“Polina was so good with our puppy. This was the 1st time we had our puppy stayed at someone else’s home since we got her. And I am pretty sure our Puppy enjoyed it too. Thank you Polina.”

“Christine and Matthew took such great care of Shiba. They treated her like part of their family and made sure she felt comfortable and loved the entire stay. I got regular updates and photos, and I felt completely at ease knowing she was in such good hands. Shiba came home happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for. I would absolutely book with Christine and Matthew again and recommend them to anyone looking for trustworthy, caring sitters!”

“Another wonderful stay for our pups with Debbie. She and her husband are wonderful with the dogs. She will be our first contact when we need someone to watch the dogs. Highly recommended!!”

“Nina was a lifesaver! She was able to schedule a meet and greet, and book our dog for the weekend with short notice. She was very communicative. We received updates, and pictures, which was so appreciated. Our dog seemed very content during his stay with Nina. We are looking forward to using her again!”

“Our plans fell through at the last minute for Rory and Rachel was very flexible for the stay. Rory was initially sad that we were leaving her but after just one night with Rachel and her family, Rory was sad to be leaving them. It was clear that Rachel took great care of Rory during the stay! Would recommend.”

“Mary was the perfect match for our elderly dog: she is patient and caring. Mary has her home and yard set up for every dog's optimal comfort, which we especially appreciated since our dog has arthritis. Ella, our 15 year-old papillon, loved her!”

“I can’t say enough about how wonderful Tawni was with my dog, Ivy Rose. This was a last-minute request and I was so nervous to leave Ivy while we went to the beach — I even cried when I left her. Tawni immediately reassured me that Ivy would be in great hands. She kept in constant contact the entire time, sending lots of updates and pictures, which truly gave me peace of mind. What really stood out is how mindful she was of Ivy’s temperament. Ivy can be apprehensive in new situations, and Tawni went out of her way to read her body language, respect her comfort zone, and make sure others gave her space. She even made sure Ivy was the only dog in her care, adjusting her schedule so my girl could feel completely safe. It’s rare to find someone so caring, attentive, and communicative. Tawni went above and beyond, and I’m so grateful for the love and attention she gave Ivy. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for someone who treats your pet like family.”

“Kiera took such wonderful care of my senior guy! I dropped him off at her home while I moved into my new place and I had such peace of mind knowing he was in good hands. Kiera sent me pics and videos of Chico playing and out on walks with her sweet senior girl! I will definitely bring Chico back to Kiera’s in the future.”

“Three days before our vacation, our usual kennel had to cancel. Thank goodness for Ashley and Brian. I felt pretty comfortable on our initial discussions but have since realized that maybe this was a blessing in disguise. I really appreciated Ashley’s morning updates of pictures and how things were going. Her updates made me feel like she was getting to know my dog and he had a lot more one on one attention than he did with so many other dogs at the kennel. Nobody likes to leave their pets behind but if we have to, you want them to be well cared for. And with Ashley and Brian, he was. Thank you!!”

“The Huijin household was wonderful to work with, and they were outstanding with my baby boy. I would recommend them to anyone, and will definitely attempt to use them again in the future.”

“Meghan was awesome, she took great care of my dog and kept me updated throughout the stay, she's also a great photographer so you'd get nice shots of your pets, a 100% recommended.”

“Very happy with my dog's stay. The carers obviously have a passion for the craft and my dog came out happy and energetic with lots of joy after her 2 night stay!”

“I cannot say enough amazing things about our experience with Becky! From our first interaction, it was clear how genuinely caring, responsible, and attentive they were. She took the time to get to know our dog’s personality and little quirks, which immediately put us at ease. Throughout the stay, we received consistent updates, photos, and thoughtful check-ins that made it so easy to relax knowing our pup was in such great hands. It honestly felt like our dog was on their own little vacation. What really stood out was the level of detail and effort. Becky and her daughter went above and beyond in every way. Whether it was sticking to her feeding and supplement schedules, making sure our dog got plenty of love and attention, extra attention to her needs (it was a change of seasons aka shedding time and they gave her lots of extra care and brushing to keep her comfortable!), it was all so appreciated. It’s not easy to trust someone with your pet, but I would 100% book Becky again without hesitation and recommend her to absolutely anyone. If you’re looking for someone who will treat your dog like their own, you’ve found the one!”

