About: I've taken care of pets since I was a child-- growing up with a large breed and small dog and two cats-- I've always loved animals. I have a large breed dog named Chewbacca and an adult indoor cat named Chase. Both are friendly with other animals, easy going, and playful. I work from home most days so I'm very available! I'm here in my house and I'm happy to offer lots of love, comfort, cuddles, and address any special dietary or medical needs when your pet stays with me! My older large dog is very sweet and sleeps most of the day, but he enjoys playing with other dogs and otherwise is great with cats and any other animals he encounters! I have a large fenced yard on just over an acre outside of Ithaca. Dogs can run and are very happy here when visiting! I have boarded two dogs for a friend and provided drop-in visits for a former neighbor for about a year after that and worked at a pet hotel from '17-'19 in which time I got a dog training certification. I have some experience taking care of mice and hamsters and would like to learn how to care for rats and snakes. About: I can't wait to meet your doggies! We’ve rescued a few bulldogs in the past and I am comfortable taking care of dogs with special needs but love all kinds. We currently have 2 senior fur babies, and a young Chihuahua. I have pet sit for friends and family and am excited to make new furry friends. I work a 9-5 remote job, so I have lots of flexibility and my evenings and weekends are free. I love taking my doggies for walks. If your dog loves car rides, like mine does I am happy to bring them on adventures. I have lots of toys to play with! I am happy to host dogs in my home or go to them. Any dogs that stay with me can be kept with my dogs or separated.
