About: Raised a well trained border collie in high school and recently fostered a puppy that became a service dog through Dogs For Better Lives. We trained it for 14 months to prepare for service training. Typically the professional training takes 4-6 months but our boy graduated in 2.5. I love short, fun training sessions and consistency. I was a solo traveler living the vanlife but am back home helping my folks in Maryland. I love dogs but owning one would radically change my lifestyle. I’m hoping that through Rover I can still have some dog time on the road and take some good boys and girls for adventures outdoors. Primarily I like to do drop-in visit for walks and short training sessions. Once we build a rapport, I’d like to do hikes and overnight adventures.

I have a large property on a very quiet road. Plenty of room for long walks and exploring. If your dog is a swimmer, I have a pond they can swim in. We have gates in the house if dogs need some alone time or we can easily crate your dog, if that’s what they are comfortable with.

While I pursue this, I also work full time in an animal emergency clinic. I have had 2+ years of animal emergency experience, including large dogs and cats, and even reptiles like snakes! About: I work part time and am pretty flexible with my schedule. My fiancée and I currently have 4 cats but I grew up with dogs. I love dog sitting for friends and family. My previous dog was diabetic so I have given insulin and have with experience with senior dogs. I currently work part time so I have a lot of time to play with your animals! Our cats love to cuddle and to go for walks in their stroller. I use automatic feeders for dry food and give them wet food once a day. I’ve pet sat where animals are free fed or prefer to be fed at a specific time.