“Being our first board with our puppy we were very apprehensive. We got numerous photos from Jocelyn a day. Many including her family. Really put us at ease. Definitely would bring her back.”

“Staci was absolutely wonderful - we will definitely be using her again! Before we left Ozzie in her care, she was happy to meet over facetime and then in person to make sure we were comfortable. She was calm and warm, and sent us plenty of pictures so we could see how happy our little guy was! She is reliable, kind, and clearly a dog lover, and she took excellent care of Ozzie! Five stars!!”

“Thomas was amazing with our two pups. He's fully invested and cares so deeply about their well-being. We never had any reservations about their week long stay with him. His updates and pictures were so helpful. It put our minds at ease to know they were happy and well cared for while we were away.”

“This was our first time using rover for our 2 cats. They are super anxious kitties and Natalie was awesome. She kept me updated on them and I didn’t have to worry about a thing!”

“Anastasia was such an awesome buddy to my super special cat! Thanks so much for taking such wonderful care of her while I was away- it means a lot to know she is in good hands ❤️”

“Adriana was wonderful! It meant a lot to me that she spent most of the time during her visits hanging out with my kitties, making sure they were happy and got attention while I was gone. She left very detailed notes and let me know if anything was out of the ordinary. She took great care of them, and even got my very shy cats to come out of their shell! She made me feel very assured that they were in good hands while I was gone!”

“Bridget took care of our two cats during drop in visits for three days, keeping them fed, clean and entertained, and even trimmed their nails! It was such a peace of mind knowing they were in competent hands and safe. Our very social cats also really appreciated having someone play with them!”

“Did a great job with drop-ins for our three cats over Christmas! Our senior cat gets daily medication and our other two have their own quirks. I was confident they were safe and being cared for with great communication and pictures.”

“My cat felt safe interacting and snuggling up to John within minutes of first meeting him, and I think it’s because of John’s calm, intentional, gentle presence and demeanor. I couldn’t believe this is his first time cat-sitting because he was so good with my cat. He was quick to respond and was communicative throughout the visits, and asked many questions to get to know my cat’s routines and preferences. John was so polite and easygoing. He went above and beyond caring for my cat for the weekend, and this was a last minute scheduling given last minute plans. So grateful for John.”

“Katie did a great job looking after my two cats! I can tell how much attention they get when I’m away by how calm they are when I get home, and they were super chill this time, meaning they weren’t starved for attention. She was also wonderful about updating me every day, and she left the house clean and tidy. I’m already planning to book her again.”

About: What sets me apart is the personalized care and attention I give every pet. I take the time to learn each pet's routine, personality, and individual needs so they feel comfortable, safe, and loved while you're away. I provide regular updates with photos and messages, so you'll always know how your pet is doing. Whether your pet loves long walks, interactive play, or simply relaxing with a companion, I'll make sure they receive the care, exercise, and affection they deserve. My goal is to make every pet feel at home and give owners complete peace of mind. I’m currently working a part time job so I will have plenty of time to play and give them plenty of love while I’m there. When caring for pets in a client's home, I work to keep their routine as consistent as possible to reduce stress. I provide feeding, fresh water, walks, playtime, litter box or waste cleanup, medication if needed, and lots of attention. I also respect my client's home by keeping it clean and secure, providing updates and photos, and communicating promptly about how their pet is doing.
About: I have taken care of dogs ever since I was little. I've always had dogs growing up. I currently have a 4 year old Pomeranian. I'm currently working from my home which leaves me a lot of time to spend with your fur babies! I currently don't have any specific times that I'm not available. I also have room for crating if needed. I work full time from home and can prove all the care that your fur babies need and let them out every hour, feed them, play with them and walk them. I have a fenced in yard and a dog of my own to keep yours busy and company. I can also crate train your puppies if needed. I currently work from home and run 3 of my own businesses so have all the time to spend with your pets and keep them busy. I do not have a fenced in yard but I have a lead and make sure nothing happens to them. I also go outside with them when they are out there so they aren't alone.
About: I grew up with two cats, so I love cats as well as dogs. In 2019, I adopted an incredibly loving, gorgeous lab pit named Lucy, and she keeps me very active every day! She was a rescue dog, and although we were originally fostering her, I bonded with her too much to let her go. I’ve always been a natural introvert and have been drawn to the compassion of animals. I believe we can learn more about our own humanity through caring for animals. I look forward to meeting your amazing furry friends! In addition to Rover, I substitute teach right now, and this allows me to have a very flexible schedule. It's closer to part-time than full-time. My priority is to listen and adapt to each client’s needs/preferences, so that both the client and their pets will be as happy as possible.

