About: I have been able to take care of animals (dogs and cats) since age 5 as I had pets throughout my whole life. I have also briefly owned horses building the skillset of hygiene care for larger animals. I absolutely love dogs. “Let me tell you. Nick came in clutch and was a lifesaver. Our previous sitter cancelled with 36 hours to spare and I was PANICKING. I messaged him half awake and he responded almost immediately. I have a not very social, insulin dependent diabetic baby so, Nick had a mini challenge in front of him accepting. He came over the next evening for a meet and greet and run through on such short notice and everything. Luckily, Xavier the cat (and his 2 brothers) mostly cooperated, but Nick was ready to squeeze under the bed and in the closet to get trouble his insulin. He provided updates and pictures at every check in! Could not recommend him enough and if we ever go anywhere again, will definitely be reaching back out.”

About: I have raised two dogs (one large bread and one small bread) both from puppy to 16 & 17yrs old. I have had three cats (one still residing with me). Currently I dog sit two fur babies since 2020. In a week I am losing one of my buddies due to his parents relocating. I am already missing him and am hoping to make some new walking and cuddling partners. I work part time on weekends but can sit with advanced notice. Monday til Wednesday I am available for anytime on shorter notice. When I have your furry sweetheart I do not leave them by themselves at all,so I like to schedule when there is nothing to conflict with the time I have them. When in my house they have no restrictions from me, only what the parent wants. I have an outside bathroom area on leash for quick bathroom trips. I like to go for at least one or two long walks per day, weather permitting and your dogs abilities. I live in a walkable neighborhood and close to parks. When at your house I will follow whatever routine your partner is used to.

Sassy had never been under someone else's care and my aunt was nervous about leaving her with a "stranger". But Mindy was wonderful and allowed us to come for a 'meet and greet' when we arrived in town the day before our booking. My aunt was still nervous about leaving her the next day because Sassy, being a Maltipoo, has separation anxiety. But Mindy knew taking Sassy for a walk right after we left would be a good distraction. By the second day Sassy was comfortable going straight to Mindy when we arrived. Also, she was very flexible regarding drop off and pick up times.”

Currently, I dog walk for the shelter as often as I can as part of their program. Ive also bottle fed rescue kittens and have much experience with baby animals, including wildlife! About: I have done seasonal dog walking jobs for older clients as well as drop-in visits for several of my friends and family’s cats or dogs. I am also proficient in caring for senior cats as I have rescued two from the street. My kitties are quite independent and have an auto kibble feeder and they are fed wet dinner in the evenings to support urinary health. I am always hanging out with them when in my home as it is theirs as well. I am always checking on my pets and giving them affection. About: I grew up around and with dogs and absolutely adore them. From chihuahua’s to rottweilers I love them all! I was bit as a child so do have some fear when it comes to reactive dogs and would rather not sit for them. While my expertise is cats the more dogs I’ve sat the more comfortable I am. So not only am I helping you but you’re helping me :) My boyfriend and I both work 9-5 most days but can always stop by for checkins on our breaks. We sit together and work around our schedules to make time for the pets we care for. We have multiple cats as well as fish, frogs, and a lizard. About: I’ve always had dogs and cats my whole life. I’ve watched friends’ pets in the past to help them out. I’ve boarded and walked on multiple occasions. I work during the day M-F. During the summer my two very responsible 19 and 20 year olds are home to help out and play with the animals as well. I’m looking at this as a learning opportunity in responsibility for them. I have a small yard and live in a nice neighborhood that is good for walking. I have a dog named Westley who is 3 1/2 and a cat, Daisy, that is 6. Both have been around both dogs and cats. Daisy generally will hide if she’s scared. Westley loves to play.
