We loved that we were able to have a meet and greet with her and with our dog, and that she is so careful about the dogs' temperaments before she accepts them, so they will all be safe interacting with each other. She has a big house and a big yard. Our dog had a wonderful time playing with the other boarding dogs for a week (she sent a great video!) and came home healthy, happy, and very tired. “Dawn literally saved our vacation. I found out two days before our vacation that our doggie day camp was closing due to an illness going around the dogs. I searched other day cares and dog sitters on Rover and everyone was booked! (It is August vacation time!) Dawn responded that she had one spot open and agreed to meet in a few hours for a meet and greet. Dawn put me at ease by asking lots of questions about our dog, Baci, and taking careful notes. We dropped her off the next morning and she stayed a whole week. Dawn sent pictures of Baci playing with the other dogs almost every day. “It was hard to find someone to watch my staffordshire terrier because of nervousness with other dogs, but Pam responded right away and booked a meet and greet to make sure that Daphne would be a good fit for the couple of days I needed her to watch Daphne. She brought up every concern possible at the meet and greet to make sure that every base with our dog was covered. During the couple of overnights I received TONS of pictures, which I loved! I was updated very often about how Daphne was doing. She was taken care of like she was the queen of dogs. Loved it! A lot of outdoor time and playing, which I could tell from the pictures that Daphne loved it. Pam loves dogs and I would definitely book an overnight with her again! I could tell when Daphne got home she was exhausted! Also, Pam makes treats for the dogs to take home! Daphne always asks for them when we are in our kitchen!”

My experience administering medication I administer medication for my dog on a daily basis, as well as friend/family's dogs whenever needed. I’ve given insulin shots, vaccines, oral medication, as well as topical medication. I spend most of my time taking care of animals throughout the day as it is my passion, not to mention I have a decent amount of pets myself. I do also take care of my elderly grandmother so I split my time up accordingly. The pets in my home all get treated equally and as one of my own and they always feel right at home! I wake up and the first thing I do is let the dogs out for their morning bathroom break. They all typically go out into my fenced in yard together as one big group. I prepare their breakfasts while they're all outside and then feed them once they are let back into the house. They spend the day with me around the house where they play with each other and where I play games with them. They go on 2-3 walks per day (if the owners allow me to take them for walks) and get plenty of exercise throughout the day. They're fed their dinner between 6pm and 7pm, get their last potty break at about 9pm and then we are done for the day!

I will focus 100% of my time on your pets while I am working with them because I find it very important to always show animals the love and attention they deserve. Pet care is honestly just woven into my daily routine at this point, it doesn't feel like a separate task. My mornings start with feeding and a walk, which actually gives me a great reason to get outside and move before I sit down to work. Throughout the day I'm mindful of keeping things consistent for them, meals, playtime, making sure they're not just sitting alone for too long. Evenings are usually when we wind down together, which I genuinely look forward to. It's one of those things that adds structure to my day without feeling like a chore, more like a grounding ritual than a responsibility. I care for pets the same way I'd want someone to care for mine, with consistency, attention, and a lot of patience. In my own home, that means sticking to a routine they can rely on: regular feeding times, daily walks or play sessions, and making sure their space is clean and comfortable. I pay close attention to their moods and energy levels because animals communicate a lot through behavior, and catching when something feels off early makes a big difference. When it comes to caring for a client's pet, I make it a priority to understand their specific needs before I ever step through the door. Every pet is different, different diets, different temperaments, different routines, and I take detailed notes on all of it. I follow the owner's instructions closely, keep their environment familiar and stress-free, and always communicate updates so the owner feels confident and informed while they're away. I treat their home with the same respect I'd want someone to show mine, and I treat their pet like my own.

About: I grew up in a house full of animal lovers. I have always wanted to work with animals, and caring for pets has been an absolute pleasure for the past 15 years. I love my job and will always go above and beyond to make sure your pets are properly cared for and loved while you are away. I also provide dog walking, minimum of 1 hr walk required to book, and boarding in my home. I am reliable, punctual, honest, have common sense, and a huge heart. We can set up a meet and greet free of charge to make sure that me and your pets are a good fit. Thank you for considering me, and I look forward to hearing from you! I am available for dog walks, drop ins, boarding, or overnights in your home. There is an hour minimum for dog walks and for drop ins I offer overnight stays in the pets home. I will follow their normal routine as closely as possible, and make them feel safe and comfortable with me. I also offer dog boarding. Your dog will be safe, comfortable, and well cared for while staying in my home.

“It was hard to find someone to watch my staffordshire terrier because of nervousness with other dogs, but Pam responded right away and booked a meet and greet to make sure that Daphne would be a good fit for the couple of days I needed her to watch Daphne. She brought up every concern possible at the meet and greet to make sure that every base with our dog was covered. During the couple of overnights I received TONS of pictures, which I loved! I was updated very often about how Daphne was doing. She was taken care of like she was the queen of dogs. Loved it! A lot of outdoor time and playing, which I could tell from the pictures that Daphne loved it. Pam loves dogs and I would definitely book an overnight with her again! I could tell when Daphne got home she was exhausted! Also, Pam makes treats for the dogs to take home! Daphne always asks for them when we are in our kitchen!”