About: I don't remember a time when I haven't had an animal in my life! I grew up with both cats and dogs and enjoy taking care of both! Family members, neighbors, and friends have had me watch their cats of all ages and breeds! My favorite breed is black cats! I love playing with pets and giving them the love and attention they deserve!
“I had a great experience with drop-in visits! He met all expectations, communicated consistently, and sent pictures every time. I will definitely be asking him back next time I go out of town. Highly recommend!”

Perfect for high energy dogs - Cazenovia
Prices are estimates per day. Pricing may vary based on your search. A booking fee of 11% and taxes will apply.
About: I have 6+ years of taking care of my 2 jack Russell’s, neighbors dogs + cats in 3 different states and my boyfriends parents 2 cats (1 disabled). Promptly giving medicine to those animals in need for specific time, and patience tending to their attentions and needs. I work full time remote M-Thursday 8am-4pm with an hour and half lunch break each day. I work 3x a week part time on site and can be flexible as needed. I have a high energy dog (Jack Russell) that requires a lot of assertiveness and strict use of instruction. But at the same time requires rewards and playtime. I love to care for animals, but also care about the safety of myself, and owners property always keeping that at a #1 priority of my surroundings and the pets safety and better interest of the owner.
“Suanny took good care of our furry girl and was flexible and responsive with drop off and pick up. Brownie was very happy and calm at pick up. Highly recommend!”

About: I’ve always been an animal lover and have experience caring for dogs and cats of all sizes, ages, and personalities. I’ve helped with daily walks, feeding routines, administering basic medications, and providing lots of attention and companionship. I understand how important it is to keep pets on their normal routine, and I make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I treat every pet like they’re my own and prioritize clear communication with regular updates and photos. I have a fully fenced in backyard (although I can also take your pet for walks as well if preferred!) and am available to give lots of cuddles all day as I work from home full time! I work remote full time and have a fully fenced in back yard so I am able to watch your dog or cat full time. On the weekends I am usually out hiking or with friends, and can take your pet on those adventures as well! I also have a small 30 lb house trained and friendly doggy named Ramsey who is always down to play and/or nap :) I am able to give your pet around the clock care as I work from home, and my dog Ramsey is always ready to make new friends! I do allow pets on the furniture, just not in my bed, and have a fully fenced in yard for playtime, as well as the ability to take your furry friend on walks as well! Please let me know what your needs are, I want their stay to be as comfortable as possible!
About: I’ve had multiple dogs all my life and raised plenty of puppies. All kinds of dogs are my favorite people! They bring so much joy and energy to life I have 6 of my own dogs and live on a farm, so walking the fields and woods on our property is a daily occurrence. My dogs truly run my life! Lol I have a large fenced back yard as well as 50 acres to walk with them. There are dog doors to the fenced yard and my pack of 6 dogs provide plenty of entertainment and exercise for visiting pups.
“Deborah and her daughter were amazing with my dog, Rudy! I got a lot of updates during the day, which I loved. It is such a relief knowing when your fur baby is in good hands, and you definitely get that here! They will 100% be my go-to sitters. Thank you Deborah!!”

“Susan had been watching our dog, Ivy, since she was a puppy and I can’t say enough about how much love and care she has received. Susan treats Ivy like her very own and showers her with affection. Whether it’s for a day or a week’s stay, I highly recommend her!”

About: No dog deserves the kennel! Why settle for the pound when they can spend a night in a home with an owner-on-loan; either in your house on in a house that has raised two other pets from puppyhood to old age? Admittedly, there are stairs and hardwood floors in my house, but I have bought several carpets for my old dog to move around on and can lay them down for your dog’s convenience. We also have a big backyard that your dog will love to run around in (and no predators, unless you count woodchucks and geese) and a long leash that can go all the way to the end of the property line. I love dogs and after a day with me, your furry friend will mistake me for his mother. I’m most busy Wednesdays-Thursdays, so I marked them out on the calendar, but if petsitting is required for several days, that is easy to accommodate! I also don’t mind waking up every few hours to take a dog out—I have not quite reached the age where sleep is important. I won’t allow your dog to roam around outside unleashed (sorry, but I don’t want to lose them!), but when they’re outside, I’ll make sure they have the freedom to run around to their heart’s content. Additionally, I’m willing to walk them in any weather they’ll put up with and even let them sleep on the couch/spare bed, if they’re not too dirty.
“I’ve brought my dog Shifu to Irina for day care twice now, and she’s been wonderful! She’s very responsive, kind, and clearly cares about the dogs she looks after. Shifu came home happy and relaxed both times. I’ll definitely be booking with her again!”

