“Kiara & Yves are genuinely such fantastic pet sitters, and kept my mind at ease during travel knowing that my cat was in such good hands! Not only were they very kind and pleasant to talk to, but Kiara was very knowledgeable about animals in general and shared some useful information. They were very diligent in making sure my kitty was being cared for properly, along with sending updates and pictures. From medication, to going out of their way to buy specific kibble that my cat was used to after not adjusting, you can be assured that your pet will be watched by responsible, enthusiastic, and caring folks.”

“Jenn and Brian are always fantastic. My Ginger loves going there, and sometimes doesn't want to leave. They take great care of her, and I don't have to worry when I'm on long trips. I highly recommend!”

“Jordy had a wonderful time at Mindy’s- he even became friends with her cat! He was happy to be home but I’m betting he would gladly go back. I’d happily ask Mindy to care for him again.”

“I’m so grateful she accepted my dog last minute on the same day. She took amazing care of him and treated him like her own. I felt completely at ease knowing he was in such loving, reliable hands. We’ll be back!! Highly recommend!”

“Erika went above and beyond to accommodate us at short notice, then we were delayed at the border so arrived late, she was great to deal with and Reggie had a wonderful time, one tired and happy little dog! Thanks Erika”

“Denae & Mark provided a second home for my dog, who emerged from their care happier and healthier than when he started. They stayed in regular contact to ease my mind, and I highly trust their capabilities in caring for canines.”

“Anthony did a great job taking care of my pup. She can be shy and fearful in new situations and Anthony did a great job to keep her calm and comfortable. She enjoyed playing with his dogs, Yoki and Canelo. I enjoyed receiving updates and pictures of my pup while I was away which helped me feel at ease. Anthony is calm, reliable and welcoming. I plan to use his services again when I need them.”

“Alena always takes great care of Shadow. She takes him on walks and even gave him meds that were prescribed for him at the last minute. I have booked with her several times and will continue to do so. I highly recommend her.”

About: What sets me apart is my lifelong love for animals and the years of hands-on experience I’ve had caring for them. I grew up in a pet-loving household where caring for dogs (and other animals!) was part of daily life—from energetic puppies to aging senior dogs who needed extra patience and care. I’m attentive, calm under pressure, and genuinely enjoy spending time with dogs of all temperaments. Whether your pup needs long walks, medication, or just some belly rubs and companionship, I bring both knowledge and heart to the job. I treat every dog as if they’re my own and take the time to understand their unique needs and personalities. Your dog’s comfort, safety, and happiness are my top priorities—and I’ll always keep you updated with photos, messages, and peace of mind while you’re away! I currently have a flexible, remote position, and am happy to work around the schedule of others! Let me know what your pets' needs are, and I am sure I can work it into my schedule :) My top priority is making every pet feel safe, comfortable, and loved—whether they’re in my home or I’m in theirs. I adapt my care based on each pet’s unique personality, routine, and needs. In a client’s home, I do my best to maintain the pet’s normal routine and environment. I follow all instructions closely—from feeding schedules and walk times to special care like medications or crate training. I know how important consistency is, and I aim to make your pet feel like I’m just part of the usual routine. I also make sure to keep the space clean and respectful—your home is treated with the same care I’d give my own. When caring for pets in my home, I create a calm, welcoming space that’s pet-friendly and safe. I ensure dogs have plenty of time for exercise, mental stimulation, and affection. I limit exposure to unfamiliar pets and follow any special requirements—whether that’s slow introductions, quiet spaces for anxious pups, or keeping to a strict medication schedule. Above all, I give pets the individual attention they deserve and keep you updated regularly with messages and photos so you feel confident they’re in good hands.
“My cat Vlad was well taken care of and loved with Julio! I got consistent updates and pictures of how he was doing during his stay, and would recommend Julio to anyone needing a trust worthy sitter for their furry friend! I’m excited to continue using his services in the future!”

“Michelle gave our Gunner awesome care! She will give you updates & pictures multiple times a day. Great communication w/drop off & pick up times, and w/ general communication!! Will definitely be using her service again!”

