And our high maintenance older pointer mix is just as peaceful as ever, his respiratory issue was taken care of well and that's a lot to keep up with. I can't say enough how much my wife and I appreciate the care they gave them. The fenced in yard with a good wood pile, walks, and pictures gave us peace of mind the whole time. We will book again with them anytime we need to and they're available.”

About: Like many others, I am a dog lover and was raised taking care of family dogs. Unlike others, that passion led to training and classes, competing in dog sports, and now, competing in dog shows. I have experience with many breeds of all sizes, senior pet care, reactive dog care and training. I would love to help you with your pet care needs! I work from home, so my schedule is very flexible and I can accommodate most dogs’ needs. I currently have open availability for boarding, daycare, walks, and drop in visits. Dogs are treated like one of my own! I take your dog out for leashed potty breaks several times a day, according to their needs. While I am working, your dog can settle on the couch or one of the many dog beds, or relax and play with my dogs (a Golden Retriever and a Foxhound). If your dog likes the crate, I have an extra for them. When I run errands, your dog will be crated or gated in a separate room from my dogs for safety. I live on 4 acres next and next to a cemetery, so I can take your dog for relaxing walks in a peaceful environment.

He did a great job, was very responsive, responsible and would contact me if he had a question. We felt like we left our cat and home in good hands. About: My experience with animals but more cats than anything but I have grand puppies that I love and have taken care of. I have had them overnight and have gone to their house out my personal schedule to let outside, to feed and love. I have two cats that is not just pets but are like mine and my wife's kids. Kiki is 13 year old female and she is very active and loveable at times. Max is our 18lb baby who is a clown and very active. About: I have worked with mostly dogs with walking and some training. I have also worked with cats, lizards, birds, and guinea pigs. Any kind of animal works for me. Pet care fits in most of my schedule. I work a 3-11 shift but am able to fit sitting in when not at work. I love animals and enjoy their company. About: Our pets are family, and it can be scary sometimes when you don't know who is caring for them while you're gone. Under my care, I treat every fur baby like they were my fur baby. I grew up living with dogs, a Bichon Frise and a Pit Bull, which taught me how to communicate and care for dogs of all sizes and dogs breeds with separation anxiety. I'm pretty active and am currently training for the NYC 2022 Marathon, so I love to run/walk with my dog Casper. About a year ago, Casper and I moved in with my partner Victor and his 2 cats, Jewel & Scarlett, in Rushville, New York. Initially, we were nervous about introducing them so we started slow by keeping them in separate rooms with a gate. Once they became more comfortable and curious about each other (more on the cats end), we took the gate down after a couple days. It was a seamless living transition if there ever was one. Now all 3 love hanging out on the play mat together with their toys or taking naps nearby each other. We're looking for more furry friends to keep them company and to nap together! Our house is quite spacious with a large open living and family room for lots of play time and nap time. We have plenty of treats and running water fountain for dogs and cats. Our house has a huge front & backyard (not fenced) to run around on leash. When it snows, we love making dog trails around our property because what dog doesn't love to run in the snow! And I'm very experienced in putting on dog boots if needed. Lastly, we are a 15-20 minute walk to Canandaigua Lake, and live 3 minutes from Bare Hill. Currently, Victor and I are started a small business that will be launching this Spring. We work from home Monday-Friday and make our own hours so we are flexible. And I'm available on the weekends and any last minute bookings. Before any booking, I would like to set up a Meet & Greet to learn what I need to best care for your fur baby(ies) and to make sure Casper and your dog(s) get along (Doggy Day Care). The dates I'm currently unavailable are July 8-24, 2022 and Sept 1-5, 2022. My Home: spacious living and family rooms for dogs to run around, a play mat area with toys, and plenty of space to bring your dog's bed so he/she feels comfortable and at home. We have plenty of treats and running water fountain for both dogs and cats. Outside, we have a huge front and backyard, although it is not fenced, still a lot of space to run around on leash. And if your dog loves to run, he/she is welcomed to join our running pack. We're a 15-20 min walk to Canandaigua Lake, and a 3 minute drive to Bare Hill Unique Area. Your Home: I will request a Meet & Greet before booking, and would like to do an initial house visit to learn where the pet food, toys and cleaning supplies are located. Along with learning if your pet has any special needs like medication. I will be a respectful guest in your home and make sure your fur baby(ies) are loved and cared for while you are away.

About: My dogs and I are ready to watch and play with your pets! We love meeting new friends and are more than happy to accommodate you. I'm currently working from home and am generally home all throughout the day to play with and hang out with your pets. If I have an errand to run, I can always let you know ahead of time. We have a fenced in area for the dogs to play and splash if they want! If I do leave the house, I generally crate my dogs and would also crate your pet if you need. “Alexander was super kind. Our dog seemed very happy after arriving at his place. When we met at the end of the day , she was happy to see us, but a bit of a sad glance back as we left Alexander. Two things to note: actually lives closer to Watkins Glen than the address on profile (as of July 25th, perhaps it's been updated). There is no fence on the property, but the driveway is long with trees and is removed from the road which isn't super busy. Our dog gets distracted by squirrels, etc. So we left him with a long lead for her and she was very safe on the property. Bonus: she is now napping. Generally a sign of a fun time.”