About: I grew up with dogs and recently owned 2 rescued dogs. I have land around my home and access to a wooded area with trails for longer walks. I am comfortable with caring for dogs in any facet. I am a teacher and I am looking for summer work. I am free every day until late August. I am willing to walk your dog in your neighborhood or board a dog over night. I have a stake in my yard for when my daughter visits with her 35 lb. Dog. Previous bigger dogs were walked on a leash at all times. I usually walk my dogs 1-2x daily for up to a 1/2 hour.
“Michelle is always incredible with our girl. Tofu comes home with the biggest smile on her face and always smells wonderful. I think “Miss Michelle” (what we call her to Tofu) must keep an incredibly tidy and lovely-smelling home :)”

“Terri is great! We are getting our pupper acclimated to her “vacation home” for a longer stay later in the year, and after much trial and error found someone that lets us take a trip knowing our furbaby is in good hands. Rover needs more than 5 stars…”

“Gunner enjoyed his stay and we felt relieved with him in Diana’s care. Very lovely young lady with best interest of pups in mind. Would use her again. She was awesome with last minute request. Thank you!!”

“Staci was a great! She has excellent communication, and updated me with plenty of pictures. I felt very safe allowing her in my home to pick up and drop off my Ace. She has a lot of experience and I was confident my dog was in good care with her. I highly recommend Staci.”

About: Loving family that is too busy for full time dog 24/7 so let us help you care for and love yours!! We’re here to help you! Work from home so daytime walks and runs are accommodated along with a fenced in yard. Green Lakes is a perfect spot for an outdoor adventure. I have a fenced in yard or we can decide to crate if that’s a better indoor for between activities. We’ll see what work best for your fur baby.
“Victoria was easy to book with and took Luka out on a nice long 30 minute walk which I really appreciated. She was always super responsive and I was able to just enjoy our plans and not worry about how Luka was doing. :)”

“Adriana was an incredible help with our nervous dog who can be a bit ~weird~ with strangers; she had our boy snuggling on the couch with her in just one weekend. She gives great updates and calmed every worry we had this weekend.”

“Julie is amazing. She was super detail oriented on making sure she followed my pups routine, and made sure to give me lots of updates! You could tell the pups were having a good time too..lots of puppy smiles in the pics. Definitely recommend her!!”

“Ben was super with my Australian Shepard. She was smiling long after he left. Ben was quick to learn Hazel’s language and did a good job in avoiding other dogs on her leash walk. I will definitely book Ben again!”

Family members, neighbors, and friends have had me watch their pets of all ages and breeds from puppies to senior dogs and yorkipoos to labs! My favorite breeds are golden retrievers and black cats! I love playing with pets and giving them the love and attention they deserve! Happy to come to you and your pet to give them the care they need! All I need is clear instructions to provide care and I’ll be excited to shower your pet with attention and affection!
About: I have pet sat for neighbors and family friends for years and for long periods of time. I have taken care of dogs, cats, guinea pigs and fish. I also have experience working with reptiles and snakes as an intern for an environment education center. I took care of a box turtle, corn snake, and painted turtle. I am in college full time but am willing to watch or stop by when I am not currently taking a class. I am a junior at SUNY ESF. And have a relatively light schedule that would allow me to dedicate hours to your pet if needed. As I live in an apartment I do not have any pets nor can I board pets. However, I have my own car so I can travel to take care of pets. If you wish to have overnight care I can stay on a couch or blow up mattress by your pet for safe company.
About: Before I could even remember, I have always been surrounded by dogs. Whether I am with small or giant dogs, I love them all so much! It is one of my many enjoyments to be able to make a dogs day (more like they make my day)! I am excited for the opportunity to walk, feed, and/or play with your dog! I am a graduate student working on my masters in school counseling. Being a full-time student, I have extensive time to be able to fit pet care into my schedule. Caring for my client's dogs, I treat them with the same respect and love as I would to my own dog. It is important for me to give them the most attention and affection because their lives are only so long. I will make sure that your dog is met with all their needs.