“I was so happy to have found Morgan, last minute using Rover. She really put me to ease and made me feel comfortable leaving my pups with her. I loved receiving picture updates, showing my girls were happy, comfortable and playing. Thank you Morgan for taking such good care of my girls.”
“Charlette is very kind and caring, she will take care of your fur baby as if it was her own. She communicates quickly and often, leaving you no doubt about the situation. I'm not sure how I could give her a higher recommendation, but if I could, I would!”

“I was nervous with this being Hercules first time at a sitter that wasn’t family. But we had a introduction a few weeks prior and I realized I had nothing to be nervous about!! Hercules had great time at Beverly’s. Beverly and her husband were wonderful, and Hercules loved them both! We received many updates, and pictures throughout his stay. Highly recommend Beverly. We will definitely book again with her.”

About: I’ve always had dogs and cats my whole life. I’ve watched friends’ pets in the past to help them out. I’ve boarded and walked on multiple occasions. I work during the day M-F. During the summer my two very responsible 19 and 20 year olds are home to help out and play with the animals as well. I’m looking at this as a learning opportunity in responsibility for them. I have a small yard and live in a nice neighborhood that is good for walking. I have a dog named Westley who is 3 1/2 and a cat, Daisy, that is 6. Both have been around both dogs and cats. Daisy generally will hide if she’s scared. Westley loves to play.
“Leah was very attentive and shared frequent updates about how my dog was adjusting. I’d definitely recommend Leah and am looking forward to boarding my dog with her again.”

“2nd time booking with Ciara! Very thorough and took great care of our boys! Kitties were loved, instructions were followed completely, and they absolutely love her! The boys can be a bit picky/shy, but they gravitate towards Ciara and she is so sweet with them - sending me detailed updates, pictures, and videos along the way to make me feel comfortable and let me see my babies in the meantime! I have absolutely no doubt that they are well taken care of when she's there. Would recommend her in a heartbeat ❤️”

“Elisabeth took incredible care of my cat while I was away! I got plenty of photos and she was even kind enough to give in to his daily demands to be brushed. It was such a relief to know he was well taken care of while I was gone for two weeks. Elisabeth was able to step in and extend her visits when my return trip was delayed for a day. Highly recommended!”

“Sarah really helped us out in a pinch! She was able to meet us and our kitties with very little notice, and jumped right in to take care of them in our home. Her updates were excellent and reassuring. We can’t wait to work with her again.”

About: I have been able to take care of animals (dogs and cats) since age 5 as I had pets throughout my whole life. I have also briefly owned horses building the skillset of hygiene care for larger animals. I absolutely love dogs. I have had experience with small dogs all the way up to English Mastiff and Ridgeback sizes. I have been a helpful pet sitter for many family members and some friends. I absolutely love animals and plan to incorporate them into my therapeutic process with clients in the future. Please send them my way and I will give them all the love and empathy while you're away and as needed! I am a graduate student with an internship which entails the need for a daily routine. I am more flexible for weekends and holidays, and I am also willing to make other days work given enough time notice in advance. I love to be outside year-round, especially fall and winter, so I will be active with animals in snow/cold or sunshine which means walks and playing! I have three cats who have everything they need including love and grooming! I have a three-legged cat who requires more care for hygiene and grooming, so he gets lion cuts every so often. All of my cats get treats and are spoiled with love. I am flexible and willing to work around whatever is needed for safety and the environment. I would prefer to do house visits and drop-ins to feed/let outside, etc. I would need to be provided equipment like leashes, crates, food bowls, food, etc. I do not want to disrupt your pet's routine or familiarity of their own materials.
“Elizabeth did an incredible job watching over our 2 senior cats! She’s was kind, responsive and provided my husband and I with a wonderful sense of safety for our fur babies. I highly recommend her!”
“Gretchen took amazing care of my cat, Dory, while I was away for 5 days! I got updates and photos after every visit, which gave me so much peace of mind. She went above and beyond with the litter box, fresh water, driving to me, and taking the trash out before I got home. Couldn’t have asked for better care. Highly recommend!”

“Jenna took exceptional care of my cats during my time away, ensuring they were fed and happy! She was also able to administer topical medication to one of my cats, making sure everything went smoothly. Jenna followed all of my instructions carefully and was very communicative during her visits, which was much appreciated. I would absolutely trust Jenna with my pets again and highly recommend her services!”

