“I wanted to give the highest recommendation to Volha as a dog-sitter! My 1.5 year old pitbull mix stayed with Volha and her family for 3 nights (3.5 days.) I have to admit, this being my first time using the service, I was a bit nervous. Not because I do not trust Rover, but because my dog in particular is very timid, shy, and can be very introverted - so I did not know how she would take to being left for days with strangers (except for meeting Volha in the park for a few minutes a few days before.) It turns out i had nothing to worry about! She immediately took to the family and stayed on a normal behavioral and sleep schedule and seems to have had a great time. For reference, in the past, even when my dog would stay WITH me but I would take her out of town for a couple of days, she would act a bit strange after being knocked out of her normal routine. (Nothing super out of the ordinary - but she would, for example, go hide in the bathroom for a few hours and generally act very despondent.) My point is - whatever Volha and her family are doing is great! My dog came back happy, healthy, and energetic. In terms Volha's communication style, she sent me several pictures and written updates during the days when I was gone, going out of her way to be in touch and asking the extra questions to make sure that everything was okay. Pending availability, I definitely plan to work with Volha again!”

About: I've been taking care of dogs since I was five years old and continued to get more dogs. I have dog sat for multiple friends and family rating from dogs and cats. As far as training animals, I did grow up with having to train them so I do have some experience. I am currently working part time and go to community college but will be able to manage and work out a schedule that will be accommodating. I have 3 dogs that have invisible fences outside so they can roam free without getting lost, going to the road, running off. I have a big yard surrounding my house so they are used to running around freely. When it gets too cold they come in to the house or garage with my father. I am used to walking dogs as they do get walked on occasion at home or if we have them out of the house. I do not off offer services that welcome pets into my house but I am accommodating as necessary and will offer services at your residency.
“Abigail was the perfect cat sitter. I was so nervous leaving my cats for so long but it turns out, I didn't have to worry at all. She came for a meet and greet, learned all their names, and followed every instruction during the entire two week period. I needed twice a day drop ins for one hour each. She stayed for the entire hour, played with the cats, fed them, pet them, cleaned food bowls, replaced water bowls and cleaned their litter. She took pictures of them every time and by the end, my cats were so comfortable with her. I would hundred percent recommend her if you want a sweet, caring sitter who you can rely on.”

One hour minimum is preferred; gas and travel time to the adventure site are included. I have many mountains, lakes and trails on my list, so I do not see it as fair to charge you for that time! You will only be charged for adventure time. Depending on your pup(s) comfortability in the car, we may travel up to 45 minutes. You and I will decide together on location details, and this app will track where your pup(s) and I are at all times. I will do my best to provide competent care for your pet. I am currently retired from the Columbia County jail, after completing 23 years. I am a Navy veteran. I also have six dogs of my own (including large breeds), so managing different personalities, routines, and energy levels is something I’m very comfortable with. These days I focus on in-home pet sitting, because most pets are happiest staying in their own space and keeping their normal routine. About: I’ve always took a liking to animals and always had postive bonds with them. Over the years of growing up my grandfather owned several big dogs and cats. While others would shy away, not me I always helped out and didn’t mind watching them. I currently run an online business which has allowed me to have so much time for my daily clients. Due to my freedom I’m able to provide walks as often as every two hours or less for my puppies. I also get to spend my days cuddled up with my temporary babies. Caring for any pet at my home or others will be very similar I will need to know any notes and any restrictions for me and the dog. “I wanted to give the highest recommendation to Volha as a dog-sitter! My 1.5 year old pitbull mix stayed with Volha and her family for 3 nights (3.5 days.) I have to admit, this being my first time using the service, I was a bit nervous. Not because I do not trust Rover, but because my dog in particular is very timid, shy, and can be very introverted - so I did not know how she would take to being left for days with strangers (except for meeting Volha in the park for a few minutes a few days before.) It turns out i had nothing to worry about! She immediately took to the family and stayed on a normal behavioral and sleep schedule and seems to have had a great time. For reference, in the past, even when my dog would stay WITH me but I would take her out of town for a couple of days, she would act a bit strange after being knocked out of her normal routine. (Nothing super out of the ordinary - but she would, for example, go hide in the bathroom for a few hours and generally act very despondent.) My point is - whatever Volha and her family are doing is great! My dog came back happy, healthy, and energetic. In terms Volha's communication style, she sent me several pictures and written updates during the days when I was gone, going out of her way to be in touch and asking the extra questions to make sure that everything was okay. Pending availability, I definitely plan to work with Volha again!”

About: We (fiancé and I) have been pet owners our entire lives. I own and have cared for horses, dogs, cats, guinea pigs, and more. We have a single family home, in a safe and quiet neighborhood in the heart of Pleasant Valley. Our fenced in backyard has poles, jumps, and tunnels to entertain your furry friend with dog agility! Our flexible schedule( myself and fiancé) allow us to care for your dog day and night, in a safe and secure setting. I work remotely most of the week. Our property has a fenced in backyard in safe and quiet neighborhood. We treat our doggy guests like our own, and they will have lots of fun playing in the comfort of our home. We have two friendly dogs, a Cockapoo and Jack Russell, both males who love interacting with all dog breeds.
