“Kelly went above & beyond to keep Duke engaged and comfortable. She was highly attentive, picking up on all his behavioral communication, which can be subtle sometimes. I'm not sure if she's a natural Dog Whisperer or it's from years of experience, but it's definitely a skill I don't take for granted. I only needed him to be out from under my feet for one day, but she gave him the full vacation treatment. She kept me updated throughout the day with detailed check ins, which I really appreciated, noting his responses to the new environment, how he was interacting with the household, his appetite, his energy levels. She took the time to take a lot of photos, as well, so I could see for myself how he was behaving. Duke returned to me happy & rested - if I ever need to send him away to "camp" again, I'll definitely call Kelly.”

About: For any and all services I provide I will be seeking guidance from the pet owner for preferred handling as people treat their pets differently (allowed on furniture, leash vs off leash, feeding times, etc.) Most of my pet sitting experience has been at their home and i have cared for up to four dogs and two cats (plus chickens and fish). I have also babysat for a cat and a few different dogs at my place. I enjoy an active lifestyle and live near state lands so lots of hiking is usually on the agenda (for dogs anyway). I recently put down my aging cat and have found life is lonely without him, but I am not ready to replace him just yet. Rover seems like a great way to get my fix and earn some extra money along the way. I work full time Monday through Friday and have hour long lunch breaks if midday breaks are needed for your pets. Weekends are for serious play! I live on a low traffic road near a state forest. Access to trails from my back door and a large (unfenced) yard to roam. When staying in someone’s home I treat it like my own with care.

House trained dogs have freedom in our home. We’re suckers who allow pets on furniture and provide all the love and cuddles needed to make them comfortable. We have plenty of room for crates if your pup is more comfortable in one. In your home, I will follow your house rules. Depending on location, I can come and visit or stay overnight. About: My family is a dog family through and through. I grew up with two dogs in the household at all times, and the rule still stands. Animals have always been a part of my life no matter the lens you look through. Living in a friendly neighborhood allowed me to care for other dogs since I was 12. From sitting, to walking, to simply feeding, I was normally the one to do it! I am an energetic 22 year old who adores playing with any and every furry friend and to get paid doing it!? Sign me up!! Currently, I am an upcoming senior at Bloomsburg University. I am studying Secondary Education with a concentration in English so there is not much work for me to do in the summer since school is out and there is no work in the districts. I don't find much gross in regards to sickness, medical conditions, excitement pees, or simply slobber because I have surely seen it all. Your furry friend is of upmost importance when I am with them so I swear to never put them in harms way (ie. sketchy roads, carelessness in and out of the house, pulling on their collar when walking, etc.).

About: Since I was little i have always loved spending time with animals. I got my first dog when I was in 3rd grade and ever since then I have been taking care of dogs. About: I've always had dogs & cats growing up. Recently, my husband & I rescued a puppy from North Carolina, named Mack. He is the light of our life. I love to be around dogs, and want to ensure they get the best care, whether that be walking or playing ball/fetch, or just snuggles. My goal of Rover is to be the home away from home for your fur babies. I want to ensure that you know/are reassured your fur babies are well loved, cared for, and looked after. I work M-F 8am-4pm (roughly), so I am available for any after work or weekend assistance. I have a fully fenced in yard for my dog to play in. We play ball multiple times throughout the day. He is up to date on his vaccines, and we ensure that he receives any care he might need. I am trained to notice any significant behaviors or concerns, and will address this ASAP.