“Ariana is fabulous and was so accomodating to my needs to add more visits. My kitty loved her from the very first visit. She took photos that relayed my kitty’s demeanor and she kept me informed about a food issue. I will use her again for sure!”

“Emma was fabulous in taking care of my boys! She was even able to get my stubborn kitty to take more of his meds than I could, no small feat. She was great about providing updates and following complex care instructions.”

About: Besides caring for my childhood dog, Houston, since I was 11 years old, I formally became very involved in pet care during college. I joined an organization called 4 Paws for Ability that raises and trains service dogs for veterans and children with disabilities. I began as a sitter for the primary trainers on campus, watching their dog for a couple of hours during the day. Beginning my junior year, I began raising Red through 4 Paws, a 10 week old Golden-lab. I raised Red, while juggling class and work, until he was 1.5 years old and went off to advanced training. He now works as a facility dog at Dayton Children's Hospital. Since graduating, I remain involved with pet sitting for family and friends. I have sat my boss's daughter's cats (interesting, I know) and my aunt's puppy for a week. I love taking pictures of any and all animals, so expect photo updates often! I currently am a first year medical student here in Buffalo. Class is usually over by mid-day during most week days, making me very available for a walk or drop in visit. Furthermore, my weekends are pretty open for the time being, so I'd love to keep your pets company as a house sitter and have a relaxing (or active) weekend with them. I am very observant when it comes to things that are potentially harmful in reach of the pet. I will ensure your pet does not get into anything they shouldn't! Also, I have experience with ensuring dogs are safe in their kennel prior to leaving so your fur baby and home are safe.

About: I have taken care of two cats the past two years. I am a pet lover with a caring heart and am very glad to play, walk and care for pets as I am away from mine for school. I have a medical background and am currently a medical student.

“Haley was amazing!! It was Riley's first time being alone for so long and Haley made sure to make her feel super loved and cared for while we were away. She provided lots of pictures and updates. We will definitely be booking her again the next time we need someone to take care of Riley 😊”

“Julio was excellent! Consistent updates and Sunny really seemed to enjoy himself. Also, Julio was flexible when I needed an extra day and was able to troubleshoot really well when Sunny ran out of his food because of the extra day. Julio will be my go to in Buffalo!”

About: I have taken care of my own family dogs and cats for my whole childhood and adulthood life. I have been given the experience of watching my neighbors and friends' pets. It has ranged from hamsters to dogs. I also have experience with training and watching after puppies. I work full-time as a teacher so am home by midafternoon. I take a mile walk before I leave for work and when I get back, so your pet will receive adequate exercise and stimulation. I have a dog to keep your furry friend company! He is very calm and loves other animals. I have space if your animal needs separation or to be crated for any reason.
“Nicole was a gem. She managed our puppy and 9 year old like an expert. She over came our pup's hesitancy and quickly became friends. Look forward to using her services in the future.”

“Kiara and Yves did an amazing job watching Teddy. Once I dropped him off, he felt right at home. Kiara kept on contact with me throughout the booking to update me on Teddys status and sent several pics. Will definitely book with Kiara and Yves again if we’re in the area.”

“We had a wonderful experience! Our dog absolutely loved staying with them, and it was clear he was well cared for and comfortable. They were also very flexible and accommodating when we had to revise our schedule, which we really appreciated. Great communication, reliable, and genuinely caring. We would definitely book with them again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a trustworthy dog sitter!”

About: I have raised two dogs (one large bread and one small bread) both from puppy to 16 & 17yrs old. I have had three cats (one still residing with me). Currently I dog sit two fur babies since 2020. In a week I am losing one of my buddies due to his parents relocating. I am already missing him and am hoping to make some new walking and cuddling partners. I work part time on weekends but can sit with advanced notice. Monday til Wednesday I am available for anytime on shorter notice. When I have your furry sweetheart I do not leave them by themselves at all,so I like to schedule when there is nothing to conflict with the time I have them. When in my house they have no restrictions from me, only what the parent wants. I have an outside bathroom area on leash for quick bathroom trips. I like to go for at least one or two long walks per day, weather permitting and your dogs abilities. I live in a walkable neighborhood and close to parks. When at your house I will follow whatever routine your partner is used to.
“Rudy had a wonderful time with Jaddua. He reassured us with many updates, photos, and was a very caring dog sitter. He loved giving Rudy all the attention and love he needed. We will definitely book again in the upcoming future. Thank you!”

