About: I started walking my next door neighbor’s Boston Terrier when I was around 10. She knew I was an animal lover, and even let me experiment with some training with her pup. This led to me getting into agility training and just general dog training, which I have started to pick back up again. I am known as the family dog sitter, as my family has a combination of Pit Bulls, Bernedoodles, and hunting breeds, so I’ve worked with dogs of all shapes and sizes and stubbornness! Aside from dogs, I grew up volunteering at shelters where I adopted my own cat when I was 15, and eventually even landed a job as a zookeeper! As far as my own pets go, I currently keep it to my cat, fish and my wonderful Bearded Dragon, Albus. From my own pets, work experience, and love of training, I really have worked with everything from lizards to rodents to dogs to elephants! Specific skills: - Puppy/Adult dog training - Hoofstock care and training (goats, horses, exotics) - Reptile care I currently work from home, so I have the availability to work from wherever I need to. I can be available at any reasonable time for pick-up and drop off appointments. I'm home almost all of the time to be with the dogs, only leaving to run brief errands when necessary. All dogs are cared for in my home. I have a large, securely fenced in back yard. During the day, dogs are free to be outside to play in the backyard as much as they wish. All dogs sleep in large crates or X-pens in our comfortable dog room at night, or when we are not home. We have a young cavalier who would be happy to have new friends to play with. For safety, I separate dogs for feeding and if we're out of the house, although it's rare that no one is home. Guests need to like other dogs and people.

One of our Persians, Sweetie, was especially close to me. She passed away a few years ago, and losing her truly broke my heart—she was with me for so long and gave me so many wonderful memories. I also spend a lot of time with my family’s dogs—a brown Labrador, a German Shorthaired Pointer, and a pair of Boston Terriers—and I always make sure to play with them whenever we’re together. I’m the type of person who needs a lot of “outside time” so my soul dog Murphy and I spend a good amount of time playing in the courtyard and going on multiple walks a day; I truly don’t know who’s happier. Currently, I have a very open schedule and it’s just Murphy and I at home all day. Some evenings I babysit for my family out in Spencerport, but kid friendly dogs are welcome to come with me and there is also a large yard (not fenced in, but there is a 30 ft leash set up). My dog Murphy does not need to be crated when left alone, but I have a small cage in case anyone who visits needs it. About: Since I was thirteen, I have stayed home alone while my parents went to work, up to twelve hours on certain days. I have consistently been an owner of five or more dogs at a time, and I would always manage their meals, potty breaks, and everything in between. I am currently unemployed, so I have my entire days to spend taking care of your dog(s). I only keep my weekends to myself, but all day on weekdays are perfect. Whenever I have cared for my dogs, I always took a low-key, chill approach. I love to play with the puppies, however, I love making sure the seniors get the cuddles and treats they desire! I have a senior in my own home and administer daily pills, multiple times per day. I also have a pitbull puppy who will run herself ragged outside while chasing balls, gardening, and just running around. She also loves hikes and walks! I run my own massage business for in home massage. I am only working three days a week for a few hours at a time. Taking care of the pets is really easy with my schedule! I can carve out as much time as they might need in my day. I aim to keep there routine as normal as possible. I am very flexible in making sure I can do that! I personally feed my own dogs two times per day (morning and night). I have crated my dogs at night for many years, but that is because they love their space. I don't mind having the animals out and about if that is what they prefer! I love to take my own animals on several walks per day, especially with apartment living! We can do anything from short walks to long hikes. I also have had to give my own dogs medications and am no stranger to senior care.