About: I worked for a pet hotel for 5 years taking care of dogs and cats. This included doggy day camp (playtime), feeding, cleaning, and giving meds if needed. About: I have always had a love for animals since I can remember. I rescued and rehabbed two feral kittens that were living under a dumpster to my own rescued pup. I have had guest dogs in my home from tiny to extra large. They always received the same care as my own dog from sleeping in bed with us to plenty of walks and outdoor time. They will be in great, responsible hands with me! I currently have my own business so I make my schedule. I can be flexible with days of the week and times even with last minute notice. I always ensure the pets are secure via leash before leaving the home to go for walks or when they are "in" for the day (crates, baby gate - no matter their set up). I also gather all the information about the animal - any reactions to certain situations, recall cues etc prior to visits.

About: I have worked with animals all of my life. I have two dogs of my own at home and everyday they get walks, treats, and playtime no matter what my schedule looks like. I am going to college and dog sitting is something that I find enjoying. I recently moved here from Michigan. I have an easy schedule so I am normally available. About: My experience with animals but more cats than anything but I have grand puppies that I love and have taken care of. I have had them overnight and have gone to their house out my personal schedule to let outside, to feed and love. I have two cats that is not just pets but are like mine and my wife's kids. Kiki is 13 year old female and she is very active and loveable at times. Max is our 18lb baby who is a clown and very active. My grand puppies are two Huskys, a black lab and two mix breed dogs who I have partially help raise. All in all I love these animals as family members. I would do the same for yours. My schedule is flexible. I have another job where I shop and certain days of the week is slow. This would be perfect to fill the slow times from my other job Well our two cats are very much loved. We don't have fenced in yard but we built a cat patio so our two cats would get fresh and feel safe.
About: I always loved having pets growing up. I grew up in the country so we had a lot of space for animals to be able to run around and be outside. Dogs, cats, birds...practically every creature you can imagine. Currently I have a cat of my own, and a friend’s dog who I watch fairly regularly. It works out well because I’m a very active person who likes to get outside as much as possible—hiking when the weather permits and bringing him along with me. This is in part due to my ever-changing, flexible schedule. I have a few set shifts during the week, but for the most part I make my own hours and I have time to be available pretty much whenever I am needed!
About: I have taken care of dogs since I was 11 years old. It started with my family dog, along with family members dogs. I would walk them and feed them. I then got my own dogs that I do all care for. I started fostering with a local rescue in 2022. I’ve cared for dogs with medical issues. Anywhere from Seizure disorders, parasites and other various medical issues. I treat every dog that I care for as if they’re my own. I currently work full time, M-F 730a-330p. I am able to check in, walk, feed, etc, dogs before work, during my lunch and after work. I have 2 dogs of my own. We live in a 3 bedroom house. Unfortunately, I don’t have a fenced in yard. I do take my dogs on multiple walks everyday along with utilizing a tie out (if they want to stay out longer), and would do the same with yours, so they get some outside time.
About: I have worked with mostly dogs with walking and some training. I have also worked with cats, lizards, birds, and guinea pigs. Any kind of animal works for me. Pet care fits in most of my schedule. I work a 3-11 shift but am able to fit sitting in when not at work. I love animals and enjoy their company. I love walking and hiking and animals make the time even more relaxing. I cannot have pets in my home but can travel to your home to watch your pets in their environment where they can be more comfortable. I can walk or care for them any way that is needed. About: I’ve had dogs in the family my entire life. My parents currently have 3 Lab/Australian Shepard mixes that I care for often. I’ve also dog sat for multiple friends on several occasions and loved every minute of it! I’m currently working full time at home. I work around noon to 8 pm, I take the trek to Rochester 5 days a week so if you’re local to Rochester I have time in between to check on your animal bestie— usually I do longer stays while clients are on vacation or gone for the summer, anything really works. I usually have 2-3 days off, and can usually adjust my schedule as I need to. I love a good list— and support your animal as directed. Anything to make your animal feel as comfortable and happy as possible! I’ve stayed 2 months in a clients home, and kept watch + it’s always awesome to have someone take care of your animal and your home!

There were two times that she canceled morning of and, with that late notice, I was not able to leave work or get anyone else to take him out. I understand life happens but my little guy did go to the bathroom in his crate both of those days. If I could give 4 1/2 stars, I would!”

And our high maintenance older pointer mix is just as peaceful as ever, his respiratory issue was taken care of well and that's a lot to keep up with. I can't say enough how much my wife and I appreciate the care they gave them. The fenced in yard with a good wood pile, walks, and pictures gave us peace of mind the whole time. About: Like many others, I am a dog lover and was raised taking care of family dogs. Unlike others, that passion led to training and classes, competing in dog sports, and now, competing in dog shows. If your dog likes the crate, I have an extra for them. When I run errands, your dog will be crated or gated in a separate room from my dogs for safety.