“Lauren connected very well with my fur girl from the very beginning. Looking at the pictures that she share I could definitely see that being outside on the balcony with Lauren was one of her favorite times of her stay....as she took in the sights and sounds of the neighborhood along with catching a few rays!”

“He’s a great person and a huge animal lover! Apollo loves him and loves playing with the other dogs. I highly recommend Jose for all your pet sitting needs, he’s the best!”

“Laura was amazing with my off the wall super energetic 3 month old springer spaniel puppy!! She is a super experienced trainer and was amazing at providing a balance between structure/close monitoring for safety and a lot of fun play time for my girl. She sent a lot of updates and advice that was very helpful for our training as well! Laura went above and beyond and even gave me tons of training tips outside of the visit because my pup is very difficult and has been struggling with separation anxiety. Best value out of a Rover stay I’ve ever gotten!”

“Mindy provided day care for my aunt's dog, Sassy, while we visited Niagara Falls from Arkansas. Sassy had never been under someone else's care and my aunt was nervous about leaving her with a "stranger". But Mindy was wonderful and allowed us to come for a 'meet and greet' when we arrived in town the day before our booking. My aunt was still nervous about leaving her the next day because Sassy, being a Maltipoo, has separation anxiety. But Mindy knew taking Sassy for a walk right after we left would be a good distraction. She was also wonderful about sending pictures and videos especially that first day and that made us feel better about leaving her. By the second day Sassy was comfortable going straight to Mindy when we arrived. Also, she was very flexible regarding drop off and pick up times.”

About: Hi there! I'm Caitlin, and for the past 13 years, I have gained extensive education, training, and experience with all types of animals. I have been with Rover since 2014 and have had over 190 clients through the years. As a proud professional, the experience under my belt includes: - Solo management of a small, rural cat shelter - Behavioral and adoption staff at a large urban animal shelter - Dog and cat training - Fear free certification - Management staff for boarding and daycare - Professional bathing/grooming - Exotic animal handling - Bachelor's degree in Animal Behavior Besides my professional experience, I have been a pet owner my whole life - dogs, cats, and exotics included! Right now - I have four beloved cats who I have clicker trained myself! ** Currently, my preferred clients are cats, small dogs, seniors, and more relaxed pets. I am not suited to care for strong, energetic dogs who need extensive exercise. ** In-home boarding and dog daycare are services I vet very extensively and am particular about due to my cats. While I do offer the services, it is always better to choose a house sit/drop in visit with me instead - these I can be much more flexible about. Some other services I provide beyond the basics include: - Wedding pet care and assistance - Pet transportation - Travel pet care and assistance - and more! I am a *CONSTANT CARE SITTER!* That means, I am in your home for the vast majority of the day, due to my day job being completely remote and flexible. While some others may need to step out for a full work day, I commit my time to YOUR pet(s) and YOUR pet(s) only - which sets me apart from other sitters. You may see that my husband, Josh, is also on my profile. He will occasionally help me with some services, but I am the primary sitter. I will always let clients know if he is going to be present for any services. Safety for pets and myself is and always has been my top priority. I am proudly fear free certified and have worked on extensive safety training measures in all of my professional working environments. I know how to use all types of equipment (leashes, collars, harnesses, e-collars, etc) with ease.
“Priya and her family were so good to Koda. He loved spending time with them! She gave us updates throughout the day- great communication overall. I’d definitely have her watch Koda again. He was so happy with her. :)”

“This is the first time I’ve left my pups with a private daycare and I was nervous about it. I shouldn’t have been! My dogs loved it and they now run up the stairs to Alexis when we arrive in the morning. Alexis is a great communicator and I appreciate the pictures she sends. We are now regulars and I highly recommend Alexis!”

