About: I have been able to take care of animals (dogs and cats) since age 5 as I had pets throughout my whole life. I have also briefly owned horses building the skillset of hygiene care for larger animals. I absolutely love dogs. I have had experience with small dogs all the way up to English Mastiff and Ridgeback sizes. I have been a helpful pet sitter for many family members and some friends. About: I have raised two dogs (one large bread and one small bread) both from puppy to 16 & 17yrs old. I have had three cats (one still residing with me). Currently I dog sit two fur babies since 2020. In a week I am losing one of my buddies due to his parents relocating. I am already missing him and am hoping to make some new walking and cuddling partners. I work part time on weekends but can sit with advanced notice. Monday til Wednesday I am available for anytime on shorter notice. When I have your furry sweetheart I do not leave them by themselves at all,so I like to schedule when there is nothing to conflict with the time I have them. When in my house they have no restrictions from me, only what the parent wants. I have an outside bathroom area on leash for quick bathroom trips. I like to go for at least one or two long walks per day, weather permitting and your dogs abilities. I live in a walkable neighborhood and close to parks. “Mindy provided day care for my aunt's dog, Sassy, while we visited Niagara Falls from Arkansas. Sassy had never been under someone else's care and my aunt was nervous about leaving her with a "stranger". But Mindy was wonderful and allowed us to come for a 'meet and greet' when we arrived in town the day before our booking. My aunt was still nervous about leaving her the next day because Sassy, being a Maltipoo, has separation anxiety. But Mindy knew taking Sassy for a walk right after we left would be a good distraction. She was also wonderful about sending pictures and videos especially that first day and that made us feel better about leaving her. By the second day Sassy was comfortable going straight to Mindy when we arrived. Also, she was very flexible regarding drop off and pick up times.”

About: - I love to walk, even those longer walks for those dogs such as my families own golden whom requires a lot of exercise! -I always carry disposable bags for poop and a water bottle for dogs as they get thirsty on walks -I also carry treats when walking - My families' dog is very afraid so I know how to deal with dogs that have those traits and do everything in my power to prevent them from interacting with any animal or anyone who would put them in a bad situation. -I always heed a dog owners' rules when caring for another's family member, because they know the dog best. -I treat another's pet as my own. -I make sure they are safe at all times. -I am not afraid of telling others they are not to pet a dog that does not want to be touched or interact with anyone but his/her human loved ones. About: I pay close attention to pets as I do children, treating each with love, respect, compassion, and empathy. Sometimes no words are needed, just a scratch under the chin, chest, head, or ears! Other times, fuzzy friends need to be told what a great gift from God they truly are. I love being sensitive to each creature's individual needs, and cherish the special bonds formed while owners entrust me with their forever family friends.
