“Dan and his family were excellent dog sitters for our pup who stayed with them for 3 nights. She is 7 months old and this was our first time leaving her with anyone so I was very nervous. We did a meet and greet and Dan and his family made us feel comfortable right away. During her stay, he was very responsive to texts and gave multiple updates about what they did and even sent pics! They have a nice background where our girl was able to run around and play and their house is very spacious and clean. They took her on multiple long walks during her stay and when we picked her up on Sunday and brought her home I could not believe how exhausted she was! She’s a puppy with lots of energy so to see her passed out means she must’ve had a great time getting lots of attention and exercise! I definitely would not hesitate to have Dan dog sit again for us and I’m grateful to know I now have someone that she & I both trust & feel comfortable with. About: I’ve always had dogs and cats my whole life. I’ve watched friends’ pets in the past to help them out. I’ve boarded and walked on multiple occasions. I work during the day M-F. During the summer my two very responsible 19 and 20 year olds are home to help out and play with the animals as well. I’m looking at this as a learning opportunity in responsibility for them. I have a small yard and live in a nice neighborhood that is good for walking. I have a dog named Westley who is 3 1/2 and a cat, Daisy, that is 6. Both have been around both dogs and cats. Daisy generally will hide if she’s scared. Westley loves to play.

About: I have raised two dogs (one large bread and one small bread) both from puppy to 16 & 17yrs old. I have had three cats (one still residing with me). Currently I dog sit two fur babies since 2020. In a week I am losing one of my buddies due to his parents relocating. I am already missing him and am hoping to make some new walking and cuddling partners. I work part time on weekends but can sit with advanced notice. Monday til Wednesday I am available for anytime on shorter notice. When I have your furry sweetheart I do not leave them by themselves at all,so I like to schedule when there is nothing to conflict with the time I have them. When in my house they have no restrictions from me, only what the parent wants. I have an outside bathroom area on leash for quick bathroom trips. I like to go for at least one or two long walks per day, weather permitting and your dogs abilities. I live in a walkable neighborhood and close to parks. When at your house I will follow whatever routine your partner is used to.

About: What sets me apart from other sitters is that caring for animals has been a lifelong passion, not just a side job. I have many years of experience with animals who need insulin shots and oral medications, and experience with all ages. I will treat your pets as if they were my own! At home, I have a tripod husky and a cat who has traveled far with me. I go on miles-long walks every day… always with dog treats in my pockets :) I'm currently working from home setting my own schedule, so walking your dog would fit well into my day. If you live near me, an overnight at your place is possible as I like to give my Stormy cat her breakfast and outside grass time by mid morn. I have lots of cat toys in my house for my cat. I hope your dog has toys and if it's just a walk, then a good leash and baggies to collect poop are essential. I am all about fresh water and seeing that their space is just how they like it.

She welcomed him into her home and even had a dog bed, water/food bowls for his use! She made us feel really comfortable from start to finish! Charlie takes 5 pills throughout the day and she was on top of it providing updates that he got his pill. Would 100% recommend Melissa, your dog is in great hands!”