“Thanks so much! Crystal was very professional. She was clear about her services and what she doesn’t offer - like picking my dog up from my house - I appreciate clear boundaries. She fed him & let him out more than enough times and he seemed very happy over there. I feel safe with her watching my dog. Thank you!”

“Sasha is very personable, great energy...and Homey seemed to enjoy his stay with her on Mother's day...nice to be away and know he was well cared for...lots of pics and updates....highly recommend.”

“This was a last minute booking and Holly was more than eager to watch our Anakin. Holly was a delight to meet, very friendly, outgoing, and personable. She was great with Anakin and sent us updates, pictures throughout the day and had him play with her dog and asked if she could give him things before providing anything. Holly made us feel at ease and Anakin was very happy when we picked him up and even got a new toy which he has not let go. We highly recommend Holly for your pet care needs and will use her again if we’re in the area. Thank you Holly!”

About: I have loved dogs my entire life. Growing up, I was the one caring for our dogs and for family friends’ dogs while they were away. “Left my dog at Courtney's for the day. She was very communicative and my dog seemed very happy when I picked her up. My pup took a long nap afterwards so she definitely got good play time.”

“Charlette accommodated our day care request last minute and took such great care of our dog! She was kind when we needed flexibility with drop off. She sent adorable pictures through the day, and our dog was so happy and tired on pick up. Highly recommend!”

“The proof of Jackie’s expertise is with the pups. They adored her. She is obviously a dog person. We’ll be booking her again as a sitter. I know that bean and sprout will have a wonderful time with her. Thanks Jackie!”

“Rebooked Callie for a midday break. Excellent with our 14 week old puppy! Patient. Callie also has an eye for good photo angles and has sent some of our cutest pictures we have of Benson, which is especially nice because these puppy years go by so quickly and before you know it, you’ve forgotten to document it. Highly recommend Callie for your pet.”

About: My first formal pet sitting experience was taking out and playing with my uncle’s black lab puppy after school, my senior year of high school. Then, that same year I pet my aunt’s 2 cats in 2016. During the pandemic, for over a year, I stayed at my friend’s house while she was away at work. I would take her precious pup Lala out for walks, give Lala and her cat-sister Sophia their meds with breakfast, and treat them like the princesses they are. I recently left law school, so my availability is completely free until I find a full-time job! I would love to set your mind at ease by visiting your home as often as you’d like! I would care for my clients’ pets the same way I care for my cat-son, Remy. I give him all the attention he desires, and I do the less-than-desireable things (like washing his litterbox monthly, clipping his nails, and brushing his teeth) with a smile because I know it’s what’s best for him.
“ElizaE was excellent! My dog has always tended to bark intensely at people she doesn’t know and then hide if the person doesn’t leave. ElizaE took the time to help our dog Jenna get to know her and trust her. She took her on familiar routes for her walks and let her spend some time in one of her favorite places- our back yard. It was very reassuring to get the messages and pictures and know that Jenna was having a good experience while we were gone. I highly recommend ElizaE.”

I’ve also provided regular dog walking, in-home sitting, and medication support for friends and family. Whether it’s a playful puppy, a shy rescue, or a senior dog with special needs, I’m confident, patient, and ready to meet them where they’re at. Your pet’s comfort, safety, and happiness are always my top priorities. I can’t wait to meet your pet and give them the care and attention they deserve! As a third-year college student currently on summer break, I have full availability and a flexible schedule, so pet care easily fits into my daily routine. I am able to plan my day around walks, drop-ins, and overnight care, making sure pets are consistently checked on and cared for on time. I’m also able to accommodate mornings, afternoons, evenings, and most weekends without scheduling conflicts. In your home, I stick to your pet’s routine to make sure they feel safe, loved, and right at home—even when you’re not. Whether it’s feeding, meds, walks, or just some good company, I’m there to give them the care and attention they’re used to. I’ll keep you updated along the way, so you always know how they’re doing.
“My dog is a nervous rescue. Caitlin handled her very well. Was very attentive to my dogs needs and extremely easy to work with. I've already asked to have her again. Thank you Caitlin!”

“Charlette is very kind and caring, she will take care of your fur baby as if it was her own. She communicates quickly and often, leaving you no doubt about the situation. I'm not sure how I could give her a higher recommendation, but if I could, I would!”