About: I've loved caring for pets for family and friends over the years. Moved away from home so looking to keep that same experience around here. I'm generally off on Sundays and Mondays for work, and live close enough for potty breaks and I make my own schedule if enough notice is given. About: I actively foster dogs/puppies on a consistent basis for several years. I've worked with the same Animal Rescue for a long period of time and have experience with many different situations. With the Rescue I regularly handle different scenarios and medical needs, from new born pups to seniors! I'm comfortable with all shapes, sizes, and medical history. Most temperaments I have lots of experience with as well. I work from home full-time. I'm home all day every day Monday-Friday. My weekends only consist of a few errands making me gone for no longer than 4-5 hours at a time. I have a 7ft tall, fully fenced, back yard. I can kennel a dog if needed, but generally they would be out hanging with me. No dog will be left unattended, inside or outside, for long periods of time. About: Took care of animals via husbandry, socializing, feeding and watering, litter changing, etc.! Learned how to properly take care of animals, and how to make animals mostly happy. Also learned what health signs to look for when needed. I’m currently job hunting, so I have all the time to make sure dogs and cats are fed, watered, socialized for a while, and aren’t alone. Your cats and dogs deserve to be recognized by true animal lovers! I can make sure dogs is maintained if needed, and that the cat has friends (mine). About: I have been house sitting/pet sitting since I was 14 years old. I am very reliable and have a flexible working schedule aside from Rover. Pet sitting from me will encourage your animals to still feel loved when you can't be there and decrease their loneliness when you are away. About: I helped care for family dogs and cats since I was about five years old, feeding, giving water, walking and cleaning up after them until I was 18. I have boarded two dogs for a friend and provided drop-in visits for a former neighbor for about a year after that and worked at a pet hotel from '17-'19 in which time I got a dog training certification. I have some experience taking care of mice and hamsters and would like to learn how to care for rats and snakes. I'm currently looking for part-time work and would be more than happy to provide the love and care that your fur babies require in your absence. I'm also a newer driver and could really use the experience. Afternoons and evenings work best but please don't be shy about asking for morning services. Depending on the service and your pet's needs, I will spend as much time as they need whether it be a brief or long walk, cuddling on the couch, etc. I will be working part-time starting April 14, 2024. I will have a schedule ready sometime afterwards. Hopefully it will be in the next few weeks. I will keep your pet indoors for the most part, depending on the pet. I prefer to keep dogs on a leash when they go out for walks and to potty unless there is a fenced in yard.

About: I’ve cared for family and friend’s pets for over 20 years. I’ve been a foster mom and I have 5 dogs of all sizes and ages. I am currently working part time so I am able to spend plenty of time playing and walking with your fur baby as needed during the week and sometimes on weekends. Currently, I am looking for opportunities to play and walk with your fur baby. As I do not have a fenced yard to board them at this time.

“Kelly went above & beyond to keep Duke engaged and comfortable. She was highly attentive, picking up on all his behavioral communication, which can be subtle sometimes. I'm not sure if she's a natural Dog Whisperer or it's from years of experience, but it's definitely a skill I don't take for granted. I only needed him to be out from under my feet for one day, but she gave him the full vacation treatment. She kept me updated throughout the day with detailed check ins, which I really appreciated, noting his responses to the new environment, how he was interacting with the household, his appetite, his energy levels. She took the time to take a lot of photos, as well, so I could see for myself how he was behaving. Duke returned to me happy & rested - if I ever need to send him away to "camp" again, I'll definitely call Kelly.”

About: For any and all services I provide I will be seeking guidance from the pet owner for preferred handling as people treat their pets differently (allowed on furniture, leash vs off leash, feeding times, etc.) Most of my pet sitting experience has been at their home and i have cared for up to four dogs and two cats (plus chickens and fish). I have also babysat for a cat and a few different dogs at my place. I enjoy an active lifestyle and live near state lands so lots of hiking is usually on the agenda (for dogs anyway). I recently put down my aging cat and have found life is lonely without him, but I am not ready to replace him just yet. Rover seems like a great way to get my fix and earn some extra money along the way. I work full time Monday through Friday and have hour long lunch breaks if midday breaks are needed for your pets. Weekends are for serious play! I live on a low traffic road near a state forest. Access to trails from my back door and a large (unfenced) yard to roam. When staying in someone’s home I treat it like my own with care.
About: Aside from my own pets over the years, I’ve also provided care and comfort to pets of family and friends. Whether in my home or yours, I will treat your pets as if they were my own. I know how hard it is to find a safe place for our fur babies when we have to travel. Our pittie mutt, Hank, can’t wait to meet your pups! I recently retired after 36 years of teaching and have lots of free time to care for your fur babies. We have a large fenced in deck (and pool for our swimmers). Our 12 acres are not fenced but are cleared for easy walks, on or off lead as desired. Our home sits well off the main road. We’re not opposed to taking pups for rides in our side by side. House trained dogs have freedom in our home. We’re suckers who allow pets on furniture and provide all the love and cuddles needed to make them comfortable. We have plenty of room for crates if your pup is more comfortable in one. In your home, I will follow your house rules. Depending on location, I can come and visit or stay overnight. I can bring mail and packages in for you and take care of your plants. 🪴
