About: I'm an enthusiastic dog walker and sitter that has a passion for dogs and rescuing them. I have been involved in dog rescue and fostering in the Syracuse area for a number of years. I've cared for a number of my own dogs and cats from young to seniors. I've also been a foster parent to a number of dogs when rescues needed someone. I can handle the most challenging of dogs down to little babies and everything in between. Your dog will get plenty of love and attention when I'm around! About: I have extensive experience with animals. I grew up with a dog in the home who I helped train and care for my entire life. Once I was a teenager, I pet sat for several neighbors and friends on a recurring basis as I was able to build meaningful relationships with their pets. I also volunteered at an animal shelter in college where I helped feed and bathe the animals. I have experience with dogs and cats of all ages (young ones who need extra support and older ones who might need medicines or extra guidance). Ultimately, I LOVE all animals and have always had a natural ease with them - so would love to help you take care of any or all of your pets :) I currently work an 8am-4:30pm in person job in the downtown Syracuse area. Therefore, including my commute (dependent on where you live) I am out of the house for about 9 hours on week days. I totally understand if this doesn’t work for your pets! On weekends I can be very flexible to your pets’ schedule. I cannot offer boarding in my own home because my apartment is not pet friendly. When I house sit I am very respectful and clean of the space and I enjoy being able to stick to the typical routine of the pet as much as possible.
“This was my first time using rover but my usual cat sitters were all unavailable and one of my cats, Jackson, had ruptured his ear drum two days prior to a pre-planned vacation so I decided to give it a try. She took a great care of my three fur babies, checking in on them twice a day and giving Jackson his antibiotics. When I came back he was like a new cat! About: I have been blessed to care for 3 dogs, 4 cats, 1 cockatiel, 3 ferrets and countless goldfish in my lifetime. Most recently was my beloved King Charles Cavalier Spaniel Piper. Piper developed a heart condition (common amongst KCCS) and daily medication was prescribed. 3 times a day Piper and I would enjoy some peanut butter or cheese to help get the medication down. I am very familiar with senior dogs and their special needs I am retired and currently work 2 days a week part-time. About: Hello! I graduated high school in 2022. During my senior year I attended the Bixhorn Technological Center for Animal Science Boces. There I learned a plethora of skills and knowledge including but not limited to, both animal behavior and phycology, as well as husbandry, nutrition, and grooming. I stepped back from rover this past year for personal reasons, however I just transferred to SUNY ESF and would love to get back into pet care! Right now, I am attending SUNY ESF here in Syracuse NY. I am looking to explore the city and help others with needed pet care :) I am available for overnight care if contacted in advance, but I am always available for regular potty breaks, walks, and play time as needed. I have experience both coming for visits and staying in home for pet sitting,
About: Growing up my family owned a dog as well as a cat, and I helped tend to the care of both animals in the home. I believe that having this responsibility engraved in me from a young age has helped shape me to be a solid pet care taker now. I was able to experience first hand the changes in a pets life as they age, both behaviorally and physically. I also have taken care of friends and family’s pets in their homes while they are away, most owning multiple types of pets from dogs, cats, and even bearded dragons. I currently work a full-time job at a bakery. My shifts/days off would be: Tuesday-Friday 4am-2pm Saturday-Sunday open availability For any overnight sitting needs, I will probably do best with an owner looking for a weekend sitter as my 10hr shifts can be a long time away from the home. On the other hand, for any drop in visits or walks I am free after I get out of work at 2pm to assist in any late afternoon care! As well as my open availability on the weekends I can not unfortunately offer to care for pets in my own home, as it is unfenced and has a cat residing that does best as a single pet. This is something I can recognize, so it is best that I come to the clients home. A pet communicates with people in so many ways, and the best way to create a safe environment for both you and the pet is to understand those behaviors. I have a good understanding of reading an animal and when boundaries are being set, whether they are done with play time and need space, or need some extra attention. Any pet care details left by the owner, I follow very closely to give the pet the closest experience they can get to a typical day in the home with the owner.

I have two cats personally, they run the household and tell me what to do. They eat twice a day, get their boxes cleaned daily, and petted and played when they decide. Monday- Thursday I am available for pet visits from 10:30-2:30 and again from 5-9 pm Fridays - I am available from 10:30-1:00 for visits Weekends-vary During daycare hours I will always be in the home with your pet unless we are going on an outing together. Play, snacks, walks, songs, and naps will be provided daily. I do have two cats, who will probably stay out of the way, but cat friendly creatures are always preferred.
