life. Many different kinds, including dogs, cats, ferrets, rats, etc. I will treat your pet with love and kindness. I have a job where I make my own schedule. If you decide to board your pet with me, I will be on premises at all times. For boarding, I have a decent size fenced in back yard. I do have a 7 year old husky that has gone to daycare. He's been around a lot of different dogs. If your dog needs to be crated, I can do that as well. I am available to come feed your animal in your home. I can let them out and walk them if needed.
