I grew up with rotties, a Shepard and I used to have have a Yorkshire terrier so I'm comfortable with pups of all ages and sizes. I only book dogs in time blocks of 5 hours, so I am never over crowded when it comes to boarding or day care. I like to be sure each pet is taken care of personally and effectively. Pet-Sitting: Often this service for me changes based on owner preference. It requires more in depth detail about the home life of the pet. One reason for this is to ensure I am not interrupting any routines the pet may have. Boarding & Day Care: I treat all pets as if they were my very best friend. We have tv time together (Dog TV), we go on two 30 minute walks within the 5 hour time block. We even eat meals together. Being that my yard is unfenced I personally walk the dogs on leash for 30-45 minutes. Meals for pets are based on owner specifications. Overnight boarding being different in a sense of they get one night walk before bed time/wind down time. They are uncrated (unless the owner specifies to do so), so they have full use of the living area and pets are allowed to be on the furniture purchased for them (Although I am not new to waking up and them being on the couch!)

We trained it for 14 months to prepare for service training. Typically the professional training takes 4-6 months but our boy graduated in 2.5. I love short, fun training sessions and consistency. About: I'm a Certified Professional Dog Trainer, Knowledge Assessed (CPDT-KA), and I have over 15 years of working with dogs in veterinary clinics, humane societies, boarding kennels, grooming parlors, and most recently, managing a doggy daycare and teaching classes for a dog training institution. I own 13 acres of woods and fields that allows for dogs to run and play, though boarders use long lines for safety. Each dog who comes into my home will retain basic manners, including waiting at doors, loose leash walking skills, and come when called commands. I'm experienced with and capable of handling under-socialized or even aggressive dogs. I simply work with dogs on an individualized basis, to develop appropriate relationships with each pet. About: I’ve always took a liking to animals and always had postive bonds with them. Over the years of growing up my grandfather owned several big dogs and cats. While others would shy away, not me I always helped out and didn’t mind watching them. I currently run an online business which has allowed me to have so much time for my daily clients. Due to my freedom I’m able to provide walks as often as every two hours or less for my puppies. I also get to spend my days cuddled up with my temporary babies. Caring for any pet at my home or others will be very similar I will need to know any notes and any restrictions for me and the dog. As I would give them my complete attention so that it’s a little vacation for them as well as subtracting feeling neglected.

About: I’ve always been an animal lover. When I was a child I had all sorts of different pets. I had fish, hamsters, gerbils, lizards and rabbits. When I got older I had a family dog named Lulu who I helped house brake and train as a pup when I was in high school. When I became an adult I adopted my dog Weston who I’ve had and trained since he was an eight week old puppy. I’m very confident in my ability to help house train your young dog if need be. I understand how much stimulation and exercise they require. I’m happy to provide that through long walks, trips to the dog park and general outings. I have lots of chew toys around and ways to keep feisty puppies occupied. I’ve fostered cats as well as taken care of neighbors’ kittens including providing feedings and litter box cleaning when necessary. I’ve always wanted to have a parrot as a pet so if you have birds that need care I’d appreciate the opportunity to come help out and learn more about them :). I’m currently a full time pet sitter. I have a dog of my own as well. I will be available all hours of the day and night to care for your animal(s). About: I've had dogs growing up my whole life. I love all animals. I help take care of my parents dogs while they are out of town.