About: I have grown up around pets my whole life! Dogs, cats. I loved getting to know them all and take care of them. There personalities are all different much like a human and I am always excited to see who they really are. I am looking to get a part time job within the next two weeks. So more than not I will be able to watch and play with my new friends more! I have been around many dogs before even ones that are more aggressive. Over time I have started to learn the signs of two dogs who are uncomfortable with each other. I would never leave a dog with another dog that isn’t comfortable. I can crate the dog or have them there at different times.
About: I have been dog sitting for years. I currently have a chocolate lab named Jax who means the world to me. I love dogs of all breeds, shapes and sizes. I do light dog grooming on the side as well. My goal is to help people out and make sure their dogs are well taken care of while they are gone so they don't have to worry! Dogs are part of the family. Your dog will be beyond spoiled and loved while in my care! I will frequently update with pictures and videos. All dogs should be current and up to date on all shots/flea prevention. I have references available upon request professionally and from families whom I currently dog sit for. I would love to care for your furry family member!
About: I’ve had dogs in my home since I was a baby, so caring and loving animals has always been a big part of my life. I started dog walking and dog/house sitting at the age of 12, and have loved it ever since. I absolutely adore animals, especially dogs and cats, and I believe every pet owner deserves to leave the house feeling as though their pets are safe and cared for. I currently have a very flexible work schedule, which allows me to care for your pets whenever needed. I’m available for services any day of the week and am happy to work with you and your pet’s schedule to the best of my ability. Because I have a reactive dog at home, I am not able to host pets in my home. I prioritize the safety and comfort of your pets in their own environment, and I will always treat your home and property with respect, kindness, and care

“They were great with our dog, "Mr. B" who is particular about who he likes. They kept regularly updated with pictures and notes about what he had been up to. Highly recommend them!”

“I needed a last minute boarding for my dog on Memorial Day Weekend. I had never used Rover previously but a friend recommended it. At first, I was a little nervous leaving my dog with strangers but didn’t have many other options. I brought my dog to Matthew and Christie’s house to meet them and their dog a day or two prior and was immediately relieved. They have a very pet friendly set up, fenced in yard, and our dogs immediately became friends. While I was out of town, they sent me updates and pictures, responded to all my messages immediately, and made me comfortable knowing my dog was in excellent hands. I will definitely be recommending them to anyone who needs a doggy sitter!”

About: I grew up with both cats and dogs, so caring for animals has always come naturally to me and remains one of the most rewarding parts of my life. I currently have my own dog, who I adopted as a puppy while I was in college and is now 4 years old. Raising her has given me experience with training, building routines, and understanding different stages of a dog’s development. I’m comfortable administering medication, brushing and bathing, handling anxious behaviors, and keeping pets on their regular care schedules. I also have experience walking dogs that pull and can confidently handle strong or high-energy pups while keeping walks safe and structured. Whether your pet needs active playtime, consistent routines, or gentle care and attention, I’m patient and attentive, and I treat every pet like my own. As a current medical student, I understand the importance of flexibility and prioritizing a pet's needs. I pride myself on being reliable, communicative, and dependable. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are always my top priorities. I am excited to learn about your pet's unique personality and am more than happy to accommodate any specific requests. As a medical student, my schedule is currently very flexible, which allows me to thoughtfully plan pet care into my daily and weekly routine. While there are periods of time when I am less available, I’m committed to clear communication about my availability and will always work to accommodate your pet’s needs as best as possible. Time management is extremely important to my academic program, and I bring that same organization, dependability, and attention to detail to pet care. I take pride in my work and practice compassionate, attentive care in everything I do. Most importantly, I genuinely love animals and value the trust you place in me to care for them. In my home, I provide a safe, calm, and structured environment where pets can feel comfortable and secure. I currently live in an apartment located directly across the street from a dog park with both large and small dog areas, which allows for convenient, safe, and appropriate exercise based on your dog’s size and temperament. The neighborhood is safe and very pet-friendly. I’m attentive to maintaining each pet’s normal routine, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any medications or special care needs. I make sure pets receive both physical activity and plenty of attention and affection. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I prioritize consistency and respect for your space. I’m happy to follow detailed instructions and maintain your pet’s usual routine to minimize stress. I’m also willing to travel or make special trips if your dog attends daycare, has a preferred park, or enjoys a specific walking route. My goal is to make your pet feel as comfortable and cared for as possible, wherever they are.
