“Had a magnificent experience leaving my boys ( 7 months old) with Annalisa. First, I must say that I am new to Rover and was leaving my pups for the first time, so needless to say I was nervous. Annalisa sensed our nervousness and first graciously came over to my home to meet us and the boys in their own environment with her own dog. The boys felt really comfortable with Annalisa and her dog. We then went to her place and the boys were thrilled again to see her and her dog once again, and they felt really comfortable at her home. So we felt at ease with the decision to leave them there. While we were on our trip we communicated daily and got pictures of the boys. Annalisa was easy to reach. She was always reassured us the boys were well and happy. She herself always seemed at ease and comfortable and happy to be with the boys. I always worry about how the boys will be accepted as they are very energetic and rambunctious but Annalisa seemed to take it all in stride.She even explained that she had to give one of the boys a bath as he had soiled himself. When we came to pick them up it was clear they were happy there. We feel very good about the whole experience. She did a wonderful job of making us feel at ease about leaving the boys there with her. Its clear the boys were well attended to and were made to feel at home there with her. It was important for us that the boys were treated as well as we try to treat them ourselves. Annalisa met all our needs and we trust her completely with the boys. We recommend her highly.”

About: I’ve always grown up with cats and learned to understand how every cat needs different levels of respect and care. I’ve cared for cats that don’t want any interaction to cats who are clingy and want to knead on your lap (I take in the pain for their comfort). I’ve also cared for an elder cat that was diabetic and had a very strict medicine and diet regimen.

About: Besides caring for my childhood dog, Houston, since I was 11 years old, I formally became very involved in pet care during college. I joined an organization called 4 Paws for Ability that raises and trains service dogs for veterans and children with disabilities. I began as a sitter for the primary trainers on campus, watching their dog for a couple of hours during the day. Beginning my junior year, I began raising Red through 4 Paws, a 10 week old Golden-lab. I raised Red, while juggling class and work, until he was 1.5 years old and went off to advanced training. He now works as a facility dog at Dayton Children's Hospital. Since graduating, I remain involved with pet sitting for family and friends. I have sat my boss's daughter's cats (interesting, I know) and my aunt's puppy for a week. I love taking pictures of any and all animals, so expect photo updates often! I currently am a first year medical student here in Buffalo. Class is usually over by mid-day during most week days, making me very available for a walk or drop in visit. Furthermore, my weekends are pretty open for the time being, so I'd love to keep your pets company as a house sitter and have a relaxing (or active) weekend with them. I am very observant when it comes to things that are potentially harmful in reach of the pet. I will ensure your pet does not get into anything they shouldn't! Also, I have experience with ensuring dogs are safe in their kennel prior to leaving so your fur baby and home are safe.

About: I have cared for cats of all ages and temperaments since I can remember. Each one has taught me patience and unconditional love. About: I have raised two dogs (one large bread and one small bread) both from puppy to 16 & 17yrs old. I have had three cats (one still residing with me). Currently I dog sit two fur babies since 2020. In a week I am losing one of my buddies due to his parents relocating. I am already missing him and am hoping to make some new walking and cuddling partners. I work part time on weekends but can sit with advanced notice. Monday til Wednesday I am available for anytime on shorter notice. When I have your furry sweetheart I do not leave them by themselves at all,so I like to schedule when there is nothing to conflict with the time I have them. When in my house they have no restrictions from me, only what the parent wants. I have an outside bathroom area on leash for quick bathroom trips. I like to go for at least one or two long walks per day, weather permitting and your dogs abilities. I live in a walkable neighborhood and close to parks. When at your house I will follow whatever routine your partner is used to.

About: One of my biggest passions is saving animals lives through fostering. My fostering experience has provided me many skills necessary to care for animals with varying needs, including young kittens, diabetic cats, XXS chihuahuas, and XXL breed dogs. Due to my experience in healthcare, I've provided many sub-cutaneous injections for diabetes maintenance and drug responsibilities. I've handled many small rodents including mice, and am comfortable with handling and providing care for smaller pets. I've managed care for animals with severe anxiety by providing them with daily psychiatric meds, and animals needing physical support with supplements, weight loss interventions (diet foods and safe, increased exercise), as well as animals with stranger fear. As a full time professional student, my mornings are often occupied by lectures, and Tuesday/Wednesday afternoons may be partially occupied for school responsibilities. I am very flexible, and can attend to pet care duties before, in between, and after my classes. I am open to over night stays and higher-maintenance care tasks, such as providing care for animals that require behavioral or psychiatric support during their family members absence. I enjoy playing with pets, within their boundaries of comfort. I have become apt at recognizing animals mood states, so I can properly respond to fear, excitement, anxiety, pulling on the leash, and over reactivity as necessary. I enjoy taking dogs on frequent walks if that is comfortable for them, and give occasional treats to reward 'good' behavior, such as sitting or laying down on command, and waiting to be fed. About: I've been a cat dad of my own and looked after friends' and family's cats and dogs for 20+ years, including those in good health and those with special healthcare needs, like regular medications, etc. I love playing with them and just hanging out together...Basically just being pals! About: I really love all kinds of animals! Pets bring so much joy to us, so I understand how important it is to return the love back to them. I grew up helping out neighbors with all kinds of pets. Based on your pet’s needs, I am available for drop ins daily between 7am-8pm, including holidays and weekends (check ins outside those hours can be discussed on an individual basis). I know how hard it can be to trust your pet with a new person. Rest assured, I will treat your pet like my own 2 cats (spoiled and loved)! I pride myself on connecting with each individual pet, my communication with clients, following instructions, and my reliability. Please, do not be embarrassed if you have a 5-page instructions document for your pet, or, alternatively, if you needed to book last-minute and only have time for a virtual meet-and-greet; I am here to adapt and provide care for your particular situation. I typically accept drop-ins between the hours of 7am-8pm, although visits outside those times can be discussed on an individual basis. The services I provide are: - 30 minutes-1 hour drop-ins in the clients home to feed/play/other duties for cats/dogs/other animals -30 minutes-1 hour walks from the clients home for dogs Other time frames or scenarios can be discussed on an individual basis. “Had a magnificent experience leaving my boys ( 7 months old) with Annalisa. First, I must say that I am new to Rover and was leaving my pups for the first time, so needless to say I was nervous. Annalisa sensed our nervousness and first graciously came over to my home to meet us and the boys in their own environment with her own dog. The boys felt really comfortable with Annalisa and her dog. We then went to her place and the boys were thrilled again to see her and her dog once again, and they felt really comfortable at her home. So we felt at ease with the decision to leave them there. While we were on our trip we communicated daily and got pictures of the boys. Annalisa was easy to reach. She was always reassured us the boys were well and happy. She herself always seemed at ease and comfortable and happy to be with the boys. I always worry about how the boys will be accepted as they are very energetic and rambunctious but Annalisa seemed to take it all in stride.She even explained that she had to give one of the boys a bath as he had soiled himself. When we came to pick them up it was clear they were happy there. We feel very good about the whole experience. She did a wonderful job of making us feel at ease about leaving the boys there with her. Its clear the boys were well attended to and were made to feel at home there with her. It was important for us that the boys were treated as well as we try to treat them ourselves. Annalisa met all our needs and we trust her completely with the boys. We recommend her highly.”
