About: No dog deserves the kennel! Why settle for the pound when they can spend a night in a home with an owner-on-loan; either in your house on in a house that has raised two other pets from puppyhood to old age? Admittedly, there are stairs and hardwood floors in my house, but I have bought several carpets for my old dog to move around on and can lay them down for your dog’s convenience. We also have a big backyard that your dog will love to run around in (and no predators, unless you count woodchucks and geese) and a long leash that can go all the way to the end of the property line. I love dogs and after a day with me, your furry friend will mistake me for his mother. I’m most busy Wednesdays-Thursdays, so I marked them out on the calendar, but if petsitting is required for several days, that is easy to accommodate! I also don’t mind waking up every few hours to take a dog out—I have not quite reached the age where sleep is important. I won’t allow your dog to roam around outside unleashed (sorry, but I don’t want to lose them!), but when they’re outside, I’ll make sure they have the freedom to run around to their heart’s content. Additionally, I’m willing to walk them in any weather they’ll put up with and even let them sleep on the couch/spare bed, if they’re not too dirty.

I take care of my former co workers dogs and my dad's dog. I'm a very active person, so I love to play outside and go for walks. Tawni immediately reassured me that Ivy would be in great hands. She kept in constant contact the entire time, sending lots of updates and pictures, which truly gave me peace of mind. What really stood out is how mindful she was of Ivy’s temperament. Ivy can be apprehensive in new situations, and Tawni went out of her way to read her body language, respect her comfort zone, and make sure others gave her space. She even made sure Ivy was the only dog in her care, adjusting her schedule so my girl could feel completely safe. It’s rare to find someone so caring, attentive, and communicative. Tawni went above and beyond, and I’m so grateful for the love and attention she gave Ivy. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for someone who treats your pet like family.”
