I loved getting to know fur babies and what makes them happiest. I only book dogs in time blocks of 5 hours, so I am never over crowded when it comes to boarding or day care. I like to be sure each pet is taken care of personally and effectively. Pet-Sitting: Often this service for me changes based on owner preference. It requires more in depth detail about the home life of the pet. One reason for this is to ensure I am not interrupting any routines the pet may have. Boarding & Day Care: I treat all pets as if they were my very best friend. We have tv time together (Dog TV), we go on two 30 minute walks within the 5 hour time block. We even eat meals together. Being that my yard is unfenced I personally walk the dogs on leash for 30-45 minutes. Meals for pets are based on owner specifications. Overnight boarding being different in a sense of they get one night walk before bed time/wind down time. They are uncrated (unless the owner specifies to do so), so they have full use of the living area and pets are allowed to be on the furniture purchased for them (Although I am not new to waking up and them being on the couch!)

About: Raised a well trained border collie in high school and recently fostered a puppy that became a service dog through Dogs For Better Lives. We trained it for 14 months to prepare for service training. Typically the professional training takes 4-6 months but our boy graduated in 2.5. I love short, fun training sessions and consistency. I was a solo traveler living the vanlife but am back home helping my folks in Maryland. I love dogs but owning one would radically change my lifestyle. I’m hoping that through Rover I can still have some dog time on the road and take some good boys and girls for adventures outdoors. I foster dogs for a breed specific rescue, with medical and severe behavioral issues so I’ve seen it all. (Dog and human aggression ect…) If dogs are boarding in my home they must be crate trained and/or fully dog and cat friendly. We can always work something out, message me!
