I was a part of caring for the cat in my profile picture, he was older than all of my siblings and was very much family to me for most of my life. About: I am wild about dogs, all breeds. I often think if I could go back, I might have gone to school to be a veterinarian. I grew up with dobermans, cats, riding horses and much more. I have found that most animals love me. I just lost my Golden Retriever, Nalu, after 14 amazing years. Something to be said in that she had more Facebook friends & photos than I do. I also worked for Petco for a short while in my college years, so I have experience caring for small animals (mice, guinea pigs, ferrets, etc). We have two long leads in our backyard to ensure no furry friend comes or goes without us knowing. Our dogs are very friendly with other dogs, and love to play and run with new friends! We try to stick to a predictable schedule with them daily, which includes 2 meals a day, 2 play times, at least 1 walk, and a training session with high-incentive treats. We are more than willing to come to your furry friend for play dates and walks as well!

About: I have a lifetime of experience with pet care, which began with helping my mom run her in-home dog boarding business when I was growing up. The skills and experience that I've gained in that time enable me to provide the best possible care for your pet. I live with my girlfriend who is a veterinary technician with over 15 years of experience. Ours is a loving home, with a large, securely fenced yard. Our top priority is to keep your dog safe, feeling comfortable, and relaxed, just as they would be in their own home. I offer boarding, walks, in home visits, and more. I am comfortable giving meds, preparing special diets, and caring for puppies as well as seniors. I used to train and show dogs when I was younger, and can help get your puppy off on the right foot with house training. Dog sitting is my only job, and my flexible schedule revolves around that. I can be available at any reasonable time for pick-up and drop off appointments. I'm home almost all of the time to be with the dogs, only leaving to run brief errands when necessary. All dogs are cared for in my home. I have a large, securely fenced in back yard. During the day, dogs are free to be outside to play in the backyard as much as they wish. All dogs sleep in large crates or X-pens in our comfortable dog room at night, or when we are not home. We have a young cavalier who would be happy to have new friends to play with. For safety, I separate dogs for feeding and if we're out of the house, although it's rare that no one is home. Guests need to like other dogs and people.
About: I started walking my next door neighbor’s Boston Terrier when I was around 10. She knew I was an animal lover, and even let me experiment with some training with her pup. This led to me getting into agility training and just general dog training, which I have started to pick back up again. I am known as the family dog sitter, as my family has a combination of Pit Bulls, Bernedoodles, and hunting breeds, so I’ve worked with dogs of all shapes and sizes and stubbornness! This gives us a chance to meet, discuss your dog’s needs, and introduce them to me in a less stressful manner! 🐕 Dog-Friendly Guests preferred – I have several well-socialized, gentle resident dogs who welcome our guests. To keep playtime positive and safe, I only accept dogs who are social with other dogs. 🏡 Fenced Yard + Creek Adventures – Dogs enjoy supervised play in my fully fenced yard (never left unattended). When the weather allows, I also take boarders to a nearby creek for some extra fun and swimming. 🛏️ Comfort & Structure – Dogs are allowed on the couch and even in bed if that’s what they’re used to! Crate-trained dogs are preferred for meal times, as I do not allow group feeding. All pets must come with clear feeding instructions. 🧠 Experienced, Caring, and Attentive – I’m highly skilled at reading dog body language and preventing issues before they start. I also have experience with senior dogs, dogs who need oral medications, and offer basic obedience help for puppies during their stay. 💊 Health & Safety First – All boarding dogs must be on flea and tick prevention with some form of proof, as my pets are protected as well. Thanks so much! Fully fenced backyard with sprinklers, pools, toys (for those who don’t resource guard) we are very accommodating for behavioral issues in the pack! I have a large creek that runs through my yard as well. We have a fenced area and I take dogs on leads to the outskirts of the fence and to the creek! Feeding is all done separately as I do not allow my dogs to eat together. Potty breaks are every hour-two hours!
About: Since I was thirteen, I have stayed home alone while my parents went to work, up to twelve hours on certain days. I have consistently been an owner of five or more dogs at a time, and I would always manage their meals, potty breaks, and everything in between. I am currently unemployed, so I have my entire days to spend taking care of your dog(s). I only keep my weekends to myself, but all day on weekdays are perfect. Whenever I have cared for my dogs, I always took a low-key, chill approach. As long as I know the dogs' tells for wanting to go to the bathroom, as well as general mealtimes, I usually sit with the dogs, give them pets and playtime, and they are generally happy with that.

About: I've had and cared for my own pets since I was a little girl, including dogs, cats, rabbits, fish and reptiles. I also worked for Petco for a short while in my college years, so I have experience caring for small animals (mice, guinea pigs, ferrets, etc). My boyfriend and I currently have 2 dogs of our own, and a 5 month old baby boy! We go for daily walks on the canal or at the cemetery near our house, as long as the weather permits. I love animal training and the study of animal behavior. I am currently a stay-at-home mom, so I am very free throughout the day all week! We already go on our own daily pack-walks, so adding a couple more furry friends here and there would be no problem! Our dogs love to play and have a ton of energy! We love doggy play-dates whenever we can get them. We have a decent sized back yard for dog play, and our basement is also a designated puppy-play zone when the weather is wet or cold. We have two long leads in our backyard to ensure no furry friend comes or goes without us knowing. Our dogs are very friendly with other dogs, and love to play and run with new friends! We try to stick to a predictable schedule with them daily, which includes 2 meals a day, 2 play times, at least 1 walk, and a training session with high-incentive treats. We are more than willing to come to your furry friend for play dates and walks as well!

About: A little bit about me, I am going on to my second year at MCC and after plan on joining the Air Force! I currently have a part time job at a restaurant but have gotten the unfortunate news that they will be shutting down my store so I am looking to have this as a part time job for now then hopefully transition it into a full time job. I have been taking care of animals since my early teenage years starting off with a close family friend and her 2 poodle mix’s. They would be dropped off at my house around 9:00 am and then get pick up at 6:00pm. I have bathed, cleaned, and even trained some dogs (simple commands). In addition, I have also taken care of multiple furry felines and have had many cats of my own so I am also quite familiar with their needs as well. I am wanting to soon be Pet CPR and First Aid Certified. I have always been interested in pet-care I just didn’t know how to go about it until I found out about rover! I will be putting all my focus on pet-care as my full time job. Since I am just starting out I will only have weekday availability 11-9 and will only offer drop in’s and walk services Monday-Friday and house sitting Tuesday-Thursday.
